Just out of curiosity, is here anyone with any kind of skills in editing pictures?
Because in case of you not checking out Clan Council (and I doubt you have), there has been some discussion that next clan contest would be creating a banner for Council, but I wonder whether we do have anyone here (besides Icy) who has any skills in that area...
(Also: I finally deiced to change my avatar... a bit.)

Also, welcome to our clan! I haven't introduced myself: I am Bur, this clan's Clan Rep (and still missing my title) and the one who kicks butts to make things happen. I hope we'll get along in the future!

I have to admit that it took me sometime to get used to the new forums, and we still have quite a few problems here (like, where on earth is my shiny Clan Rep -tag?), but overall, it has been quite nice. (And according to what I've heard, this is one is much better when it comes to updating and doing new things, since these forums aren't held together by magic and duct tape, like the old one was...)

I don't dislike these forums... I got a little mad that I had to reinsert the images into my GAA4 primer, but that's about it. I like that you just have to scroll over a tagged card to see the image. That's a rather handy development.

I agree, the forums look alot better, but the thing that really gets me is that its alot slower than the old site, making using it a real burden If they could speed it up, that would be appreciated. And yes, the pop up cards are incredibly nice.
There was a MVC going on before, so I should probably answer it for Mayael.
Land: Yavimaya Hollow. Poor Mayael has a huge lightning rod on her head, and this lets her soak up some removal without actually dying.
Creature: Avacyn, Angel of Hope. As much as people hate her, she fills an important function, and I love throwing her out at instant speed when a Wrath comes down.
Artifact: Rings of Brighthearth. This card is insane. Start playing it.
Enchantment: Greater Good. Yes, please kill my guys.
Planeswalker: Domri Rade. Mayael and the brat are best buds.
Instant: Chaos Warp, because screw Humility.
Sorcery: Tooth and Nail. I don't have any win-right-now combos in Mayael for this reason, but I have plenty of untap-and-win combos.

A mere ten days after the Mending, a young knight of Valeron and a young ranger of Eos made a discovery that would change Alara forever.
I need some help here. I been thinking of making on my new EDH deck and didn't find the right general that suit me. I already have Azusa, GAA4 and Varolz under my command. So I have a lot of red pool card which is never been use. I have a few knowledge about red trick and tips but I'm interested to try. Would anyone give me some suggestion of which general should I use, mono red would be Great! I been looking at kiki-jiki and goblin tribe deck. I don't want Norin coz it similar to some player in my play group.
The thing I've found when making a new deck using colours I don't normally use is that I don't have the staple cards in that colour, meaning I have to go out and buy a completely new set of cards to be able to hang in my Meta. That's the caution I'll give you. If you don't mind getting new cards, then by all means step out of your comfort zone! It's a really fun and rewarding experience.
Purphoros is very playable, I understand, though I also hear he's boring.
Good Red decks that I've seen make excellent use of artifacts, but can be a little fragile (one well-placed wipe, and you'll have a lot to rebuild). Also, Red is good at land destruction, mana limiting (think Blood Moon), and chaos. Lately, Red has been seeing some token love, too. Is there a certain strategy you wanted to use?
Anyways, off the top of my head, some staple mono-Red cards would be as follows:
Obviously, you will tailor your list depending on the general and strategies you choose to base your deck on.
Black/Red is a very powerful combination that actually takes a lot of skill and balls to play. I've only seen one person in my Meta do it successfully because most RB decks hurt the pilot as much as they hurt opponents. Of course, it all depends on the type of deck you're running. RB punisher is pretty typical, and I can think of some interesting things to do with stax. Anyways, Lyzolda, the Blood-Witch is a pretty solid RB general if you want to go in that direction.
And MVC is like MVP, but for cards. So we're talking about cards in our decks that have been very, very useful lately. (It's not about the cost of cards.)
MVC stand for "Most Valuable Card". The idea was originally to list a card of each type (land, creature etc.) from all of your EDH-decks that has proven to be most valuable for you.
Also, I usually get cards for my EDH decks, since I've only been playing since M10 and don't play standard (= don't buy boxes etc), so my collections aren't that big. I'm not afraid of buying even some of more valuable cards for my decks, if they really are needed (I bought italian Nether Void and few others for my Mishra)...

I think if you want tibal Goblins, you should go with Krenko, Mob Boss. Big mana production can be explosive with things like Ashnod's Altar and Skirk Prospector. I have found that Krenko doesn't need a ton of mana to go off, and can be built pretty easily.
The only thing I've had trouble with on the new forums are hybrid mana symbols. Anyone figure out how to make those? The old way doesn't seem to work for me.
I try Mogis and find it not enjoyable with my play group. It some kind of lock down and hardy to deal with, even me who play it, feel a little bit boring. Mogis have promoted the concept of continuous pain to opponents, it make the game slow down and annoying without a solid wincon.
I think of Kiki-Jiki as a general but my plan is to avoid Combo base decklist and improve it with the strong synergy aspect instead. I'm not sure what will it look like but Yeah! I do my best.
Plan B, Krenko will becoming my general if I found out that Kiki-Jiki doesn't entertaining me.
Kaervek is great for punishment decksand Wort mad Auntie is fun for goblin decks.
Kaervek the Merciless will also draw hate to you very quickly, I ran a deck with him for a month and it's very easy to become public enemy number one upon declaration of your general. Hard to find a cute and cuddly facade for Rakdos hate and punishment. Might be easier to hide behind tri-colors.. add some other fun to the mix, not sure how though. Kind of makes me want to look back into Hate.

It is, but it only works for English cards. For other languages, the links don't work at all anymore, and that's not very handy.
Dreams of the Sphinx (Sharuum the Hegemon)
Here Today, Gone Tomorrow (Roon of the Hidden Realm)
For vår jord (Azusa, Lost But Seeking)
Black Power (Xiahou Dun, the One-Eyed)
And, yes, it only does English. But I think that's part of the forum rules or something
EDIT/UPDATE: Just reviewed BNG in my GAA4 Primer. If you've got the time or the inclination, please check it out! (/shameless plug)

Emille, Seven-Sting Dancer Shalin Nariya
Land: Steam vents. my favorite dual land just because of the art
Creature: Riku of two reflections. just so versitile it's not even funny
Artifact: Mycosynth lattice. very interesting interactions with this card. LoL as they are sad when splinter
Enchantment: Necropotence. so much draw it's not even funny.
Planeswalker: Tybalt, the fiend blooded. lol insurrection
Instant: Murder. quick removal. not much better than this.
Sorcery: Rite of replication. whats better than one guttersnipe 10 guttersnipes (when copied with riku)
My thing wont just pop up the cards i still have to click them
Is Purphoros playable?
Black/red edh is also interesting.
Thanks in advance

Things you will want to add.
Thornbite Staff, with a sac outlet, this goes infinite with Krenko.
Umbral Mantle, Thousand-Year Elixir, Puppet Strings etc. Untapping Krenko is fun.
If blue is a problem in your meta, run Red Elemental Blast and Pyroblast.
Goblin Matron goes without explaining.
Be aware, that Krenko can be easy to disrupt at times, and that he draws hate because he is explosive.
