Word to the wise: the blue ez build only counters teams without hard initates. When the other team has a fizz, don't counter it by rushing bork and frozen fist. You will be blown up, and do **** damage.

"Proving god exists isn't hard. Proving god is God is the tricky part" - Roommate
No doubt, a very viable build option but when I was experimenting, it did not suit my tastes
Considering i'm playing the initiator that also dives deep into enemy lines to kill the carry and close up the fights, the active on the locket seems wasteful (for my team, since i'm not going to around them when I need it to go off), the health regen isn't exactly my cup of tea either since they're trying to peel me off of their carry. For me playing J4, the stats that I see being useful is the CDR, health and armor. Getting the Sunfire cape gives me an extra 150 health and 10 armor and a meh active but still pretty nice in jungle and for that extra bit of damage while chasing (I buy boots of mobility usually).
Then there is the brutalizer which led me to a central problem when botrk came out. Health is still very popular especially since most people see that botrk wasn't as strong as it was when it came out. Because of this my build simply doesn't have room (or time) to accomodate the brutalizer (or black cleaver) and botrk, it has to be one or the other and I definitely like botrk for that nuke lets me heal and chase. The other stats are synergistic as well. I'm not exactly sacrificing armor shred because my Q already does that so really, the only thing i'm looking at is CDR which I was willing to sacrifice.
Well, bork over brut is fine. But your argument against Locket makes very little sense, because Xin is also a diving champion. Pop the locket then go in.

Not a fan of that build. Here's one a friend came up with that I like a lot more:
Spirit of the Elder Lizard, BT, Gauntlet, LW, then BoRK with CDR boots. You can sub any of the items for GA if you need it, or buy it as a 6th item then sell it after if procs. Spirit is your goal item for first back, instead of the usual.

Well if i'm going to buy it for its active, why not just get health >_>
By the time I pop it and dive the enemy, the time spent for my team to catch up will already be the duration of the shield for them
Word to the wise: the blue ez build only works if your team is fully capable of ending the game extremely fast and you have immaculate farm.
Fixed it for you, there.
Seriously, blue Ez is amazing mid game, as it allows you to outDPS the enemy carry and have mad poke, but late game you are outdamaged by every damage dealer on the enemy team.
Also, what's the general consensus on Anivia this season?

As long as you can land that wall well anivia will always be amazing. Having high base damage, rebirth, a stun, and a big aoe slow only further pushes her to extreme levels of amazing. She is a bit tricky to play thoug and her last hitting pre 6 SUCKS.

I'm not going to argue that she isn't good (i think she's excellent) but hasn't she been kinda buggy lately? I keep hearing that her Q disappears sometimes and the wall pushes them back instead of blocking them off.

Yeah occasionally her Q does disapprear but once you are used to using it, that is actually kind of a buff. You can still trigger the stun and if you know the pace it travels, you already know the direction you fired it, you can still hit the stun, which will make a lot of people say "WTF."
As for the wall it's about placement. You can push people back and block them off with it, similiar to trundles pillar only the push back is not as strong. It's biggest strenght is it's ability to just randomly split teams apart into no win fights that you can force. It's frankly got amazing utility for a single spell, it an initiate, cut off runners, check bushes, block objectives(or trap people in with them I've died laughing at a number of people I've blocked in baron pit at like level 7-8 for baron to do all the work for me.) It's really just insanely powerful by itself and honestly if the rest of her kit was trash but she had that wall I would still say she is viable, but the rest of her kit is also just as amazing as the wall which makes her simply insane if you know how to play her.
God I hate bad junglers. Just one example of what my last one did: started a gank way early, then left immediately after I flashed so that I could participate and got the Cassiopeia to 25%. He was right on her, she had aniv ult and undertow slow, and he just leaves. Not even quite to her tower yet either, and noc was too far to help with paranoia on CD.
I just don't get it.
edit: two anivia games, two horrible junglers. This one gave first blue to my enemy AP ez by trying to steal red and getting noticed immediately and not withdrawing. I learned that AP ez with first blue is not fun. Once again I ended up outcsing him by the end of the game without dying in lane somehow, so there's that at least. Oh yea, he had really bad ganks too.
Inform them that my role preference is ADC, someone else calls it, ok cool, I'll go Jungle.
Pick J4 for jungle. Great, I'm 3-0 with him, he's awesome.
With 8 seconds left on his clock, top lane informs me that he only plays J4 top. Uh. And then he locks in a jungle I don't really play. Uhhhhhhhhhh. And if he were to stick with that champ in top lane, he'd be playing into a direct counterpick. Great.
Ok, fine. I swap, figuring at least one of us will be in a good position to succeed.
NOPE. He bombs in lane, then starts raging at me for being a bad jungler.
So just had my first game as Sej after the remake of her. Discovered that when you give her a Randuins Omen, and rotate her abilities correctly, not even a Singed can run from you.
Ok maybe just a bad Singed but seriously she's pretty stupid good. Her jungle, was on TT, is pretty slow even there, and even with smite, but her utility is pretty brutal. Her ult is insane as ever, but scaling health damage on Q, her W damage scaling off of her max health, and her E just being an awesome mass slow, not to mention the armor and tenacidy vs slows she gets from her passive is just icing on the cake.
Not really sure how I should be leveling up her abilities though, I went R->W->Q->E leveling up W over Q for extra AoE in the jungle, and hopfully after clear, and then Q over E because scaling health damage was kinda needed with how Trundle and Singed where building that game. Not sure if that's the norm or if I should of leveled it differently. Gonna need to do some more testing with her she feels really strong now.
Played my first game with Blue Build Ezreal today, had a good Leona support which led to an early double kill for me. At that point I was questioning whether or not to go normal AD Ez or Blue Ez, decided on Blue and ended the game 20/4/10 with a full build at 30 minutes. That was fun.
Also, got a Heimerdinger Pentakill earlier this week...
In aram.
I was still pleased with it, Heimer is incredibly fun in aram.

I firmly believe that Heimer is one of the strongest ARAM champs in the game. I've played him in 3 games...and in two of them, I didn't die. Those rockets are just too strong.

Yeah, Heimer is definitely quite strong on that map. I wish I could pull him more, give me an excuse to play him without being called a troll.
In other news, Irelia is definitely not the strongest aram champ. I really should have built her straight tank that game, though it also doesn't help that Irelia is one of my weaker champs. The next game made up for it though, randomed into my favorite champ, J4. I brought the pain and dunked some fools.
I Aram'ed into Karthus not long ago. I haven't playing him since season 2, except a few games when season 3 came out on pbe and I heard about zombie karthus (revive+teleport+homeguard boots what?!). I got a triple kill at level 3. Finished 26/8/25. And thats with a lot of jumping in their team to get killed + owning.
But like you I had to start with a bad pick of Vayne. They won so hard though, they had Kayle, Soraka, Kha, Heimerdinger and WW IIRC.
In that game, we got a Kat on our team, who refused to switch and then rerolled :/ UGH.
I pick Trundle. Enemy team decides to "counter" me by not picking a tank and then brag about this fact in all chat. You can guess the outcome.
