Anyone else watch this awesome grappling event? I love Metamoris because it's always stacked with super fights. This one was especially crazy because Josh Barnett managed to tap Dean Lister! Lister hasn't been subbed in competition in over 16 years! It was a crazy fight. Josh dominated in top control, using cradles, and amazing weight distribution for the entire 20 minutes. Exciting stuff. The Chael v Galvao match was exciting, but man, Barnett and Lister was awesome. Score one for catch wrestling.

Not just the Tendo King, the power of the Galactic Leyline surpasses that of the Tempa Emperor, No!, It's magnificent power is even greater than that!
He had a fairly substantial size advantage, but just how dominate he was, was actually really surprising. I mean Lister is a monster. They don't call him "the Boogeyman" for no reason. Yet he had pretty much nothing for Barnett. Barnett literally controlled the entire 20 minutes until he got the sub in the last 16 seconds. Wild Stuff.
Chael was actually doing alright for the first part of his match, but Galvao managed to take his back and sink in a mean body triangle.. from there it was pretty much over for Sonnen, and Galvao quickly got the choke.
All the other matches were actually really exciting and full of great technical grappling, but only the 2 headliners had finishes. I'm curious to see who they bring in to go against Barnett for the heavyweight title at Metamoris 5, if that ends up being a thing.
