Title kind of says it all. Got tickets to my first PAX yesterday, so what would you guys reccomend I do? I like most all games, but are there any specific thing I should check out? Also any advice in general is appreciated.
However, in today's culture of Justin Bieber, Jersey Shore, and Twilight, where every song on the radio, every program on television and every site on the internet is just another monument to the pinnacle of human stupidity, it's certainly not the worst thing that people could be watching.
I went to PAX East for my first earlier this year, though sadly only for a single day. I would advise getting there early and finding out which booths you want to hit first (Colonial Marines and Borderlands 2 had 3 hour waits for demos very quickly). Just get there, hopefully with friends, and bring something easy to play like munchkin and pull up some floor in line and play some games. When they let you in go straight to whichever booth you want to demo or play at first, so as to not waste a huge chunk of your day. Vendors can wait until much later, and I imagine any events will have adequate sign-ups before they launch to not be too big of a concern.
Other than that wear comfortable shoes, bring plenty of water and munchies, and make sure to keep any valuables safe. Have fun.

From my experience at PAX east this year, I think The best advice I can give you is to check out the panels and stuff outside the expo floor in general... Oh sure, playing a game before anyone else is fun, but if thats all you do you're missing out on a lot of what PAX has to offer.
Bring an empty backpack when you go to PAX, and get all of the free stuff you can possibly carry. I got like ten t-shirts when I went to PAX a few years ago. Even if there's something you don't want, grab it because it might be worth selling on eBay. My friend got a bunch of Halo Mega Bloks toys and sold them on eBay for $80 because they were limited edition.
My number one recommendation is always to bring deodorant with you in a bag.
Also, budget your time - especially when playing games, you may find you only intended to be somewhere for an hour, and then suddenly you've spent most of the day there and barely seen anything. The first thing you should do is walk around the whole place to get the lay of the land and prioritize what you want to do.

That is definitely one of my priorities, along with Magic and Borderlands 2. Thanks everyone for your suggestions!
