How do you get around? Do you have a car, a bike, a skateboard, a segue, a unicycle, two cats you strap to your feet and dangle a toy mouse in front of? Do you walk everywhere? Do you use a subway or a train on a regular basis? What about a bus?
If you have vehicles/a vehicle, tell us about it! How long have you had it? Why did you pick it? Do you like it? (If not what would you like to have?) Do you share it with anyone?

I have a skateboard that I use to get around most places in the area. I would like a car, but cars are expensive =/

I have a 2005 Accord EX V6. I love it. Bought it used, came fully loaded. Its like having a luxury car without paying luxury prices (or insurance). Initially, I just wanted reliability in a car. This car has given me that, plus a bit of fun factor.
When I go into the city, I prefer using public transit.

I have a bike, but I usually just take the bus everywhere, or walk if it's close enough. Sometimes I hitch rides with my friends, but I'd rather get somewhere on my own and not inconvenience them.
However, in today's culture of Justin Bieber, Jersey Shore, and Twilight, where every song on the radio, every program on television and every site on the internet is just another monument to the pinnacle of human stupidity, it's certainly not the worst thing that people could be watching.
our other car is a gold '06 Suzuki. It's been ok, but I don't think I would buy another one.

Out of the blackness and stench of the engulfing swamp emerged a shimmering figure. Only the splattered armor and ichor-stained sword hinted at the unfathomable evil the knight had just laid waste.
i run if it's within about two miles and i'm not strapped for time and don't care if i show up sweaty.
other than that i have a 2005 pontiac grand prix which is an absolute blast to drive. it's one of the best handling sedans i've ever driven, and it's got a big V6 in it, so it's decently quick as well. this is my go to car for work, etc.
my favorite ride is my 2001 Z06 corvette convertible. bought her last year from family for a really good price, and it's just SUCH a car.
Around here, I mostly use public transportation during winter (except trains, they are never on schedule during winter and I don't like waiting for the train in snowstorm for an hour or so) and during summer I use my bicycle. Though, if I am not in hurry and the distance is not long (under 10km), I may just take a walk.
I don't own a car nor I have driver's licence and I am not even planning to get one though I could.

Also modgaming Bur setups is kind of treading down a dark path
My main source of transportation is my bicycle. No problem biking 6-15 miles if it means I get to my destination. Too bad winter is around right now, can't bike with all of that snow.
My wife and I bought a car instead of going on a honeymoon, a 2008 Toyota Yaris. We also both have bikes, but they don't have fenders, so it's impossible to have them out in the Northwest's weather right now.
If Im on my own and not helping someone who has a car with something, then I either walk/bike/bus. If helping someone who happens to have a car, then, we use the car :p. Ive been promised a car once I actually get the time to work on getting my license (something I plan to actually get around to sometime this coming year, will sure as heck be more convenient.)
Was never given a car, and they are pretty expensive so I'm still saving for that.
I bought a bike 2 years ago, but got a dumb mountain bike so I could hit some trails. I took it down some dirt trails 4 or 5 times and it got kinda beat up. Add the goatheads that are around town and the tires were constantly flat. Gave up on it.
Purchased my first "vehicle" a few months back. A 1969 Honda Street/dirt bike. Because I'm not 21, I have to take a safety course out of town and blah blah blah. Needless to say, can't legally drive it.
Since it's good for me, and I'm in a small town.. I'll just keep on walking for now.
I was given a car when I started working at 17. It's a 1996 Toyota Camry. Still have it, still runs great. Kind of necessary to my life as I have to drive 20 minutes to school everyday. Even with gas as expensive as it is, it is still cheaper than living on campus.
Primarily walking - it was extremely important to me to live/work with a sub-15 minute walking commute. My colleagues spend 60-240 minutes/day commuting - so I feel great about that choice.
I've lived in several places in Texas, and driving is almost always the only option. Things are just too far apart to realistically walk/bike anywhere, and public transportation is a joke.
I enjoy the convenience and solitude afforded by my car, but would gladly use a more eco-friendly alternative if my culture weren't so antithetical to them.
Until a few months ago I drove a Prius, but someone made a left turn in front of me at a light and my car got totaled. The insurance company gave me a nice check for it though that I put towards a 2011 Chevy Volt. I'm definitely liking the whole electric car thing! Gas prices? What are those?
Never really used public transportation. Depending on where I lived at the time, I've either been within walking distance of things or in a place where there wasn't any public transportation available.

I walk primarily to and from work, but normally I use the public transportation on the weekends because I don't want to be exhausted arriving at my friend's place.

Gas costs too damn much but some places are impossible to get to without it and a car. It's often also more direct and more convenient.
