I'll see raise you one musician joke.
How many drummers does it take to screw in a lightbulb?
4. One to do it and three to say how much better Neil Peart could have done it.
So I'm back from my marine camp It was pretty fun even though someone broke their hand, smashed up the side of a boat and someone cracked their head open. At least the water was nice and we could fish...
Are they okay?
Your marine camp sounds dangerous.
EDIT: Wait, is this a "marine" camp as in a camp about marine life or "Marine" camp as in a camp imitating or associated with the military?

Oh no, nothing military at all. The class at school that I do it in is called "Marine Studies", we study marine life, boating, fishing, SCUBA and anything in that industry
It wasn't very dangerous, just a very stormy night where a houseboat smashed against another boat because the anchor was dragging.

I lol'd
Ha nice. Too rainy here for that :/
And im thinking myr isn't as good as everyone thinks. Testing on mws, it just rolls over to removal.
Bummer about the rain dude...
Oh and I can't see there being a competitive Myr tribal deck, the good singleton Myrs will just be used in certain decks.
Is anyone bothered by the power un-creep of creatures this set? In Zendikar, we had plenty of X mana X+Y/X+Z creatures but in Scar we get expensive X mana X/X creatures again. For example, Goliath Sphinx was a 7 mana 8/7. However, Quicksilver Gargantuan and Engulfing Slagwurm are 7 mana 7/7s.
Silly english people with holidays... We're just starting ^^ only 3 weeks in.
And on the bright side, I have an awesome homecoming date/girlfriend. So yay me. And I made jazz band, as one of 2 drummers. Not bad considering I've been playing for a year, and I started working on jazz patters 2 weeks before tryouts I've had a good couple of weeks...
Oh not playing at once. Just switching off, give or take, on songs. I agree two drummers playing at once would be hard to syncronize and would just be too much noise.
Woot, saw Mastodon last night...they rocked my face off!
IT WAS SO AWESOME!
They played Oblivion, Divinations, The Czar (ALL OF IT!), Sleeping Giant, March of the Fire Ants, Iron Tusk, Colony of Birchmen, and Blood And Thunder, along with one or two I didn't recognize.
A good time was had by all.
Yeah it would be pretty crazy... Occasionally we have a jazz vibes part as well which sounds pretty sick. Unfortunately I suck at sightreading, lol. Need to work on that :/
And never heard of either of those bands. My music library is absolutely terrible.
Going to see "Battle of the bands" tomorrow. Its six bands playing to win and I have two friends who are playing in two separate bands lol At least I'm invited to the after party!
I don't feel like getting DJ hero, I'm too addicted to reach at the moment, can't wait for the next Assassins creed also.
Oh god, yes, Reach is WAYY too addicting.
I'm partial to Dread Zeppelin, simply because of the concept/name.
Cannibus Corpse is pretty good too.
Nothing like "Baptized in Bong Water" lol, funny songs.
Is there any cover band you like (Doing nothing but covers)? I like Northern Kings. Symphonic Micheal Jackson FTW.
I'm a big fan of both Richard Cheese and Beatallica.
Triple M (a radio station) has released a couple of compilation albums of live covers that are really good, with some really random stuff. They used to have listeners suggest songs and bands that they'd like to hear cover them, and people would try to come up with the most bizarre combinations that they could think of.
Yeah my life is kinda the opposite. Starting school year so everything is gearing up pretty quickly, marching band twice a week, jazz band every weekday at 7:30... Fun though. I'm kind of a band geek atm, but I like having stuff to do.
Yup, I'm packin in the extracurriculars too (non-athletic, ofc )
Anyone going to a SoM prerelease? I would, but I ALWAYS end up being busy the day they happen. ALWAYS. *Rageface*

It's not good for casual, that's for sure.

Luminum can came up with the card ages ago, same name and all!

I had the concert the night before and couldn't be picked up until late the next day so no pre release for me...
Well, one of my friends won. $500 and 20 hours of recording time, pretty cool. They play thrash metal so the crowd really got into it!
LOL
