Yeah, I was Vash the Stampede in my previous MTGsally carnation. But some stuff was happening and I ended up having to sell my entire collection in order to pay my rent so I am back with a new name to lurk the forums and get my mtg fix. LOL

We have a Scribe visiting? Hi there!

Anyways... I should record myself at the piano sometime (probably something simple like the Split Leaps etude, which I just recently modified again). And I need to write lyrics as well.

I have been a little bit crafty lately. Mostly I did artwork for a friend for his album. Now I will proceed to do shameless advertizing. You can choose to pay $0 for it though, so I'm not sure how for-profit this is. It isn't even my album. Hello again so since quitting the game, i have had the unnerving desire to play with magic artwork so i have been making collages and signatures. The one below i did on a whim. I believe this qualifies me back into the arms of you crafter folks lol. In other news, thanks to all who said Hi, it's nice to be back with a computer... and a building to stay in... and you know, electricity... kinda missed these things. My bout of homelessnes is luckily behind me now.

Also, the thread title... should i be getting handcuffs out or something?

Manacles are a bit cliche, don't you think? At [The Crafters], creative implementation of improvised devices is paramount.

Just found out something rather amusing, the initial draft of Conspiracy at LGS #1 (which I skipped)
actually took 2.5 hours to DRAFT!! and they only had time for one round of 4 free for all pods.

Ahhhhhhh... Missing Cali these days, especially with my Oakland A's doing so well. Was watching their
games vs. the Texas Rangers and somehow missing the cold California Summers hehe.

If people don't know what they're doing and have never seen the cards, then it takes forever to draft Conspiracy. And you're only suppose to play one round after you draft anyway. I did something really mean to some players the last couple times I Conspiracy drafted. I literally conspired before hand with my friend that after the draft if we ended up in the same 4 man pod, we'd team up against the other 2 players and crush them, then split the prize. We did so and it was amusing... for us at least...

Let's just say best not let Dack Fayden get ahold of that one. Who knows what kind of stories that hat will tell him.

2.5 to play out the game: understandable. 2.5 to DRAFT?: Some thing's wrong there.

Conspiracy drafts: Two hours seems extremely long...

We had an in-house draft once. One person first-picked a Cogwork Grinder... and then proceeded to put 22 cards under it. He ended up not having a good enough deck, so we let him take two cards back, so the creature's still 20/20.

Yeah, the Cogwork Grinder can be hard to work with. Sure, you can remove the bad cards that come near the end of the pack, especially the off-color cards that you can't use... but the fact that some "bad" cards are supposed to be useful simply due to the fact that you can get multiples of them more easily makes it hard to decide what's really useless for you. As for the one that our group had to deal with... he stuck Stifle, Edric, Spymaster of Trest, and several other powerful cards of other colors like that under there (he played WB).

And... wait... people think I'm a gymnast? Where did that idea ever come from? I would've thought Abby was more of a gymnast than I am.

Sure, but I hardly have the skills of a gymnast. I can't do a handstand, and I keep getting scared of falling over when I try.

@Lord Grey: You mentioned that there were "some" gymnasts - which doesn't necessarily imply more than one, but are there others?

(And yes, I do have real-life friends who find doing these jumps fun to do. I know it may sound totally out of this world for some of you, but it is true.)



And finally... a quiz. Not the "two words that are one step away" one I mentioned a while back, but something quite different. (Not a music quiz either.)

Like most places (I guess), the card shops in Fresno throw Conspiracy drafts whenever 8 people who want to play gather... And Zephy has disappeared off the radar again. Apparently he got rid of his phone which is why he hasn't been replying to texts... And I was hoping to Conspiracy draft with him too... oh well...
