I guess the tap water thing is going to be a wild card in this. I know the tap water in *my* town tastes horribly akin to pool water (chlorine and whatnot added to "purify" it).
Metromint is the best **** ever. Maybe its because I live in AZ, because the Metromint tastes 20 degrees cooler than it is (think how spicy food makes things taste hotter)...also great to battle REALLY SPICY food, which I also dangerously dabble with.
Tap water, of course. Though it isn't free, (I want to know where you guys live if you don't have to pay a water bill), it is MUCH cheaper than the bottled stuff.
Bottled and flavored waters are a colossal waste of money, not to mention energy in the form of all those little plastic bottles.
Want to save even more money? Try filling a re-usable water bottle/canteen like a Nalgene or Kleen Kanteen to take with you to class/work and skip buying that soda or juice .
I drink tap water... it'd be a waste not to when you're 5 minutes away from the largest source of fresh water in America (the Great Lakes).
Wanna know something funny? They did a blindfold test of different bottled waters and tap water. EIGHTY percent of the people taking the test chose tap water as the best tasting "bottled water."
Chicago tap water is great, in my opinion, but in other places I sometimes go for bottled water. Generally I go with Dasani, since it's easy to find and has a cooler bottle than the other brands.

They call me Hadoken 'cause I'm down-right fierce.
The only water I drink comes from the tap. Also, 70% of those choices above are not water. They are drinks. Tea =/= H2O, nor does Vitamin Water, despite the fact that it has the word water in it.
Bottled, where I live you need to drink bottled water unless you want a great combination of Ciba Geigy and fluoride poisoning. New Jersey isn't Vermont yah know (best tap evar)!

Right now I am drinking a bottle of Nestle Pure Life : White Tea Refreshers. They are really good. Like Iced White tea but not so loaded with sugar.
Seriously, I'm almost thirty and I've yet to have a cavity. I figure the fluoridated water must play at least some little factor...
Except tap water is free.
A puritan, eh? I'm partial to a bit of deuterium sprinkles, myself.

ACTUALLY, it's been shown that evian is DIRTIER than most tap water.

That's right I have a list in my head of waters I like best. It helps when the local tap water tastes like crap.
I still drink tap. Filtered is preferred, but in the end, it doesn't matter.
At work, it goes water fountain -> Nalgene -> Mouth
At home it goes sink -> filter -> Nalgene -> Mouth
So, tap pretty much everywhere.

Same. The little packets are like $2 at my grocery store for 10 bottles worth. I also usually mix gatorade powder with water when I'm thirsty.
If I'm at my magic store they have propel in bottles for a dollar too.
