This is my avatar, which has the character of Wadsworth uttering one of the most well-known quotes from the 1985 masterpiece, Clue: "Communism is just a red herring."
Let's break that down.
Wadsworth, or Mr. Body, is revealed to be the true villain in the movie...or at least in one iteration of the ending. The other two alternative endings show him to be the hero. This is despite the fact that he's a butler, and falls (or doesn't fall) in the "The Butler Did It" trope. It's a lampshade hanging of a lampshade hanging. A double-negative. Much like my role.
A red herring is something that is intended to be misleading or distracting, much like my role.
Communism is something that is appalling at first sight, due to the surface-level implications you would get if you were to glance at it - when in reality, communism is usually thought to be "good on paper", with the true appalling factor being the people around it. Much like my role.
Further on communism, it's appalling factor was so strong that many people fell to ruin or controversy in the history of the US just by the mere implication of having ties to it. This especially affected many writers in the 50s, what with the idea that writers were the rebels and the shakers of the system the same way indie rockstars would come to be known during our time (hah.)
One famous example was a writer denounced by peers "a member of a writer's unit of the Communist Party around 1946," despite really having no actual relations to them. You see, his role and actions made him look like a supporter of communism whereas whether he was is up in the air. Given the paranoia of the time, he probably wasn't.
Anyway, despite it all he kept writing several famous plays like The Crucible and After the Fall, but his most famous one was
Oh I also have this stupid ability that I never used where once-per-game I can chose to stop being Miller for a Night meaning that investigative roles would read me as Town.
Super annoyed I did not used role and despite the way I've been acting all game, no investigators thought to target me. Come on, guys what does it take.

...wait, you also take the ability of whoever you dig up???? That is nowhere in the description of the role. How the hell was I supposed to know that?
And @Jack based on your comments, you readily accept that/expected it? Was that a regular part of the gravedigger role that I forgot? 'Cause if so, I guess I definitely did.
That is what I expect a grave digger to do and it has being like that in most games I played. My games might just be weird though and based off the second NK it makes sense that is what it would be.
I' a Vengeful Rb when I die at night I'm given a choice to pick someone to be RB for the next night, so it sort of sucks that I lived this long. My movie is also back to the future
Honestly sloth I kinda thought you were implying you had a killshot. Hence why I kept asking about the path. I had planned on shooting ZDS thinking you were going for KJ....then ya kept harping on Vaimes about vig...so I didnt...
1) I think the concept you willingly bussed BOTH teammates with little to no resistance and from D1 is at best unlikely.
2) The whole miller crumb set up is....very YOU.
But mostly?
3) I am...so god damned certain I'm right...which means the obstinance has set in. You know me well enough to use this against me and 100% would if you were scum. You wouldn't be challenging me. You'd be egging me on.
Also I think scum!sloth does not shoot Goo. He shoots Jack.
Goo is more present this game. There's more of an opportunity to talk him into a misyeet of town!ZDS who he was iffy on than say Jack who had him midfield on 2/10.
I don't think it's you cause I think you would have killed me by now (unless that's what you WANT me to think), and you seem to be working. If you're scum here, good job!
End of Day 4 - Death of...Anyone? Anyone? ....Bueller

ZDS has been ejected! He was:
Ferris Bueller's Day Off, Town Target+Self Rolestopper "Life moves pretty fast. If you don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it."
Take the Day Off: Once per game, at Night, you may target another player. During that Night, prevent all non-killing actions that would target you or your target made by players other than you or your target.
With that, nothing can prevent a mafia win. Congratulations to Rhand, Highroller, and Jackrito!
Jackrito was:
Predator, Mafia Rolethief "If it bleeds, we can kill it."
Trophies of Man: Once per game, if you successfully perform the faction kill, you may choose to learn the killed player's full role; if you do, you gain a 1-shot of that player's ability, if one exists. Only that player's alignment will be revealed in-thread.
Y'all are going to have to be patient to get access to spec chats and such. Be back after my kids are in bed.
Jack had a great Day 1, and kudos to Eco slash the people who scumread him correctly. But then he was allowed to coast because "phases are too long town doesn't need to talk about things."

This is very true and semi annoyed me even though I won off it. You all wanted to just speed run this game so I could just live off day one and not push people. The only pushs I did this game were on my team. The vig kills helped a lot also.
I'm adding Jack to the list of players I need to revisit my approach on. Last time he was town I tunneled the ***** out of him. This game I pretty much dismissed him as Town even though something felt off.
I'm chasing opposite tells for bad results.
....Seriously Jack. Just vote next time. What was the point in the slow role when you'd won?
Sorry Town
I was partly not here and when I was, I wanted to make sure neither of you unvoted just before I voted. I have big fears of outting my self at the last moment.
GG Jack. Even if I had been able to make my analysis posts, I probably would have cleared you mostly for that wagon D1. That was a pretty good bus.
I was gonna ask you to post more and maybe I would have got there, but that bus was pretty good.
Hopefully this is a lesson that tunneling is bad and analysis is important.
Not letting people post/post a decent amount only helps scum. The less info in the game the better for them.
KoolKoal: Feel free to take this with a grain of salt since self meta isn't particularly helpful, but I think I get scumread mostly for style over substance, but also for a certain lack of substance over style. It's not so much what I AM posting most of the time (though sometimes that can seem bad) but what I'm NOT posting. I've been told I come to non-obvious conclusions a lot, so when I post, quite a bit of the time there's jumps in logic that people can't follow and they think that's scummy. I get that accusation about a lot of questions I ask specifically. People call them "busy work" when the questions are legit etc.
As far as things to ignore, I can't think of anything. I would suggest you focus less on what I'm doing and more on how I'm doing it. That's probably more likely to be accurate. Like I've just said, what I do tends to come off a little weird, but if you look for how I do it, mindset comes into play and maybe you figure out something useful.
TBF that's a lesson you have to learn the hard way. I used to tunnel like that A LOT. Eventually you realize that if you're too certain, you're probably missing something.

Hey, I got there. I'm Who Frame Roger Rabbit, Town Miller.

I am almost definitely not changing my vote. I think ZDS is the the one to yeet.
I think KJ's flip is just as useful though
Also why I was expressing concern about your role and asking if you'd used it yet.
I did not want both of us shooting KJ at the same time ergo wasting an ability.
...Which is exactly what happened just from a different direction than I was thinking

VOTE: ZDS
If Jack's scum, this is gg, I guess!
Let's at least hold off till ZDS says something.
uuuuuuuuughghhhHhhHhhHHHHH Why....
I just want to win this.
I say again. Ugh.
I'm trusting Ter on this she knows Sloth way better then me, ZDS end of day one play does make him look more scum also.
Hopefully I'm right on this. I also can't see Ter as scum for reasons given eariler.
That's yeet...I think
So either of you scum? No use slowrolling.
...I WAS gonna start on a report but NOW I guess Imma sit here and refresh until my finger bleeds.
I'm taking this to mean you aren't slow rolling?
Cause if you were...the rage would be unending.

Well done, man!
Sorry Town
Stop ******* quickyeeting people. This game was thrown so hard. That's about the nicest way I can put it.
Sorry ZDS/Grape.
edit: slipped up with wording
Though I dont think anyone ever sussed you, so you did great!

People day one did KJ and Eco had me caught hard. I did not want to kill Eco day one because I felt bad because they had me dead to rights.
Not sure why you all took my RC on face value also I just stole Axel role.
It happens. I'll learn for next time, whenever that is
