As for me, I also need to get a job, I actually have 4 applications to random places next to me, buried in my stack of random crap I need to do that is next to this computer.
Also, I started my new semester today, and Im split right now on whether it will be amazing, or it will majorly suck. Only time will tell. The main reason why i dont like it so far though is the fact that I have a page and a half of work to do based on random WW2 Meetings, and im quite confused already on it.

You could try and make it interesting. For US History we had to do a report on 3 famous murderers, I am yet to know why, so I picked Aaron Burr, John Wilkes Booth, and Son of Sam, all of whom were completely nutso people, who immeidately after their murders went off and did insanely dumb things.
EX: Right after Booth shoots Lincoln he jumps from the balcony, catches his leg on a wire that is holding up bunting, falls and breaks his leg. He then runs through the backstage of the theater and runs out. Gets on his horse and heads for a farm. By this time there are over 20 cops chasing him. They find him in the barn at the farm, shoot him, then burn the barn down.
Ouch. Today I was curling in the weight room and I think I may have hurt some kind of muscle in my bicep. It hurts like a...b word, and I'm in a lot of pain.
@ Alpha _Strike: so you're suddenly an expert on music? what kind of music do you listen to?
Besides, it sounds like you just described Panic! At The Disco live.
Not an expert certainly, but I like music a lot and I know a bit about it.
I like mostly alternative and some punk bands like Red Hot Chili Peppers, Incubus, Sparta, Rise Against, Ok Go, Hinder..and some older bands like GNR, Led Zep, and Skynard.
And like I said, I like Fall Out Boy when they aren't live, but I really don't like their live preformances. Also, I dislike the live music of Panic! At the Disco as well.
But have a good time, its all about the experience.
@Alacar: Nice work on the job! I have yet to hear back from my summer camp job... I should also apply to an internship at either The Daily Show or The Colbert Report. I'm sure that they're hard to get, but they're relevant to my field of study.
Just finished my workout and I'm going to watch some sports show, then have dinner, then shower, then have fun for the rest of the night.
Kevin- I always call you Kevin because I guess I can't imagine you anyone besides Kevin .. I hope that doesnt' bother you too much....
Shadowfox, that's perfectly understandable.. I DO want to visit England someday so I want to be able to see you if I do, deal?? And Sephy, if you could come, that would be... just wow, amazing But again, if you don't, that's fine too heh

Well I am going to head out with my friend for a few hours tonight. I will be back later tonight sometime though. See you all soon and take care everyone! *hugs and blows kisses to everyone*
Stuck at work, for now, procrastinating for now, but officially working on my talk slides for tomorrow.
Lots of cutting, pasting, thinking about what I'm gonna say.

Hey there, coffeehouse. I decided to post this, as this will be my last post here or on the forum.
After some unfortunate events, I realize I really do have to quit playing magic. It has been a blast for the many years that I have played, but I have to move on to other things ( well, I am actually moving over to the Spoils TCG), so I wanted to personally thank anyone I have traded with, talked with, chilled with and what not. I am gonna miss all the pre-releases, release events, Grand Prixs, Pro Tours, and the commraderie in general. If anyone ever wants to find me, i am on myspace ( www.myspace.com/ominyo), and over at The Spoils community forum ( www.thespoils.com).
So, once again, thanks for everything guys and girls, have an awesome time playing, and enjoy what I know is going to be an incredible Block Constructed season. Love you all!

