Are you guys looking forward to christmas and the new year?
I'm itching for vacation. I leave this friday and don't need to be back to work till next year. At least that's the plan. Hanging with the family.
I might be moving from this house. The first month was annoying, cause I had to hike around the house to go to the bathroom and even when I moved to the room upstairs I had no access to a kitchen. Which I wouldn't have minded if I wasn't spending $140 on utilities. Well one of the owner's moved in to work on it and he opened up the house so I had access to everything. Talked about a shared space and kitchen and stuff...actually made it worth my while. I even finally moved all my stuff out of my car yesterday. Then today he tells me a new plan...not really his fault since his wife calls the shots...basically puts me back at living with no kitchen. I've been thinking about that...I don't think I care to play that game for two years. I'll see what happens, but I think I'll try to find a better place for February.

I've been so busy at work, department stores are crazy places to work over christmas. I have to work 12pm to 9pm tomorrow, then I have four days off until boxing day, which I'm working 9-2. Then I work all week until new years and have Monday and Tuesday off. Can't wait to get drunk on NYE!
Bought some boosters tonight, got a foil Runed Halo and a Liliana of the Veil. Pretty happy!

Xmas & Newyear, alone as usual.
On the morning of my Birthday (Nov 9th) I was getting ready for work. Some of you may know/remember I had a LT Hip replacement in April '07. Well, that morning it popped out of the socket. Yeah, ouch.. Took an ambulance to the nearest hospital and had it set back in. They made me an appointment for me to go see the actual Doc who did the work to be safe. 6 days later, in the early morning hours of the day I was to see said Doc, it popped out again. This time (since I wasn't on the floor) I waited for my parents to come pick me up and take me to the hospital where I was to see my Doc anyway. They set it back in place, but cut me back open to put more synthetic padding around the tendon so it hopefully won't happen again. It's been 6 weeks and all seems fine so far; just easy going with it and tender. Still, not fun..
But I do have Pics!!:p

Are you really not doing anything for Xmas and NY? Not even spending time with family? Christmas is like the one time of year my family get along, it's great.
My family gets together on Christmas Eve @ my Grandmothers house for an afternoon breakfast for dinner. Then the kids open their presents. (we don't waste $ on eachother, the adults really) And everyone goes home.
For most, going home means going back home to have christmas w/ your kids or husband/wife. For me, it is go home and sit there alone.
For newyears, IDK. I honestly have to say I don't have any real "close" friends to speak of. The ones I do have I could count on one hand and still turn a door knob.
..I'm 33. I can remember being 23 and not being able to image feeling any more lonely in life. Whelp, I do...

Yeah, I can understand being lonely. There's been many a campfire where I sat alone with my rice and beans thinking that it would be nice to have company. I have stories and all that, but I need to find internet to tell folks those stories cause in real life all my friends turn into online friends cause of the traveling.
I need to do something here while I have a long term job. I'm thinking some sort of club....maybe even an online dating thing? That sounds desperate, but I've never had luck in the bar scene and who knows, it could be fun. I think I should work on my health too...getting a bit thick around the waste lately.
Going home for me is heading to my folks place in vegas and just hanging out. Probably dinners or breakfast with my siblings, chilling on the back porch with coffee and my folks, just relaxing.
I need to catch back up on the whats what at salvation. I've been a hermit in the clan thread and suddenly I find that Sene is still an admin...votan is an admin...and there are more admins I don't know about. Weird.
And Votan...you best not leave clans. Ria became admin and left clans and Yuks became admin and left clans. I became a mod to help them out...and now they's gone.

Edit: On a more cheerful note... My grinder seems to be missing a gasket, causing it to puff out clouds of product. It didn't take me long to be covered in a fine green sheen of powdered poo. I Know I probably should have taken a shower before going to that restaurant..but I was hungry. besides...powdered poo doesn't smell...does it?

I bought some new computer games that were on sale at steam. BLOD strongly recommended Mass Effect 1 and 2, which I will play eventually. I also bought Portal 1 and 2 which is kinda my favorite game that I've never played. I was excited, but soon discovered that I get horrible motion sickness playing it. I don't know if there's any way around that, but I can't get through a single level befor getting all nausiated. :-/:mad::(
I'm home waiting for family, food, and presents. Wrapping paper ran out so my presents are hidden in grocery bags...tacky, but I don't think my family expects much more from me.
We are big on our celebration of Christmas here. Though I must admit, it might have more meaning to us if we were Christians...or believed in God.

I never got nauseated with the game, so I'm not sure what you mean. Is it really too much motion for you?
You ever get car sick or sick on a boat? Same thing. Something about the game really gets to me and I get nauseated and need to rest. Almost had me running to the bathroom to puke a time or two. So...play a level, rest for an hour...play another level, rest for an hour. Play a long level...take a break inbetwen for an hour. Moaning and groaning and trying not to puke.

I got a Taylor acoustic for Christmas and an Mbox Mini Mixer and a Rode NT1A Microphone, so I'm going to be doing a lot of recording in the future. I've always wanted to record music but I've never had the proper equipment, but now I do!

I enjoyed Portal 2 on PS3 quite a bit, as much as I seem to be able to enjoy video games these days.. I used to be able to put a good 100+ hours in a nice RPG type game. But for some reason I can't seem to "get into" a game anymore for more than maybe 10 hours. Never thought I'd out-grow video games, maybe it is something other than that, but IDK what..

Greetings all. I'm back from my trip to Vegas. Nothing wild, just family fun. We exchanged presents and stuff. I got a flask and some nice whiskey to go with it. ...and I haven't stopped playing with that flask. Took it skiing with me where I took a nip with every lift. Spiced up my drinks at various restaurants. And just casually sipped on a few hikes here and there. Man, what a fun toy.
I also got a Kindle Paperweight. Its black and white and claims to have a battery life of 8 weeks. I bought a few books and have been enjoying a good book. I thought it would be cumbersome or that I'd miss the feel of a real book, but it hasn't really been that bad.
The new year is looking optimistic. Like new years tend to do. I plan to eat healthier....more veggies and more red meat, lose some weight, and maybe start dating. Hazzah for resolutions.
