I like some nintendo power magazine but usually i always know everything via the stupid internet before I read it. I still have a thing for magazines though.
I used to like Nintendo power but that was along time ago just when the snes came out. I still remember the meh review they gave for FF6. I still have a thing for das magazines as well, I always try to pick up one a month for kicks.
Man...Is Advance Wars not like the greatest series for replay level?
How many years ago did Advance Wars 2 come out? ****, I'm still enjoying it to this very day...Great times.
I needed a challenge so I set up a map disadvantageous to me and had three enemies allied against me. Fun to be on the brink of defeat, puts some excitement into the game. :

I like Nintendo Power now more than ever during the 13 years I've subscribed to it. They've grown up somewhat. They're trying to appeal to a wider audience now. But what I miss most is their strategies for games. That's my big gripe about their format change.

I'd say Disgaea: Hour of Darkness beats out Advance Wars for replay: the level cap is 9999 (which you'll need to get to for the secret boss), all those endings, random item levels (beef up that sword, fist, armor, or pudding???), finding all those different monster types, and beating up the senate to get your way(who wouldn't want to do that?).
Good news for all FF fans!!! Apparently FFXII is coming out on Halloween!! So assuming there isn't anymore delays, everyone can expect the newest installment at the end of October!!! I just might have to dust off my PS2 for that...
Lol. Even a month delay on FF12 wouldn't be as bad as the year long delay on Lunar: SSS.
oh very (but sadly) true.
But FF has wondered off the map to far for me. Everything up to and including FFX were awesome... then X-2 came out and i was like him a sequeal... that's neat. That's the first FF i ever quit playing without beating it. FFXI - I thought hmm online play that should be sweet. Kept reading about it and goign to forums to look around at it since I had to save up for a harddrive and such. Never even played it after I kept reading more about it and stuff. FFX12... i have high expectations for for some reason... so chances are it will bomb and I wont beat it either.
awwwwww seeing how some ppl are talking about handheld anyone looking forward to a particular game this year/month?..
Oh boy do i have a couple
Star Fox DS Mario Basketball Yoshis Island 2 Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess Donkey Kong Vs Mario 2 Legend of Zelda Phantom Hour Glass
and of the course the number one game i've been waiting for....since 2 years ago(or 1)
OKAMI!!!!!(it finally has a ****ing release date!!!)
EDIT: DAMMIT!!!! They delayed the damn Zelda game again!!!!!!(september phfff, now NOVEMBER!!! grrrrrr)
TP has been delayed for awhile =\ They're co-releasing it with the Wii and making a Wii-supported version of the game, too. Okami sounds familiar. Is it that weird pinball strategy thing?
Okami is a game made by Capcom in which you star as a wolf. Set for the PS2, the main draw seems to be the wonderful graphical presentation, which sees you travel through levels designed almost literally straight out of Japanese scripture.
Okami is looking great so far, it's a work of 'art', so to speak.
It was fun... i got a bit bored of it after awhile though. Still beat it.
I'll agree it was fun, esp. when you first see a colossus.
Edit: Well Tekken Dark Resurrection comes out tomorrow for the psp. I don't own one, but I like the game sharing idea behind it: only one person need own the game. Great idea for multiplayer.
Just played a dev demo using the Wiimote and Nunchuck attachment. They're smaller than I thought. The accuracy resolution is really good and the detection rate is very fast. There's a tiny drift factor, so if you want to hit a certain point on the screen you have to kinda plan to "stop early" a bit. After a while you get used to it, though.
Okami i think i read something about that game???? was it a white wolf and the game graphics are Cell???? like the last Zelda game???
And FF12 well another crap game for sure i'll just wait even Dirge of Cerberus isn't great and i've beat Dirge 3 times already once in each Diff. nothing more to get out of that game a complete waste of money.

Yup and so far the game is shaping up to be freaking amazing, so far its been getting petty damn good reviews and alot of ps magazines are giving it CLASSIC status, too bad the game doesnt come out till the 19th of september(the ****ing games been out since april in Japan!!!):-/
