I've had my 360 since it came out a bunch of years ago and with the release of the new systems, I was think about upgrading. I'm not debating XB1 or PS4, but console vs. PC. I was thinking PS4, but the Steam sale is making me really want to lean toward a good PC...can anyone give me some pros/cons to each (graphically, price, convenience, etc)

Well obviously the console path is cheaper assuming the hardware does not have a very high failure rate. Generally the PC graphics will trump consoles unless it is a (crappy) port. For me, as a mostly PC gamer nowadays the preference draw for me comes from the type of games I want to play. For instance if I play a shooter I cannot stand a controller and have to have the mouse and keyboard. If you enjoy RTS/MOBA games, PC is just more suited control wise. If you play a lot of RPGs or action games, the consoles is going to be better equipped (and yet you can plug a controller into a PC, but I have had no many ported to PC quality issues over the years to bother with that).

I will always firmly stand by the belief that Magic is a game first and a collectable second.
1. What is your price range? A decent gaming computer that you assemble by yourself can run anywhere from $800-1000 range. PS4 is significantly cheaper but gaming PC can do more than game obviously. If you need a new computer, I'd recommend the gaming PC because that's a 2 in 1 deal right there.
2. How much are you into console exclusives? If the answer is no, you shouldn't really bother with a console unless you don't want to dish out a lot of money at once
Huh, your second point is one that I haven't thought of...if I were to get a console (PS4) I was really looking forward to getting Infamous and Killzone...thanks for the feedback

Yep, halo was the only thing stopping me from getting a gaming PC
