I'm mostly a beer guy, and for me it's usually a Leinenkugel's Hefeweizen.
Honorable mentions to the following: Kona Longboard, Kona Fire Rock, Tsingtao, Schlafly's Pale Ale, Primo, Sapporo, Old Rasputin, Tactical Nuclear Penguin, Yuengling, Pabst Blue Ribbon, Bass, Newcastle Brown Ale, Maui Bikini Blonde, Coors, Blue Moon, Sam Adams Oktoberfest, Red Stripe, Molson Ice, Paulaner, Dommelsch, Augustiner, Erdinger, Grafenwalder, Grain Belt, Old Milwaukee, and a few others I forget.
Bonus points for Alcoholic beverages. Negative points for Natty Ice and the like.
I'm currently drinking: XXXXX
how is it? I saw that today and wanted to grab a bomber, but I am not really a fan of Honey, Maple, etc added to my beer. It just tastes like rancid pancakes. Their Hairy Eyeball showed up at the grocery stores here about a week ago and was happy to see that stuff show up, but... Brown Sugar... ew.... maybe?
Wow, I've never met anyone else who likes gin and grapefruit juice.
Usually people just cringe at me, even when I settle for gin and orange juice when bars don't have grapefruit juice.
Nobody knows what a Salty Dog is? That was one of the drinks they taught me on day 1 as a bar tender.
Right now I am drinking a Green Flash Brewery hopped red ale. Recently, I had something a local brewery (Feckins Irish Ale) puts out and have been searching for heavy red dry-hopped ales. So far I feel like this is a good winter shift for an idiot hop head like myself.
Red Tail Ale. I like beers on this level of bitterness to have something else more than this does but that's just me.
So far my favorite alcohol is about a tie of 1554 and pretty much any cognac brandy I've tried. I recently had eggnog and grand marnier, man that was good.

I'm drinking a Summit Pilsener right now. I moved to Minnesota recently, and they're having a holiday sale on the twelve-packs. It's not bad, though it's not the greatest pilsner I've ever tasted.

Sing lustily and with good courage.
Be aware of singing as if you were half dead,
or half asleep:
but lift your voice with strength.
Be no more afraid of your voice now,
nor more ashamed of its being heard,
than when you sang the songs of Satan.

Oh no Lagunitas Sucks isn't brewed with brown sugar. It replaced a holiday release in 2011 because they didn't have the materials to brew their Brown Sugga' ale (which is very good. The brown sugar only amounts to a slight taste of caramel). Lagunitas sucks is pretty much a double IPA and is now a year round release because it was so successful.

Oh... well... add that to next week's "What are you Drinking" post.
(I always like to tell people that I can buy fresh Lagunitas at the gas stations here... I am so glad people here are beer snobs)

I don't inquire much into the alcoholic tastes of others, I suppose. A lot of people drink various vodkas (svedka being a popular choice due to a good price/smoothness ratio or something like that) and rums around here. Whiskey is popular too.
I think gin just isn't a big thing in Minnesota. It's one of those liquors that if I want it, I always have to buy it because my friends don't keep any around.

Shouldn't be too hard to find, however it was released a couple months ago
Just got my hands on six bottle of The Abyss a few days ago. I want to cellar most of them but I'll be cracking one open tomorrow. Is The Abyss easy to acquire in your area? I had to travel to a liquor store 2 hours away just to get mine.

I am in my office with two cups, one for water and one for tea. The tea is Roobois and English breakfast. The water is boiled; I only drink water from faucets when I can't help it.

The grocery stores all have Lagunitas Sucks but it just showed up last week. SO did Hairy Eyeball, so I'm not really sure what the local distributors are up to... whatever though.
I don't know if the Abyss is easy to get here. Deschutes is a local company and they have stuff everywhere so I sort of overlook most of it. I'm also not really a Stout buyer. I like them fine, but usually drink my own.
"No one may threaten or commit violence ('aggress') against another man's person or property. Violence may be employed only against the man who commits such violence; that is, only defensively against the aggressive violence of another. In short, no violence may be employed against a nonaggressor. Here is the fundamental rule from which can be deduced the entire corpus of libertarian theory." - Murray Rothbard, Cited from "War, Peace, and the State"
Peppermint tea which is really great. I'm about due for a tea medley, grab one bag of each of the flavors I have and dip them all, good stuff.

I have not heard it called that in a few decades. Had to teach the local bartender how to mix it.
I like the old Australian and New Zealand Mtn. Dew. I hate the new formula and, when in the States, US Mtn. Dew.
Is any of that really a good idea?
(You know, mixing stimulants and depressants. :rollout:)
As above, but with stimulants alone.