What a great taste in music there man. A lotta love for the harder stuff. I like that. I do I do
Sorry you're leaving, 2. You don't have to play Magic to stay, you know. I don't play much anymore, if at all, and I think other members here are the same. The coffeehouse, at the very least, is a community for people, not just players. So I hope you reconsider staying.
Nai does your banner change like every day? Every time I turn on the computer I see the same fox with a flute but a different and equally nice banner. How do you have the time to make so many?
On Music: Isn't it all a matter of taste, anyway? Music arguments bug me, particularly when people start slinging judgments on each others' tastes. For example, I like video game music, classical fusion, and Russian and Japanese pop songs. I don't really care how cool they are, or how good they are, or how "indie" or original it all is, I just like it. The sounds are pleasing to my ears. Isn't that really what music is supposed to be about?
It may be late, but may I give you props, sir? You definitely just hit the nail on the head.
So, once again, thanks for everything guys and girls, have an awesome time playing, and enjoy what I know is going to be an incredible Block Constructed season. Love you all!
Aw, man. I may not know you, hardly at all, but it's always sad to see a forum member leave.
And ya know, if you wanna come back to these boards to hang out, I could give you a long list of people who don't play magic yet still post on this board.
@Life: Well, it's been a rough one for me the past couple of days. I came down with an awful cold, and every morning, it feels like I've been sleeping with 10 textbooks on my head. I took my temp. a couple of times, but it just lately came up as 97.6 F. Sleeping doesn't seem to be working, so I don't know how it will end up.
*btw, I know it'll end up fine, but these cold sickness blues always make me post like this. :p*
@Alacar: Congrats on the job, dude. About time. You've been talkin' about interviews for a LONG time.
@Danica: I will supress my flames against Clinton, and instead say that that's pretty cool. Wish I could come up there, but my parents wouldn't let me, and I've got a lot going on in the next year or so. I can just tell.
@Music: I hope I don't have to express my musical interests. That would take way too long. I'll just say I like everything, and leave it at that. The only exceptions are some newer country stars, and bands similar to SoaD.
Sorry for not posting in a good while, but I'll get better about it...I hope.
Yeah i hope you reconsider staying as well 2QT. I definetly don't play legacy competitively not as nearly as much as i used to but so far i haven't played in a big legacy tournament for more then a year. I will hope to see you in here soon because you are great member to be around in the coffeehouse. I still sometimes play a little with my friends though but not that much. I also enjoy playing magic with mamelon and crimson avatar on mws both of them are very worthy opponents in my mind.
It's actually not mine at all. I asked the Avatar/Banner forum to submit some for the Colosseum to advertise it. It's got a 'rotating script', which I didn't make. I just asked someone if they could host it because I couldn't pick just one out of all of them, since they all rocked so hard. It SHOULD change about once every refresh. Though, the guy that's hosting it might have changed it to cut back on bandwidth, which I don't mind in the slightest.
Unfortunately, or perhaps fortunately if you see it that way, I'm going to be changing the banner, perhaps permanently, depending on the future. Still an 'advertisement' for the Colo, but a little less abstract.
And now I leave for a 2 hour and 45 minute-long class for learning how to be a teacher. I expect to be very bored for a while, like I was in math. (Proficiency Skill tests, anyone? I couldn't remember the equation for the area of a cylinder. I tried a=H(pi)r(squared), augmenting the area of a circle, but I think I got that wrong. Blah.)

Terrence you copycat :-P Giving up magic is easy guys. Here in Texas magic is teh suck. It might go up in the next few years but all in all it's a really crappy state to be in for magic. I mean population-wise we have a LOT of players but that spans over vast expanses of territory. The player quality is fair but the personalities range from diva to Diana Ross. (That's an upward jump btw)
Some people can be fun, in fact I'm missing a lot of them already, but a lot of them are too arrogant and a lot of the great people are reclusive and play casual and group magic. You'd not know they existed were it not for the rare prerelease spotting. It's not a healthy environment for Magic here and it becomes less and less enjoyable with each passing moment.
Terrence I'm glad you're out. Hope you enjoy the spoils. We can always go to the comic book store from time to time to oogle hot nerds
Hey Coffeepeople! I'm back from the dentist, and ugh. They had to drill off the top of my bottom right front tooth (it was chipped) and then add a capping onto it to make it even. It feels really weird, and I wasn't a fan of them drilling on my numbed mouth.
Omna: Yeah.. I said it. What ya gonna do? It's all true you know. Arguas is the one that told me. And I've got pictures to prove it.

No! Come back, 2QT! You can still be on MTGS! You can still talk about Magic and play on MWS!

Everyone else is about right about not having to play Magic to stay. Especially if it's a monetary issue as there's always MWS/Netdraft. In any case I hope you find The Spoils fun.
I can definitely understand the monetary issue lately. I wanted to buy the last Avatar of Woe I need for my BR deck today at this shop in Plattsburgh only to find they didn't actually have any in shop and the one guy who was willing to sell his wanted me to pay 15 dollars for it because that's some price guide's price (I honestly wouldn't pay more than 10 - and that's only cause its the last one).
As for where I have been the last few days - its been nowhere else really. I just haven't felt like posting. I think I'm just swingy like that...
Hey guys! How is everyone today? I'm pretty happy, considering I have no homework today and tomorrow is Friday. And my English essay's due date got moved up a week.
Oh yeah, and this is my 1000th POST!!!!!!:dance::dance::dance::dance:
Yeah, so, that's pretty much it :D. Thanks to the Coffeehouse, which helped me get at least a quarter of my posts. Oh, and I'll put up my custom soon. When it's up, tell me what you guys think of it.
EDIT: Ahhh!!! I can't figure out how to do the custom user title. Am I just missing it, or is it no activated yet?
Whee! Hey Coffeehouse... you are now looking at Alacar Leoricar, Working Man Because I finally got a JOB! :dances: I can't believe it! It's not much but it's a job nonetheless!
Oh really? Well then, it is merely hearsay that you are in need of congratulatory accolades? Anyhoo, congratulations on finding a job.

