Out of the five mythic spoils the only one that interests me is the Dragon. Makes me want to put the old Slobad EDH back together.
I'd hope you'd join our group on Skype if you left here. Also, the dragon is nice. I'm quite ok with the angel as well. The PW... um... I'm going to ignore it's existence till somebody plays it against me. Finally, I cant wait to see the land art on the card to get the full effect ^^
Hark! I haven't posted on here for a while due to a tremendous amount of schoolwork and such. I'm just checking in right now and promise that, hopefully within the next month, I get active on the forums regularly again.
For a week now my computer has been out of commission. I've been on and off with Roze's laptop, but tonight or tomorrow I'll have it back. Long story short: My computer is old (almost 6 years) and Vista sucks.
As for the new cards, the only ones I like are Aurelia and Hellkite Tyrant. The Tyrant instantly replaces Hoard Smelter Dragon in my Dragon based EDH decks. Aurelia on her own is sweet. She'll make a nice addition to both Gisela and Kaalia.
I'm honestly not that impressed with Domri. He's neat, but not really all that cool in my opinion. I'd like his backstory, because right now he's just some Gruul shaman that has a spark. Borb isn't my cup of tea for a general, so no thanks. Cute ability, but again, meh. And I don't really ever care for over the top blue cards so Enter the infinite is neat, but useless to me.
I'd hope you'd join our group on Skype if you left here.
I don't think she'd stay for very long. We can actually be ourselves a bit more in the Skype chat, and Jen really isn't the kind of person that fits well in that kind of environment. But hey, maybe I'm wrong.

Yeah!
Don't feel bad, I haven't been around much either due to life stuffs.

always worth a shot (or so one would hope)

I'm curious as to why. Because it's been slowly degrading? or real life issues/ Or just tired of our crazy asses?
I guess it's a little bit of everything. I started feeling it after GP:San Jose. As I get more work responsibilities and more IRL freedom I can hang out with my IRL friends more often. I don't know y'all's ages, but I'm pretty sure that most of you are younger than me and I just feel less of a connection to all the zaniness at this point. The general stupidity of the people on the regular forums doesn't exactly help.
We're almost at 2500 posts, so it's probably time for a new thread. I'll probably mark that as the date of my departure.
I'm like, the super young outlier here. But I like to think I'm at least slightly more mature that the average 17 year old.
I've been feeling rather out of touch with magic lately. I was gone from regular FNM's for two weeks because of sickness, and now I'm just not really feeling mtg at the moment. Played it last friday and my deck decided to troll me with basically no lands in any of my games, so that doesn't make me feel any better about it.
I'm just not feeling that "spark" right now, to be honest. Much more interested in Elder Scrolls stuff ATM.
I've been out of touch with mtg for a good long while. I havent really been in touch since alara block. *shakes cane teasingly at anubis* ya whippersnapper!
granted im 24 and namz who posts exclusively on skype is 26, but since when did age matter? it's how we act right? nobody who's still around has made me say to seth "we gotta get this kid outta here, i cant be myself"

I can accept all of those except the age bull****. Sorry, I vehemently despise that argument. Not just you, I just hate it in general. And for the record I'm 23.

I know that feeling. I've been detached from MTG for the last couple months, but It's starting to come back.
Fair enough, I'll retract the age thing. Some of you are probably more mature than me IRL anyway.
Zephy, I'll still be on MTGS (at least as long as the RP is active, as stated before), so PM me if you're up for scheduling an EDH game. Got a couple new lists brewing that I look forward to trying out either 1v1 or multi.
Although i dont act it, because i am what i consider a forever-child. Remember those Toy's R Us commercials back in the 80-90's? "I dont wanna grow up, i'm a toy's r us kid." ect Well, that's me in a nutshell.
I'm mature in my own ways, however zany or off the wall they may be.

most of what is the pack is on skype now; save moderation and limiting ourselves. We tend to make alot of adult jokes which wouldn't be sanctioned in MTGS.
I'm sure as long as MTGS exists we'll keep a thread sometime. even if this thread all but halted as soon as i got skype. (it seems)

It does seem that way, and that makes me kinda sad, as this thread is pretty much the only thing keeping me on the forums anymore. I'm sure once I start to "feel" magic again, I'll be more active on here, but until then, this thread is kinda my lifeline back into mtg.
Also, I randomly realized something today. For a guy who thinks dragons are awesome, I sure have been killing a lot of them lately... Skyrim, Monster Hunter...
POX ON YOU anubis, POX! *waves hands in a spooky spellcrafty manner* POX I SAY! (it's what you get for killing my brethren...)

It's not as bad as one man I encountered in Skyrim. A Redguard by the name of Gorr. Loved his food. He had a particular taste for Horker Stew, but always wanted to find new things to kill and eat. He suggested that when we finally killed Alduin, we should carve off a piece and smoke it into some jerky.
Is it me or do I feel that everyone moved to the skype box?
Including all the random.
For me it's more so that I've grown detached from MTGS due to how much worse it keeps getting. As for the random, well we can't really be random here anymore without the mods getting on us.

As long as MTGS is a thing, I'll want to keep a thread here just for the sake of tradition and what not. But we do have the Skype chat and an outside forum in case MTGS really does explode.

Also, I'm 21, and one of the youngest regular members here, so you can use that as your average for the ages, around 23 I think would be it.

We've had a [Pack] Skype group chat going for month now. I advertise it in these threads every so often.
