its only annoying if you notice it.... if you are the one starring at someone, you wouldnt let the person catch you starring at him/her... right?
I don't make a habit of 'staring' at people, but if I have a weak moment and do, at least I understand that I'm the one doing it and it could potentially be viewed as rude or unwanted. Trying to blame someone else for my own staring isn't something that really enters my mind.
There is a difference between "appreciating beauty" and borderline standing in a puddle of your own drool for all to slip in. Being a convention goer, I've seen my share of scantily clad women being harassed by neckbeards who absolutely CANNOT control themselves nor make any effort to be nice about it.
I love a pretty girl, and don't mind a sexy cosplay or revealing outfit... but when a girl walks by and someone stops in their tracks, stares at them as they walk past, and then whip out a camera to take a picture of their ass as they walk away, even so far as holding up the crowd and walking into people's way to do so... it's pretty freaking lame. I've seen name calling and guys walk right up to a costumed girl and start grinding on them while buddies laughed and took videos. Nothing "you should feel honored, you're beautiful" about that.

exactly, those guys are annoying, they lead the misconception about appreciatting beauty between sexual harassment.
I dont want to argue anymore. its just unfair and i dont get it why women judge some harmless men and begin generalizing us if we stare at them.. just dont get it.

They stare at your chest, and then what? You get mad at them? if they dont know you why on Earth would they care if you dont like them now? The part they dont like is being called out on it because it makes things awkward and then they will typically get defensive.
And really... out in public there isnt much you can do about it.
There are things that I can do-ignore it or confront them. They look at my chest and I just move on. It's just part of society-there are creepy guys. But if the dude is slipping in his own pile of drool, I would call him out on it. "Dude, you're being creepy, most women don't appreciate that. It makes us feel scared and uncomfortable." I'm not a confrontational person, but if someone is making me feel scared or uncomfortable, I'm going to call them out on it, whether or not they get defensive. Most guys aren't going to stare for more than five seconds because most guys have more self-control than that. I go to a college and dress ****ty all the time. Guys don't stare. They have better things to do.
I dont want to argue anymore. its just unfair and i dont get it why women judge some harmless men and begin generalizing us if we stare at them.. just dont get it.
Here's the thing: it is socially unacceptable to stare at people, unless you are interacting with them. If I just started staring at some guy, he would probably wonder what was going on-does he have something in his teeth? did he spill something on himself? did he get something on his face? Why is this weird chick staring at him? Same for women-we don't like to be stared at, in general. There are exceptions, but that's the way it usually is.
I cannot stand the Walking Dead. Everyone calls me an idiot (or worse) but i just hate the show so much. I just feel that if zombies were to attack it would not be like that at all.

Sometimes you have to suspend disbelief to enjoy good fiction. If you assume the zombies would take over and cause an apocalypse (they wouldn't) then you can enjoy it. And alaykitty is right, the comics are much better than the show. Much, much, much better.

It was ok to start with, but about part way through season 2, it is sort of like very zombie occurence with idiot people.
Also, I don't know if you saw, they are not zombies in the romero sense where it is some supernatural force driving them to walk the earth.
Of cours the concept of zombies in general is ridiculous after the 1st year or so, because they would just decompose.
Lol. Agreed.

Gays, Homosexuals, and Transgender people.
How do you not "get" gay people? They're attracted to the same gender. What's not to get?
I don't get asking leading questions on political surveys. The survey makers know that will make their survey scientifically invalid, so why leading questions?

I get that, but what I really meant to ask was how gay people get sexually aroused like straight people do. We hardly ever see how homosexuals are like that in the media, do they just choose to not have sex and go to a sperm/egg donor to have kids or something?

Gay people have sex, and if a gay couple wanted a child there's the route of adopting, in vitro-fertilization and surrogacy (there might be other procedures I'm not aware of, but these seem to be the primary three). As for the first point, it's the same... like, by finding someone that appeals to their taste.

An LGBT person get aroused in the exact same way a straight person does. They see a person with the physical(and sometimes mental) attributes they desire and nature takes its course. Its as simple as that.
Sadly, more LGBT people than you'd think try to conform to the heteronormative life and so they have kids the normal way. I've met much fewer who have adopted or had in-vitro or a surrogate to have a kid.
I don't get gay as a trendy popularity contest. I wouldn't be surprised if young people started declaring they are gay just because its popular. I don't get why MTGS talks about gays more than our gay friends do (Which by this logic makes me cool and poplar btw, having gay friends to talk about and all. I should run for senator or direct a television series.)
I hang out with gay people and they talk about what a ****ty day they had at work, and how they want to quit their job and kill their manager. I hang out with straight people and they talk about gay rights.

Go figure.
The LGBT community talks about rights and stuff like that but generally only within the community. Mainly because most straight people are indifferent on LGBT issues and its easier to be yourself among peers.
Most rock music in general. Just about any stuff in modern hollywood movies that plays in end credits.
Why do you like it? It's loud and bad-sounding, and words are poorly articulated. No beatiful melody, no inspiring rhyhtm, just yelling and grinding. blergh!
What rock music are you even listening too? Sure there's crap out there, but rock is absolutely capable of inspiring rhythms, beautiful melodies and well-articulated lyrics. Most of the most successful and most popular musical acts of the past 70 years have been rock bands, and with good reason.
It pisses me off when chicks want to both to climb a pine tree and at the same time to not get their ass scratched. And when they do, they blame the pine tree.
If you dress like a ****, you WILL be looked at as a **** by default. Of course, that might be a joke, or a dress-up for specific case, cosplay, or job requirement (wink, wink). But if it is simple and pure non-acting incident, you get what you should get. PAY THE PRICE FOR YOUR CHOICES! Fair enough.
Women should be able to dress however they want without being sexually harassed. Dressing sexily is not an invitation and it's most definitely not fair when men do take it as an invitation.
Some other poster said it clearly, and I agree 100%, chicks who behave like that want attention, but only from 'profitable' men, those they like and try to attract. This is why that scoff at everyone else, and hypocritically get 'offended' at some guys, while happily giggling and trying to hook up with others.
I don't think it's wise to generalize the motivations of all women who dress a certain way. They don't all think or act the same way, and their reasons for dressing the way that they want and their reasons for reacting in different ways to boundary-crossing men are not universal.
Are there women who behave as you say? Undoubtedly so, yes. But not all women are the same and even if they were, that doesn't justify the inappropriate behavior of others.
I don't get political correctness. I am all for respecting each other, and whatnot, but I just don't get why I cannot use legitimate words in a certain context because it "might" be offensive to certain group of people. I find it hypocritical, and even worse than just not caring, because it is my opinion that if someone is putting extra effort into this, it means that deep down that person hates the group they're trying not to offend (or knows someone close to them who does).

Why would that be difficult to grasp? Even if the sex you're attracted to differs from the norm, the biology of arousal works the same way.
