@Alien: Let's start discussing on any and all dragons. Must Acquire! My wifey loves her some dragons. Also.....how did you get an Eye of Ugin in Hangul? They didn't print Rise of Eldrazi in it..........
@Alcohol: Don't drink, love a little taste of it in foods. I like some beer in chili, red wine sauces are delicious with pork, and sake is required in Japanese cooking. Rice wine vinegar just doesn't cut it.
@Clan of the Year: This year is very contentious.....It's too bad we can't just say "Co-clans." Ties are just fine. :/
@Languages: I like to pretend I speak German decently well. I can converse and get around just fine with minimal issues if I had to, but I'd need a dictionary occasionally. I spent two summers over there in 2000/2001, but I've been out of practice until about September of last year. I've also had a little French, Russian, Turkish, Korean, Mandarin, and Japanese. Just enough that I can remember tiny bits and some pronunciation, but not enough to function at all.
@Stardust: Haven't checked your list, but I'll see what I can do a little bit later.
@Dragon: Yay!
@Al: I've never had the chance to wear a bow-tie. Sadly, I think I'd probably look really silly in one, regardless. Still, that Dr. Who one rocks. Love the TARDIS.
@Zith: Maybe you can help me on this one, oh shaving guru. I get some really bad razor burn and ingrown hairs when I use a regular straight razor...any ideas to lessen it at all?

Oh, Stardust, are you in luck.....Kamigawa was one of my most active times in Magic. Just sweeping over things, I might have a good chunk of stuff that you need. Or can acquire pretty quickly. Running tournaments means I see a bunch of cards really fast. Do you have a have/want list?
I also noticed that there's a lack of Portal 3 Kingdoms cards in there as well....just to prohibitive? Or just want to stick to real life storyline?

Basically, if you like the signature it's worth more. If you don't, it's worth less.
Thanks, after reading through the thread I checked on Ebay for them. The closed auctions show that they go for pretty much the same as a non-signed one, maybe a few bucks more.
@Alien: Are any of those cards up for trades? Because I am extremely interested in that Hangul Garruk.
Most are up for trade, but I'm not sure about the Garruk, Geist of Saint Trafts, or the Foil Champion of the Parish. It would all depend on the offer, I guess.

Abo****ely man, that's why I picked up the Flameblast and the Volcanic, I know you said you'd be interested in Dragons. If you want to hold off till the end of the month, I plan on carrying my trade binder down to the pre-release and seeing what I can get ahold of from the other players there. I'll keep my eye out for any other dragons I can find. Would you want multiples of the same dragon, or just one each of whatever I can find? And for the Eye of Ugin, it didn't even occur to me. I looked a bit more closely at it, compared to the Hangul cards I have, and it is definitely different. It must be Chinese or Japanese.

@Kank: I guess I should be more explanatory. I've got a bunch of those cards, but I need to know what he possibly has that I would be interested in for trading. I was asking if he had a list of OTHER cards for trade. I don't have any huge wants off the top of my head. Well, any that are easily obtainable. Except for looking for a Crucible of Worlds.
Supa Ninja Lightning Edit: I just want two copies (Regular and Foil). I'm also super interested in other foreign language dragons. I've got most of the English the ones in English regular and foil. However, I've The Invasion Legendary Cycle in Simplified Chinese, and a couple of random ones in others, so most of the other dragons in other languages are tradeable to me. We can work out a deal in PM then.

...I don't know how to read any of those languages, but there should be visible differences between them. (And Eye of Ugin was Worldwake, not Rise. But then again, it would still be weird if one of them got printed and one didn't though.)
(On some humor site someone showed me, Chinese looks "big and scary", Japanese looks "not big and scary", and Korean "has lots of circles".)
Still impatiently waiting for: [Soundtrack]'s decision on the contest.

