Wow, its a table tennis match between dating advise and psychological analysis of human reaction...... Dizzying:gaping:. If i had any date experience i would help but i don't know what to say. As for the latter, its one of the taboo subjects for me, not that i am uneducated in the matter or have my own opinions, it just a subject i leave to college papers or Thanksgiving dinner, when my family abruptly forgets i'm gay...or try to set me up with women( ugh, ewww :mad1: :rollout:)
BTW, this past sunday we had a professional pageant held at my regular bar, and it was INTENSE. The winner was a performer named September Murphy, a regular in Detroit who came to Grand Rapids to compete. Its shows like these those that make me work harder to improve my skills in the craft.
On a side not, we got our first snow on the 1st, and i already sculpted a statue ( a mermaid w/ blond hair ) and when we receive so more easily worked snow i will be making a standing snow angel statue. I know its a lil childish but i love to create art, whether it be sculpted clay, painted, or sketched.
Lol we got our first snow here in Texas last week but it didn't stick. It's rather cold for texas right now but I'd be surprised if we got anymore snow anytime soon.
Allright well i'm still going to wait until tomorrow to say anything to him because right now i'm actually drinking for the first time in moooonths. (Yeah i've had a birthday in between then and now. I dunno. i fail at drink apparently.)
And as the bacardi slips through my veins i know I'll become less and less coherent. So i guess i should just go play Smash brothers and laugh my ass off.
Thanks for the advice guys.
Anna: Yeah some drag performers around here are really good. They're always performing in the Rose Room and some can just be really good at lip synching but some are also really funny. I get kind of tired of the one that's funny, knows she's funny, then shows that she knows she's funny and stops trying....cuz that's when it stops being funny.

I feel bad for guys sometimes, I really do. Women can be such *****es and it's not fair. Especially when it's the girl being a ***** to a nice guy.
We had a blizzard [literally] on the first...it's been snowing on and off ever since. Who wants a foot and a half of snow?!
umm....let's see. I got my hand slammed in between two dressers last night. my hand isn't broken, but it must be damn close, considering I can't hold a pen or anything...oh well. i'll live.
21 days until I get to go home. Classes are almost over for the semester, another week or so...then exams. woo? :/
Yep. I'm done, haha. gonna go put some ice on my hand, to try and knock down some swelling.

Okay, so you kids be good. I'll be away for a week (I'm moving ..... again ..... some more), so try to have some stories for me when I get back.
I'm certainly working on it Mike. There's lots I haven't shared here yet and next week I'll be in houston and there's know telling what kind of mischeif I'll get into when there's nothing but strangers around (and a gay guy and a girlfriend of a friend that I know that live there, she's my friend too but I don't get to hang out with her ever so it's basically friend by proxy.)
Anyway, I went out with my mom today as an early birthday celebration. It went really well, considering I haven't visited her for nearly a year, so I'm very glad.
Ack, winter is awesome but sucks (stupid pneumonia)
Oh my gawd! No posts for two days! WHAT THE HELL?
I agree, this is odd. Is everyone sick? or just "busy"
On a side not, we got our first snow on the 1st, and i already sculpted a statue ( a mermaid w/ blond hair )
It's been snowing here on and off for the past week or so. BTW, how did you manage to pull off a blond-haired snow mermaid

I have had one absolutely positively amazing PE teacher who was really nice and kind. He didn't think less of me (or at least I got that impression) because I was bad at sports, and he would always reply to me if I said "have a nice weekend" and was, in general, very friendly. I passed him on Sunday and it was great.
I had a similar one in high school for about a semester. She was super nice and me and my friends would always talk to her. She could not stand the "hard ass" gym teacher at the school (he happened to be her former gym teacher), so we would always get him in trouble by telling her that he yelled at us or some other things that were semi-true :p. I hated the guy, but I have to admit, he was hawt.
I get my bass in two days! I've always wanted to learn an instrument, but I never had the random extra money until I took this year off from school to work full time.

