Im game to sign up for the league this year.

Well, I didn't count but it looks like we have enough for at least one league. I'm in but I almost never log in to MTGS anymore.

So, is it PPR and are we going decimal scoring (1 yd= .1 points as opposed to 10yds gets you a point)?

Yes it's ppr. .25 per reception. .1 pts per rush/received yd. .05 pts per pass yd

Huh. I ask because I think im missing the scoring breakdown and where that is. Its no big rush, since we have a small amount of time, but I think Im missing something.

I am still game to playing in the league this year if there is room.

I don't care about most rules as long as they are clear ahead of time and I'm assured we aren't playing in week 17.

Well... as long as draft day is not next weekend (Busy) and starts after 9 PM EDT, I'm more than game to re-up this year.

I don't mind having 14 teams in the league but if we do we should probably tweak the roster rules a bit. With 12 teams it was already kind of pushing it with the Flex option but with 14 I doubt we can support having a true flex. There are just not enough QBs and RBs to fill out 14 flexes (I am afraid if there are enough RBs to fill out 14 teams with 2 slots since you need that backup, but that's more of a personal concern at this point). Is it possible to switch the flex to a WR/TE only flex since those positions are the most numerous.

Edit: Also since when have we tracked yards allowed (almost positive it is new)? It seems like a silly stat to use since a bunch of teams play bend don't break defense. If possible I also suggest turning the yards allowed off and stick to the classic points, sacks, interceptions, and fumbles recovered format.

I haven't tweaked league settings yet so don't worry about those. I have it at 14 teams but I have a few outstanding invites so it could end up at 2x 10 team leagues

I would actually like 2 10 man leagues personally.

Still waiting on two people to accept invites and still need AT LEAST 1 more MTGS member to sign up to play

MTGS draft set for Saturday, August 30th @ 9pm Eastern. I have 7 other drafts currently and that date is the only open date I have in my schedule. Hopefully everyone will be able to make it

Are the leagues full already? Sorry I'm pretty late to the party this year, but if you still have room I'd be down to join.

IMO, the more teams a league has the more important it is that the flex spot is versatile. You barely want a flex spot in an 8 team league but in a 16 team league you almost want 2 flex spots so that the talent in one position isn't dried up and over-valued by round 5.

8 team leagues are pretty boring. Everyone is loaded at every position so there are less trades and each week is pretty much a crap shoot.

at this current stage of the game we dont have much of a choice. We have to work with what we have

Oh yeah I totally understand, it's just meh you know. I'm in your boat as well, as I'm currently trying to hobble together a league at my work with a bunch of rookies and it's just miserable. I wish we could get 4 people to sign up in a weeks time but I don't know where to look.