Roger that. I will pick up whatever Dragons I can find then, not to exceed one foil and one regular of each, when I go down for the pre-release. I also might do a FNM every now and then down there. If they do any dragon promos in the future, I'll definitely grab up those too.
Well, out of those options, this one looks "not big and scary", so I guess it would be Japanese, lol.
I guess you have your answer then!
Anyways, as a fun activity we've been doing at our house... some of us tried to draw a clownfish. Can you guess which one's mine?
(Not all of us tried our best.)
Wine!: I drink mostly reds, and mostly by the glass at restaurants. I'm finding my tastes drawn to lighter, nosy wines - though an incredible syrah I had three years ago remains my favourite - which is unfortunate, since American wines flock to a bigger, bolder, more alcoholic style. (I'm generally having it to complement my meal.)
On Gewurtz, I once had some juice as would normally be turned into wine, and can't imagine wanting to alter it. So deliciously sweet...
Other alcohol: I've had some beers, a few spirits, and a couple mixed drinks. There are beers out there that work for me, but mostly I find it's just not worth the effort. I'm on the fence about mixed drinks; since I'm not interested in ever getting drunk, each element has to contribute meaningful flavour or I feel like it's just a waste. As for spirits, there are some wonderful brandies out there, big fan of great calvados, and I could get to appreciate fine whiskeys.
Shaving!: The first things to look at are your razor and your soap/cream. Is your razor well honed? Are you stropping it well? Do you get a good cushion of lather out of your soap or cream? Next up is the shaving technique itself. Shaving only with, or when necessary across, the grain will irritate less, and one should never shave against the grain on the first pass. Be sure to get to know the proper angle of attack (typically 30° with the grain, 15° across, and 5° against, but it'll vary). And it's good to practice as light a touch as will still remove hair - it's amazing how little pressure it takes. After that, there are pre-shave oils (and non-oil alternatives) to help lubricate, and balms and such to soothe post-shave. Oh, and the big one for me: I try as much as I can to only ever shave immediately after a hot shower. You can also experiment with cold water after a hot soak; some report an improved shave due to stiff, brittle hairs after a cold splash.
I could get more specific with more detail on your routine, but I'm also not much of an expert or anything. I'm just a year and a half in, and only know what I've read and what I've found works for me.

My anecdotal evidence disagrees with yours! EXPLAIN THAT!
Got moved back to college, and general merriment with friends was had, including going to a BattleTech center, which was awesome. They have you make up a call-sign so I, of course, went with Thresh.
As a result though, I disappeared from the forums for two days, but I'm glad to be back, and doubly glad that classes start tomorrow on one of my easy days, with only 4 hours in the morning and done at 1:30pm.
Sooooooo, tomorrow is my oral exam. I just signed a short-term labor contract. This weekend some friends and I are making first plans for a vacation together. Still searching for an apartment. Definitely wanting a new tattoo this year.
Despite all of that, I have a very bitter mood the last couple of days. I swear, if somebody steps on my toe at work, I'll rip their head off. Literally.
@DKA: Wow. Some of the spoilers so far are great. Love that there are a few more multicolors this time. I see great potential to craft a new deck with the cards^^
Slavan, thanks for looking into it! Rianalannan PM'd me about it too, so I'll try to get a list up sometime in the next little while. I was saying to him too that I'm very cheap, so in order to justify the shipping cost it would probably have to be a bigger trade (like, $30 or something). I'll get in touch with you when and if I get it up.
Since you mentioned Crucible, thought I'd share an alter I did a while back for my brother's birthday. Probably among the best I've ever done in my opinion.
Anyways, as a fun activity we've been doing at our house... some of us tried to draw a clownfish. Can you guess which one's mine?
(Not all of us tried our best.)
That's pretty fun. I'm pretty sure yours is top-right.
@Stardust: That alter is epic awesome.
@Aurora: Yeah, that was my first guess.
@SWTOR: I have reached the level of Sith Lord and I have my own apprentice now (she used to be a Jedi Padawan, but I turned her to the dark side with my awesome Sith powers).
@misc crafts: I need to purchase another eraser to do more alters. Magic Rub. Accept no substitutes (I tried, they didn't work as well). Haven't worked on the dragon wings since Sunday, but I know what I need to do, which is better than still being confused.

Having a plan for what you're knitting is always good.
PS. If you're in New York City, inside a courtroom, and you're on jury duty, do not knit; it is illegal to do that while on jury duty in NYC.