Well, i put some yellow food coloring in a spray bottle with water.....hey wait a minute, you weren't thinking.....nevermind, i walked into that one...
But really, food color and water is all i used, all artificial color, as nature intended...
Tuatha, Happy (early or late or ontime, which ever applies) Birthday!
Happy Belated
sorry about my absence of late...
too busy playing resistance
i camped for the bloody PS3 last thursday for 18 hours...
it got to about -15ish with windchill... i was the first inline and PurpleD came to hang out...
there was 54 consoles (24 wii's, 12 60G PS3's and 18 20G PS3's).
no one read the sign, so by the end of the night at around 6:30 (still two hours before opening) there were about 175ish people (tried to count... more came and a few left)
so many were quite dissapointed...
I waited for the Wii when it was released, but didn't get one.
My boyfriend asked why I don't just ask for one for X-mas. I said because it would be expensive and hard to find. I told him I was just going to wait until after X-mas to get one (when they should be everywhere). He's going to try and get me one, I hope he can.:D
Not to mention, feeling icky, 'cause I changed meds and my body is freaking out about it, haha.
I think I'd rather have a PS3 over a Wii. But I haven't played either, or even seen either, so I suppose that's kind of an uninformed opinion. Oh well!
One more week, and then the semester's done. Thaaaank Jebus.
Next semester I have survey of math, intro to criminal justice, stage lighting, and fundamentals of music. Woo!
Hmmm...what else. All the snow we had is melted. Between wamer days and rain, there's not a spot of snow left on campus. Which means no more icy parking lot, which makes Jo very happy.
I think that's about it. Gonna go watch tv now.

This little gem posted at the Coffeehouse cracked me up, so I thought I'd share.
Is everyone having a gay holiday? Here's a fun topic: Christmas songs that have the word "gay" in the lyrics.
Greg, from the lack of responses surely you can tell we're all dead inside :-P
Do any of you talk to people online and then meet them in person and they're completely different? I had been talking to a guy for a while (since early november) and he was really energetic on the phone. He was also that way every time since then when I talked to him unless he was tired. He's a good friend of a friend and we all got together last week to hang out and it's like his entire demeanor was different. No energy whatsoever. There were bursts of it so I know it's there but it's like he was holding back for whatever reason.
Am I missing something?
Anyways to compensate I bought new shoes *nod*.
Unfortunately I also watched Eragon. *sigh*. Could have been better by a LONG shot.
So my director got a Wii a couple of weekends ago pretty arbitrarily. We decided to get him some nifty stuff for Christmas. Turns out that a 1GB memory card for the freakin' Wii is 60$ at EB. Despite the over-paying red flags that went up in my head, we got him that, Excite Truck, Metal Slug Anthology, and a few accessories, like some silicone covers for his wiimotes so that he doesn't break any tv's like a crazy person.
Sweet Jesus people. I was gone for two weeks and not even a page has gone by. I'm very saddened by that. Though that is tempered somewhat by the aching joy of having the internet back.
I'd agree, but the sheer number of things I have to get caught up on makes me hesitate.
Welcome back!!!!
How was the move? Care to explain now?
Yeah, my friends I was staying with asked me to leave. And me being me, I was eager to not overstay my welcome. Move was easy considering all I own consists of two full suitcases and a laptop. I just took a cab over to my new place.

I'm going to Sicily to visit my sister with the rest of my family. *shrug* I'd rather stay home, I hate traveling over Christmas.
I concur, but still, Italy. Got me beat. I'm skipping any sort of tradition this year. No presents, no family, no friends. There's supposedly a huge rager that night at a coworker's place, I think I'll just sleep in Christmas Day then head over to the party and get wrecked.
I'll be going to France on Boxing Day. Otherwise, I've still got all-but-one of my Christmahanukwanzakah presents to buy.
My genius idea this year was to not buy a single gift, and I accomplished my goal. The only gift I gave this year was $50 in a new account set up in my nephew's name. Everyone else is getting squat. Suckers.
Anyhoo, how's you?
I'm pretty good. Being on my own again has done a lot for my temperment. Feeling like a useless freeloader unable to take care of himself went a long way to me embracing the moody bastard parts of life.
Are you still interested in hearing those stories you wanted all of us to have collocated, as I've got quite a few things I could moan/rant/boast about... ?
