I don't drink much alcohol. Mainly because even a little messes me up bad. I heard fat people had high alcohol tolerances automatically. I've learned not to trust what "they" aka my well meaning pals say in certain matters.
In other news, my RL name is Cynthia(don't even think of calling me Cindy) and I'm a girl. Yep, girls really do play Magic. I'm 23 and am jobless in a town I love and don't want to leave but might have to. You'd think finding a job would be easy. I have an associates degree in Information Technology after all. Companies need people to block porn sites and handle their most sensitive, super secret information that would be worth millions in their rivals hands. But companies in my area want chiefs and I'm just an indian. I have enough education that retail places don't even call me for an interview. I want to make a film about the city I live in but need a job to buy the camera and a new desktop computer(probably a Mac). Oh yeah, I've got ADD and I've only known about it for 2 years. I don't know how a person goes from pre-K all the way through college with ADD and no one noticed anything. I wouldn't have noticed anything if a teacher hadn't pulled me aside and told me he'd seen me daydreaming and not staying on task in class. But that was towards the end of school. ADD is like the plague. You can talk about it in an academic sense all you want but it never becomes really real to you until you have it. One major sign of ADD is the tendency to go from topic to topic with no logical progression. I do that alot in my posts. No one has ever complained about it. A good friend of mine says "guy" every few words in all his posts on every forum he goes to. He does it in RL too. He also refers to himself in 3rd person. Which is more annoying: having a scattered conversation or having a logical conversation where the word "guy" is inserted every few words?
Welcome, Bitsy! It's nice to see you here, you saucy thing, you. And I just love your avatar, it always cracks me up something special.
I love reading you ramble. Ramblers anonymous!
Another "girl who plays Magic." Maybe we should start our own over-clan?

All that I yearn for, for richer or poorer, is to be the light that you see. All that I yearn for, for richer or poorer, is to be the peace that you feel. All that I yearn for, for richer or poorer, is to fill your heart on my own.

You should try finding another girl in an MMO. I play Guild Wars and in my guild of 100 people 5 are confirmed girls. *lol* Hmmm, I play Yu-Gi-Oh too. There are even less female Yu-Gi-Oh players than there are females Magic players. Mainly because the guys don't want to teach a girl to play. It would be humiliating to be beaten by a girl, right? Plus, girls have a tendency towards making cute decks and so most aren't taken seriously. In Magic, the guys never assume a girl players sucks. The lady who works the card shop I go to taught me to play and she runs the most pissy decks imaginable. She had one with Spiritmonger and Pernacious Deed and another revolving around Solitary Confinement. I shouldn't talk about her. My own decks have been equally outrageous. My first tournament deck revolved around Horobi Death's Wail/Tooth/Scale of Chiss-Goria/LD. I won more games than you'd think with that deck. I even beat Raffinity! My current decks are WG Elves N' Saprolings and Zombies/a bunch of unused Black rares.
I used to play Yugioh. I stopped cuz someone stole the last 3 of my first edition gemini elves and my yata garasu. Remember the days when that was legal? Man I miss Yata!
There are a lot of women in here. So this goes for the bisexual males and bisexual females and straight males, and lesbians: How bout a hot girl of the week? We can mix it up this week. Any takers?
Bitsy, you make me feel like I have ADD. Reading all that seems a rather natural progression to me.
Bitsy, out of curiosity, where did you find the picture for that image in your signature?
It's funny that you play Guild Wars. Was playing that for a while, too. I stopped because my computer was kinda slow and laggy when running it, and I sort of lost interest. I was playing a Mesmer/Monk. She had red hair and was named Ariel.

If there were every a clan/over-clan about girl gamers, that'd be sort of interesting, but I'm afraid drama would ensue. I'm not sure I like the idea of a gender-specific community on here, anyway.

What's wrong with a little ADD?
@Decks: I tend to play blue-heavy combo control decks. I like using weird rares, too. One my favorites is Mischievous Quanar (he's so mischievious), and my new favorite is Vesuvan Shapeshifter.

I stole the pic from the Naruto Shippuuden wiki. Its not the full pic. The full pic shows Naruto's new technique a bit better.
GW has been alot more fun lately. Because of the fact that Chapter 4 isn't coming out until August they've been running weekend events every week. Last weekend was Canthan New Year. There were quests worth 5000 exp and all sorts of cool prizes. Like a mini pig(its the year of the Pig in Cantha) and bottle rockets. Also, there's a Hard Mode coming soon. *lol* Can't wait to do Ruins of Surmia in Hard Mode. As long as the hard part isn't that Rurik has to survive.
@ADD: Its hard to diagnose and there are different types. Which makes treatment difficult. Drugs aren't always the answer. I thought drugs would cure it at first. The drugs did make the symptoms go away but made me feel like crap. The best treatment for ADD is just being aware of the things you do and working to change your habits. Also, read up on ADD so you can be informed and know what you need to discuss with your doctor.

@bitsy: I know exactly what you mean, I play WoW, but with Burning crusade released, there's been more (thats actually when i started, hehe, so I guess I'm part of the new wave)
a clan specifically for girls who play magic....mmm...no offense, but I'd rather be part of a clan that's mostly guys. I find it hard to relate to girls a lot of the time.

That's what Eris always tells me anyway. Well in all reality, she usually says something more like "stop talking to me from that direction," but I like to thinks that she means something nicer ^_^.
Anyways...
How's this for not-so-funny: My crazy lung/head disease is nearly gone, but now it seems that I have caught something that expunges everything I eat almost instantaneously from my body. Damn plagues going around >_<. Hmmm.....maybe I can capture this and market it to bullemic models....

True dat. We have, surprisingly, 4 girls in a gaming group of around 10, but most of the time you peeps are quite scarce. I didn't used to believe in the gamer stereotype of guys that are afraid of women till we had our whole group go to a flgs. That was kinda funny, lotsa leers. I'm not saying that EVERYONE there was like "wtf girls!" but there were a few.
BTW, while I do luv the cosmo, has anyone here tried a kamikaze? I've recently fallen in love with that drink, so tasty, so strong, so subtle. If ya wanna make it:

At some point, in recent history, members of Coheed & Cambria left the group for personal reasons.

I don't need someone to come out to me for me to know if they're gay. I've got gaydar you see. Real gaydar too. I can just look at a guy and after hearing his voice know if he's gay. My best friend is a stoner with a half gone southern accent(he says Y'all alot) and has the fashion sense of a beaver. Yet I knew he was gay before he even said anything. Alot of people think he's my boyfriend when we're out together. He likes to walk arm in arm and is always giving me big kisses on the cheek. Its more like walking around with a big puppy than a boyfriend. I couldn't spot a lesbian if I went to the national convention of lesbian lawyers. You should hear my great-aunt Barbara talk about lesbians. She says she doesn't trust them because they probably just wanna sleep with her. Now she has to be at least 65 and hearing a 60something talk about being afraid for her virtue is simply too damned funny.
