is much easier to produce in a primarily green deck than :symu::symu:. And while I admit the visionaries would be pretty easy to cut, what would you get rid of for birchlores?
About CMB: they were necessary casualties. Think not of them, but of what they have done.

It's kind of another moment when we throw our hands up and go "DAMMIT universe, why you gotta always make me look bad in front of everyone?".

That made me frown
As for me. i've been getting my magic fix at my shop lately because when new sets are released, i TEST TEST TEST. as of right now my favorite deck is TITAN FORCE! a deck i've been toying with. most people run RG or RUG, but i'm running naya for doj and better removal. a nice list and it runs well, plus sun titan works GREAT with destructive force (brings back a land or a wall of omens)

Finally a deck so brutal and destructive as to warrant use by the Lord of Death and Rebirth, Parun and Guildmaster of the Golgari Swarm, First Evincar of [Clan Mono Black]!!!
Unfortunately, I have just started testing it, and while I have not lost a match with it yet, I feel that the Side Board could use some tuning. Could someone more familiar with the current meta lend me their talents?

At least it got you guys to post.
Ah, testing. I see a card and say "OOH! I WANNA BREAK THAT!" like steel overseer most recently. I was like "woah. Woah..." and then I built affinity.
But... In naya you can't run jace. That makes it bad. (it was originally sarcasm. And for the record, I hate that it's true at all)

Very nice. Its a deck idea I was toying around with in my mind for a few days. My build did include Liliana though, possibly Primeval Titan as well. I've been tinkering with a few EDH decks and a B/W idea too. Lists later.
@Mr. Mindbreak: Yes. Hi!
@The Tournament: I've said before, I don't feel its worth it unless there are 8 people. So it might be cancelled. Though, if this is the case, if anyone would be up for playing there decks anyways, we can still play casually.
I've tried Lilliana, but each time I draw here, I find myself wishing she was Garruk. And as far as Primeval Titan, whats the point? 6cc is where the deck tops out anyway, while deck thinning is always good, thats why I'm running full playsets of Verdant Catacombs and Kodama's Rea... err, Cultivate. Besides, which would you rather have: two lands or two 2/2s? Also, I was thinking of putting a playset of Birds in to improve clock speed, seeing as I can turn 1 Birds into turn 2 cultivate, into turn 3 Garruk, into turn 4 Grave Titan. Also, Birds + Boar Umbra is just nasty. However, there just isn't space right now for such a fragile creature. Thoughts?

I don't know man, yes with blue you get jace and mana leak, but idk.. it hasn't sold me QUITE yet. i will probably test both (and the RG version) but when i play T2, i play decks that i like... and to me.. JACE ISN"T FUN... ajani is fun plus goes along with the tap down theme.
Also the best game i had so far was vs turbo land. went like this:
turn 5 destructive force, we both barely feel it
turn 8 destructive force, he struggles but stabilizes in 2 turns..
turn 13 destructive force, sun titan x2 gets me the lands and the game

At this point, just go five colour, as in testing the white and black titans seem to be the best of the best. This could be an absolutely awful idea, but you might as well take advantage of all the multi colour shenanigans you can before Shards block rotates out...

I'm also not sold on the Boar Umbra. Seems like it could be Vampire Nighthawk, Sign in Blood, or MD Vampire Hexmage (maybe board Marsh Casualties?). It does seem like you're light on win conditions. Grave Titan is truly absurd, but if you don't draw him you're other options aren't great. Which other option is correct depends on what you expect to run into, but maybe 1-2 Gaea's Revenge?

nah, the green titan is mad good... he hits, i search for 2 manlands, next turn i can swing for ABSURD amounts of damage and with him out, destructive forces does NOTHING to me. and idk if black would fit the deck. Unless i go for a even more fun deck at the cost of success, but i think my naya build is just good enough to win, but bad enough to still be fun. i might try splashing black for ☺☺☺☺s, and it gives me another manland to do, but i'm not sure

@mr. Mindbreak: friends are just friends. Disciples are members who have hit 50 posts, so they get to choose a cool title.
@ naya force: sun Titan is probably pretty good. If you add ajani v to the mix I think it's a good reason to splash white. I was kind of quick on the reply. However, you did leave out frost Titan
@best titans: best Timmy Titan: primeval.
best Johnny Titan: sun.
Best spike Titan: grave, with primeval close behind.

Yup, i run garruk, ajani v, and i am testing gideon. and yes, frost titan needs at least 4 mana sorces for a 1 cmc removal spell, which is good in a force deck.

well the titan cycle ( minus inferno titan) has left its mark on standard. It'll be interesting to see how the [SOM] [M11] [ZEN] standard will shape up, but some fresh ideas are good. Any thoughts on the viability of Mono Black control/midrange or a B/X variant in standard? I'm thinking U/B could actually do really well if some dedicated testing is done.

Mono black needs a sweeper if control will ever be viable. consume the meek just isn't good enough. I run mono black aggro in standard for fun, but i always leave fnm with only 2 or 3 wins.

It wasn't a very profitable backstabbing, though. He/she still lost.
Opposition looks really good. However, splashing blue for stifle and daze is alot easier than for opposition. Also, what would you cut for it?

Im glad to see you lvoe drafting i guess fnm is becoming a big thing for you guys?
and they are about the same value $ wise right now. idk what the knigh will do but doj seems to be steady at 6-7. knight is at like 7 right now

@ bren: black can have... Reanimator? Maybe with sedris, the traitor king and extractor demon along with rise from the grave. (EDIT: all is dust is a sweeper.)
Yes, it is also the only time I play magic (well apart from before drafting while we wait we play constructed)
