Next time you post popular opinions, please word them in such a way that they're not infractable. Someone may be widely thought to be the dullest tool in the shed, but you can't publicly call him that, which as a mod I can neither confirm nor deny that I fervently believe he's a tool.

So at the draft last night I get paired against Mascioli, and I was like, do I just scoop you here? He snap gives me the dirty look and just says I'll beat you anyway so I won't give you packs. So, it's on like Donkey Kong now. Game 1 devolves into a massive swing + Tap down from him to get me to 2 with his Spectral Rider (I'm not white/colorless). I swing back with a freshly cast trepanation blade (hitting for 4) getting exactsies. Char, char you? I like the play!.
Game 2 I was always one turn/trick away from living the triple undead alchemist dream (cackling counterpart). He also has 2/1 Flying First Strike man which is a problem. Despite having decent cards I make poor attacks and get rolled.
Game 3 I have to mulligan, he stays on 7. He makes the mistake of not drawing a fourth land, for like 7 turns (yeah move to discard step!) and I eventually drop a Test Subject and do the Mexican Hat Dance, on his face.
I totally would have just scooped him for his PWP's before he decided to be an ******* and talk **** like I couldn't beat him. Did the two games I won have variance in them? Sure. Did he get rewarded for his bad manners with bad beats, WOO WOO WOO, YOU KNOW IT!

As you can see from my deck tech that clearly is no longer secret tech...I've been advocating the card since September. Also, don't buy Grove of the Burnwillows, the combo will be banned before the season starts.

Yes, twas indeed directed at you sir. I had an idea for a little sport, and you may potentially walk away with a copy of MVC putting nothing on the line yourself. Details will be explained the next time we're both out on the Land of Kinievels

I guess that's true too, what do you think will replace punishing grove in jund, I feel like it might have been a bad idea investing in this now.after one key feature might get banned, I guess we will see on the 20th
I'm not sure to be honest, once they ban that engine the format gets dropped on its head again.

I'm more worried about jacked up Dark Ascension prices, since it is going to be drafted less than usual like Worldwake was, and if Sorin is in the set, I may have to buy a copy for EDH if he is any good.
Rise of the Eldrazi was the last big third set, I loved that set, and that was a great draft format.

Also a bunch of us are going to talk to our store and just draft DA when it releases, though its smaller its more important to get every card thats good from the set.
I've said it before, Forsycthe confirmed it at PT Philly. Don't believe me, IDC.

To me this deck looks confused between a UW Control list and a UW Blade list. I'd suggest streamlining it to either plan. Though to be honest I'm not a fan of UW Blade. I'd suggest Wu Humans first. Craig Wescoe played a solid list at Worlds for Wu Humans. If you want UW Control I'd go with Andrew Cuneo's build.
