I'm also a big fan of all ID software's old arena shooters. They just don't make unrealistic shooters like they used to.
That's the truth. I wish we got more crazy, wacky shooters rather than COD 15 and its imitators.
Serious Sam was a pretty good game along those lines. The last one I played was on the Xbox/Gamecube. I'm unsure if they ever made more. Fun game if you haven't played it though.
I am trying to get better at making decks. I have had trouble creating more competitive decks as I only really build with the cards I have. I dont have that many value cards, in function or expense. I (almost) never play at FNM type events so its not like im playing against $2k decks. If I do usally play at one, Its a draft or limited game. Any advice on building decks is greatly supported! DMs are appreciated.
Thank you!
To put it more simply, it's like saying, "I can prove Jesus is real and loves you. See? Here's my Hispanic friend Jesus. He's had a crush on you for a long time. Tell em' Jesus."
Here's a joke! Whats the internal temperature of a Taun-Taun?
Deus Ex in stealth mode was awesome. I also enjoy every other season of Path of Exile, Dawn of War II, Xcom and Darkest Dungeon (despite the occasional wish to flip a table because RNG).
Rise of Nations (PC)
Empire Earth (PC)
One Must Fall (DOS/PC)
Utopia (SNES)
Rock & Roll Racing (SNES)
Final Fantasy IV (FF2 U.S. Version) (SNES)
Chronotrigger (SNES)
Streets of Rage 3 (Sega Genesis)
Halo 2 (Xbox)
Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory (Xbox)
Fallout 3 (Xbox 360)
Deus Ex: Human Revolution (Xbox 360)
I don't often rank the stuff I like in absolute terms but I've been playing lots of Splatoon, Advance Wars and League of Legends recently. Gotta love brightly coloured team-games.

World of Warcraft. Vanilla and TBC era. Please feel free to frown on my choice. I was actually tempted to reactivate my account so that I can go fishing and feed my pet with all the fish. I miss the constantly dropping loyalty system that requires you to keep feeding it. And I miss my arrows. I have never asked for a bigger bag slots. Why did they take away my arrows?
Popolocrois II. For those who don't know this one (which probably is everyone), it is a really cute-sey JRPG on PS. Wish I could play it again.
"Not Tetris 2" from Stabyourself (free game if you want to try it) never fails to amuse me for a bit. Also, Oblivion is one of the funniest games ever.
Also, to all the people naming Far Cry games, have you heard of Far Cry: Instincts? It's sort of a spin-off where part way through the game, you get captured and turned into an experimental mutant with superhuman strength and speed. I actually didn't even realize it was a spin-off until half way through Far Cry 2 and I'm thinking, when am I getting my feral powers?
It's actually a really good game, too, it's definitely my favorite of the Far Cry games I've played.
My all time favourite would have to be the Monster Hunter series, absolutely love that!
Mass Effect, Halo (up to 3), Gears of War, Bomberman (Pre 64), and Powerstone 2 would have to be my most memorable games.
I am a big fan of indie games.
My favorite games are the Vanishing of Ethan Carter (this unhurried colorful adventure captured my imagination) and Darkwood (the best horror story of last years with unexpected final, I guess).
There are a lot of games I could list, but one that really stands out at the moment is Monster Boy. As a child I played all the Wonder Boy games, so along with the game itself being incredibly good, being so strongly tied to my childhood makes it even better.
I also really love the original Diablo. I had some fun with the others, but the first one will always be my favourite.
I know this is like, late. But currently I’m really liking Assasin’s Creed Valhalla. It’s so buggy, but I think it’s the best in the franchise. And of course Animal Crossing New Horizons.
Favorite game of all time, I'd say Guild Wars. It has such beautiful art style, fun exploration of the map, great quest line and thrilling PvP arenas. Was a nice mix of MMO (in towns) and cooperative gameplay RPG.
Other games I really enjoyed on PC:
Knight Online (my first MMORPG),
Rappelz (a free-to-play MMORPG),
WarRock (8 to 64 players f2p Battlefield clone),
Gunbound (similar to Worms games),
Rakion (PvP arena with an archer, knight, mage, ninja and warrior),
League of Legends (support or mid usually),
...
Obviously this is going to be a personal choice, but I would have to hand the title to Turok 2: Seeds of Evil. Not the most polished game out there, and the plot vaccilates between preposterous pulp nonsense to non-existence. But when I was a kid and had just gotten a '64 for Christmas that game was the one I enjoyed the most.
Nowadays I almost never take up shooters, and I despise online multiplayer anything, but I definitely can get down on anything that looks like it's got a lot of cool ideas, and I'm not part of the market for pre-release sales. I really enjoyed Journey to the Savage Planet and Greedfall from a year or so ago. City builders are nice "comfort-zone" games for me, and of course Fromsoft's stable might be single-handedly raising my blood-pressure into 'at risk' territory. Weirdly enough some of the games I've enjoyed the most over the last few years have had complete jank combat i.e. The Sinking City.
