Cool, I always liked the ratchet and clank games, I think I have finished the first one but since its been like 2 years now since I last played it I am not sure. I have played the second one for good amount too I think.
If it's simply beating the game, mine would be Devil May Cry 4.
If it's 100% completion, Castlevania Dawn of Sorrow (and when I say 100% completion, I include 9 of all items, 9999999 money, 9999999 EXP etc etc), with the other two DS Castlevanias on the way.
Easily one of the most incredible experiences in video gaming I've had. Goes from mysterious to scary to outright hilarious, and remains compelling throughout. Fantastic writing, fun puzzle solving, and multiple endings? What more can one ask for?
I just beat Mass Effect 3 after deciding to grab it used for $20. I don't see what all the fuss over the ending is about. I thought it was very well done and a solid storytelling choice.

Agreed, one of the best games I've ever played. The writer (Kotaro Uchikoshi) is an absolute genius at writing thrillers with great characters and bizarre pseudo-science centered plots. Best part is that the story blindsides you with twists at every opportunity!
I've been slowly working my way through everything that guy has written that has been translated into English.
I haven't been finishing many games recently. I think the last one I actually completed was Pokemon White some time last summer. Since then I've been playing games with no defined ending.

I think the fuss was about how the game promised that your choices would have an affect on the story (and by extension, on the ending) and the only affect they *actually* had was changing the background colour of the ending.

A free DLC launched a couple months after the core game that tacked quite a bit more onto the various endings. Did you have that installed?
Now I'm going to have to do some research on 9 Persons, 9 Hours, 9 Doors. Never heard of it.

Heh, the endings aren't impacted by your choices even for the color. That is solely determined by the singular last choice you make in the game. And even more bizarre, some of the colors may be barred if your Fleet power/Readiness/Magic Number isn't high enough. As if the Reaper God Child somehow cares whether or not you got both the Geth and the Quarian to come fight for you. By the time you're standing in front of him/it, does it really matter what's going on outside?
I guess that paragraph makes it sound like I hate the game, but I really do still love it and the entire series. The ending just leaves quite a bit to be desired, even after the DLC. I'm not asking for a Breakfast Club-esque look into the future to see if Garrus goes back to college and gets a degree in Civil Engineering. Really, the individual storylines of each character are wrapped up to satisfying conclusions throughout the third game as it is. The ending doesn't even really need to be impacted by your choices throughout the game, for me. Just some tighter storyline around how the Reapers end up being defeated/deterred, a somewhat logical use for the Fleet Power/Readiness/Magic Number statistic, and no ridiculous Deus Ex Machinae. I say that's not too much to ask!
I beat Bastion a few weeks ago. It was pretty good and definitely worth the ~$5 that it was on sale for.
I also "beat" To the Moon, although I don't think it could really be considered a game. It's pretty much just an interactive story, but man, what a story. I haven't cried tears of joy and happiness like that in probably my entire life.

All of the above pretty much and feel free to talk about your other accomplishments with the game as well that you just finished. Either if it's completed all of the sidequests or obtaining all of the best weapons for each character in a final fantasy game. So Yeah, pretty much all the above.
You can even talk about how difficult it was to complete this side quest or how difficult/easy to beat a final boss. I want to make this thread as open as possible but still in the context of finishing video games. So have fun and enjoy reading and posting.
Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2.
That isn't finishing with everything unlocked but just main storyline. I don't often go for the "100%" completion thing anymore since I don't devote a great amount of time towards video games as a hobby.
Currently working of Castlevenia: Lords of Shadow.
Cool, I remember finishing the first Ninja Gaiden Sigma game. It was definitely pretty addicting and alot of fun. Castlevania: Lords of shadows is a pretty awesome game too and I still need to finish the game as well.
Just finished up Kingdom Hearts 1, looking forwards to Kingdom Hearts 2. Having beaten the game before, doing Sephiroth and all that wasn't amazingly hard, but it was still a challenge that took me a few times to complete.
I also completed Psychonauts since my last entry into this log, and got 100% completion if you don't count a few optional cutscenes/steam achievements.
Last game I finished was Mega Man X4. Full completion as Zero. Fun game, but the last boss fight left a lot to be desired compared to Mega Man X. I'm glad I played through as Zero, playing as X the whole game would have just been too easy.
Currently working on Metal Gear Rising with my brother. It's... well, I'm not a fan, but it's not as awful as I originally thought it would be.
EDIT: just beat it. Didn't realize I was that close to the end. Short game.
Thanks to Rivenor of Miraculous Recovery Signatures!
Trying to finish Max Payne 3 now.
