I am new to posting on this forum but wanted to ask you all who is your favorite magician and why?
Personally I love Misty Lee: http://mistylee.com/
She is an excellent performer and is so witty. During one of her q & a sessions, she described people being drawn to spirituality and the occult because they think secrets are sexy. That their access is limited and their content is taboo. I love her attitude and especially her Houdini Seances.
Seen a couple interesting documentary's with Penn and Teller recently. One good one you can youtube is 38 Years of Magic and Bull*****. Pretty interesting stuff actually.
If you guys haven't already been watching Penn & Teller's Fool Us, I highly recommend it. It showcases a wide variety of up-and-coming magical talent in an atmosphere that's celebratory rather than cutthroat. The one problem: Jonathan Ross.

We had something like 2 seasons over here and then it just vanished from the airwaves. And yes the biggest problem with it is Jonathon Ross.