Hrm, quoted for veracity, at best; futile expanding on that perfect notion, at worst.:)
Isn't that really what music is supposed to be about?
Pretty much.
I'm in a really irritable mood today. I have this ONE little thing to get done before 2PM when I get off. I've been working on it since Tuesday afternoon, and have been stuck playing phone tag and awaiting callbacks just to get it finished. I REALLY want it done before 1PM, but it looks like that isn't happening, and it makes me absolutely crazy. I literally spent 2 hours going between voicemails and being kept on hold this morning, and now I'm doing it again, and it pisses me off. Grrr.
I hope the matter of your perceptible bile is resolved, and that you feel better, Photon.
@Magic mage: aww don't sweat it too much jen! My name in the coffeehouse and natural 20 you can call me Cecilia while when you talk to me on aol messenger or msn you can call me Kevin. *hugs magic mage*
Okay, thanks for explaining it, then.

@blue: good to see you around again dear friend.
Where, where, where? Micah's back? Yay.:) Good to see him again.
Jen.. I may be deaf, but I can certainly hold an intelligent conversation so I would hope that knowing this new fact about myself will not make you change.
Why of course, yes, indeed you can certainly hold a intelligent conversation. Nothing has changed; nothing will change.:) Discrimination on grounds of ability or lack thereof is more or less unlawful, and meaningless; thus, no-one should hold the necessity to do so ... oh wait, then there's the human condition.

Well, good luck on the predecessor of your most important year at school, Charlie.

Hey there, coffeehouse. I decided to post this, as this will be my last post here or on the forum.
Oh, but why? Please, unless it's absolutely necessary, you could always cut back on your activity but drop in from time to time... Surely, no?

Oh, that's a shame. If that's the only ground for leaving, you could always stay to discuss matters here, without playing Magic, yea? I am sure that while there are other rationales, you could do that...
So, once again, thanks for everything guys and girls, have an awesome time playing, and enjoy what I know is going to be an incredible Block Constructed season. Love you all!
That's truly a shame, as you've been, and are, quite a member, 2QTBSTR8.
Good luck with your future endeavours, and I wish you the best. I'm sorry to hear about your conceivable departure, but won't you reconsider staying?

Sometimes I question [rather depressive] notions such as why are here (aside for the delightfully pleasant people, of course), what we actually do in life, and just how this fits in with our livelihoods.

I want to thank R&Doom for my signature. Thanks a lot!
What a great taste in music there man. A lotta love for the harder stuff. I like that. I do I do
There's snow watch in NY? Maybe up near albany or buffalo, down here we havent seen more than 1/2 inch all year, at best. Its very saddening
My helpdesk should you need me.
It may be late, but may I give you props, sir? You definitely just hit the nail on the head.
Love,
Cecilia
Unfortunately, or perhaps fortunately if you see it that way, I'm going to be changing the banner, perhaps permanently, depending on the future. Still an 'advertisement' for the Colo, but a little less abstract.
And now I leave for a 2 hour and 45 minute-long class for learning how to be a teacher. I expect to be very bored for a while, like I was in math. (Proficiency Skill tests, anyone? I couldn't remember the equation for the area of a cylinder. I tried a=H(pi)r(squared), augmenting the area of a circle, but I think I got that wrong. Blah.)
See ya'll in a few hours.
My helpdesk should you need me.

Hrm, quoted for veracity, at best; futile expanding on that perfect notion, at worst.:)
Pretty much.
I hope the matter of your perceptible bile is resolved, and that you feel better, Photon.
I am still taken aback by your being Greg Krajenta. To be frank, I am bowled over by the identities of the people amidst us all.
Okay, thanks for explaining it, then.
*Hugs kevinliu2333*
Where, where, where? Micah's back? Yay.:) Good to see him again.
Good sir, I shall check out your music, and those of others, who have similarly superior palates.:p
I don't know why, but I dislike Lily Allen's faux-cockneyness.
Well, good luck on the predecessor of your most important year at school, Charlie.
You too... but I'm...
Edit: Congratulations, strongbad.
