The Set: Going to add Jen's cards to the set file. Also going to do a "Reduce your hand size" cycle of cards in black. Going to work on names for the first three characters and the get the Lupine's plot and back story up on the site.
Okay while your getting ahead of yourself making the cards right off the bat I need to say one thing in particular: I FREAKING LOVE THAT BAZAAR!
Initially we were going to do some rare duals first and then if we wanted to we could have some other rare lands however I really really like that land. We have to add that into the set, and if we can't we'll at least get it into one of the other two.
Scout does look a little bland without some flavor text. Actually I think we can tack on another ability there if we want, like say a Looter ability? Enchantment feels more like what we're trying to do with the vampires so do you mind if we alter the flavor text to reflect that more? Flock feels really underwhelming here...
Sacrifical grounds seems really strong. Then again it's a more green version of Miren, the Moaning Well so perhaps we could make it legendary as well and give it a snazzier name? Keep the Sacrificial Grounds part of it but add in a title of sorts?
Actually do you also have an IM name we can use to contact you to collaborate on some of the cards? :3
I know. I was just putting some of my ideas in card form.
With the scouts I wanted to work in the unblockable subtheme (even though the unblockable subtheme isn't extremely friendly with Voodoo). So then you have the cards like Scathing Strikes which support that theme.
Sacrificial Grounds and Central Bazaar are just me putting our mechanics and support for them into form on land cards (I love lands, they're my second favorite card type after creatures).
Migrating Flock is to show off a flavor idea. We could some creatures that are able to travel between the continents and later on serve as part of the host for the plague.

Actually I like that idea.
Don't worry so much about our Subtheme, however you are right as it's not as friendly with Voodoo. We'll make it work though and there is nothing wrong with trying to make some support for a subtheme mechanic.
@Seth: I'll be on a bit later, I have some work I need to take care of before I can relax and be creative.
Ok so we need a few things that can be brainstormed.
Name for the three sets. The plane name is Tria, but we want an actual title name for all three (like the Kamigawa block did) .
We're doing an uncommon cycle of tribal lands (one for each race) . Each one taps for colorless and can tap for 1+ color combo to give all of tat type some kind of bonus based on their theme (ex: 1WBR,t: Lupines you control gain first strike until end of turn) .

Well, I see things have been productive around here lately. Should probably bring myself up to speed. -Goes to research set idea and all the pages he's missed in a week.-
Piety: Okay this feels too much like a watered down version of Forecast + Chroma, which you already have as returning mechanics. However! I like what is being done here as I can easily see this as a WGbr mechanic. I think you can drop the whole "on your upkeep thing" and the ability will be less like a forced mix between two mechanics and more original idea. You can keep the "only once each turn" as it's a nice way to curb the mechanic from getting out of hand.
Devotion: Okay this is the one I think should have the "at the beginning of your upkeep" clause in it's ability, but then it'll feel more like the Cumulative Upkeep mechanic....which actually I think is a good thing. If you are a devoted follower, you'll gladly pay the tithe the shrine is asking. A little more voom in the bonuses for having devotion counters and I think you'll have a much much more fun mechanic here.
Also: thank you for bringing back shrines. I really did like those in Kamigawa block and have been trying to think of where I could put them in a non-asian setting block. Coolness points for that. :3
Thanks for the comments. I was going for a "Gods of Pegana/Kamigawa done right" feel with the cards.
My problem is that it might be confusing to have Piety and Devotion in the same set, since I feel I have to split the keywords between the Shrines. Either that, or put Devotion on enchantments/artifacts and Piety on creatures/instants.
Also, how would devotion look like if it was a less detrimental version of cumulative upkeep? Something like this?
Devotion [cost] (At the beginning of your upkeep, you may pay [cost]. If you do, put a devotion counter on this permanent.)
(effect dependent on how many devotion counters this has)

That could work, but keep in mind that if it goes on creatures as well, you have to be very careful not to have many +1/+1 or -1/-1 counters. It might be best to avoid those if possible.

Which? The devotion counters, or the +1/+1 counters?
You can make it so that Devotion is on Artifacts/Enchantments and Piety is on creatures. There is nothing wrong with that at all, however if your going to do that, avoid +1/+1 and -1/-1 counters is what Seth is saying. Too many counters means too much gets confused.
@HC: still? That is really odd. What email service are you using? Yahoo, gmail, hotmail...
We're literally the last group for this season of the Labyrinth. I wish I could say we have as much time to take as we want but we don't as they would like to close up shop and work out the kinks for the next time around. So when they say "You have 24 hours to clear the room" they really do mean we have 24 hours. If we miss deadline thats it for us and all that hardwork will be for naught. We're already so close to the end so lets get our asses in gear and get this done as quickly and flawlessly as possible.

Bah, forgot to put flavor text on Rumajian Scout (also forgot to come up with a better name).

And yes, as Silence said, you should get AIM and collaborate with us. And Silence, you should get on AIM so we can collaborate ideas easier.

Later tonight I'll be able to show off our main character. She still has some kinks in her spells to work out.

This would be a good idea. They've been having some issues lately, I wonder if their automated mail system was affected.
