The last 2 day phases have really been killed of pure content because of the situations in both which is a bit annoying yesterday we had the battle of claims so people could just take a side and just wait the day out and see what happens. Today we have the situation where people are waiting for this shot to happen it makes this game feel really weird because it is being dicated by events and roles rather then neutral play.
Well apart from the people who just want to spend the game doubleing down on me being scum which I already said is not helpful because even if I'm town they just wasted their time and if I did happen to be scum my teammates would be getting free passes and could even bus me without fear. I'm not really doing overly a lot to break the game state but it has never being my style since I support more then lead.
Lucky though that we seem to have a lot of confirmed people already so it makes the POE a lot smaller, I'm not sure how much I buy KJ claim though because the nature of it just comes off to me as someone trying to buy time then a town player, I don't remember why he claimed but it feels a bit weird how easily he did it. I guess that I look into him to see if this is just paranoia or something more.

now on this we agree, even though a claim + shadows "result" buys kj a day minimum
But softimg a role in response to a dedperado is about the same level of <bad and/or scum> as claiming vanilla imo how is it different IYO?

Based on how much you really wanted to get the scum roleblocker yesterday, I’d expect you to be more pleased that he’s ruled out for that
Why “result”, it feels like you’re kind of irritated that I’m still alive and had a productive night even after we didn’t go along with the “lynch elsewhere for the roleblocker” plan.
KoolKoal: Feel free to take this with a grain of salt since self meta isn't particularly helpful, but I think I get scumread mostly for style over substance, but also for a certain lack of substance over style. It's not so much what I AM posting most of the time (though sometimes that can seem bad) but what I'm NOT posting. I've been told I come to non-obvious conclusions a lot, so when I post, quite a bit of the time there's jumps in logic that people can't follow and they think that's scummy. I get that accusation about a lot of questions I ask specifically. People call them "busy work" when the questions are legit etc.
As far as things to ignore, I can't think of anything. I would suggest you focus less on what I'm doing and more on how I'm doing it. That's probably more likely to be accurate. Like I've just said, what I do tends to come off a little weird, but if you look for how I do it, mindset comes into play and maybe you figure out something useful.

@Vaimes I very much don't think that he's the most obvious conditional day ability that could be used toDay but only if Rhand's shot doesn't end the day.
I think he's softing to make sure he's not the shot.
I mean he's ~kind of locked himself into a claim that he now has to prove this phase. Softing to dodge a daykill isn't exactly a long-term solution.
The role I'm thinking of would buy him a full phase and I'm very confident he's not the role I'm thinking. There are other possibilities but they don't really fit his criteria.
And given the excellent position we're in I doubt scum are thinking long term at the moment.

1) If it involves cancelling or redirecting a player's death, or stealing or trading a player's role, you should claim right now and not use your ability before we've figured out how it interacts with Rhand's role (if it does).
2) Speaking of which, are you sure a DayKill/Desperashoot will trigger your ability, or do you assume it will? Please confirm with Silver as we will not take "whoops, it didn't work!" for an excuse.
3) Will we know for sure an ability was used and that you were the one who used it? If not we are wasting our time.
Rhand, do not shoot before KJ has answered all of the above. We don't want to risk a worst case scenario where you shoot scum, KJ redirects to town, you suicide, and we unwittingly clear scum.
If he won't answer and/or keeps acting coy and mysterious, shoot him.

Grape, why the hurry to speculate KJ's role?
It does not reflect or cancel a player death.
I never said a shot triggered anything. I said that as long as the day continues after Thanksgiving users good ability, we can use mine today.
Yes you'll know an ability was used. I'm honestly surprised I haven't been able to use it yet actually, given this site.

This claimed ability is extremely pro-scum, especially the "as long as they don't have the most votes" part.
The role is near impossible to prove without claiming it first, since intentional no-lynches rarely happen (except sometimes in MyLo, where this role is even more pro-scum). Therefore it makes no sense for KJ to say he can prove his role, without claiming it.
"I will say that my ability is (one of?) the reasons twilight is so long." (2179) Yes because Silver is extremely bad at math and has to redo the votecount hundreds of times to make sure it wasn't a no-lynch.
"I'm honestly surprised I haven't been able to use it yet actually" (2184) Oh come the **** on.
This is either a fakeclaim or a scum role. Die scum die, and so on and so forth.

On this site we accidently no lunch quite a bit. Sometimes on propose but that was a special circumstance.
Twilight is long to let me choose my target? I assume there's other abilities that trigger during twilight.
I can prove it because, after the game ****s up and doesn't reach majority by deadline, suddenly a Lynch happens and hey it's not a no lunch wtf?
Thus it's in the thread. It's provable

I’m sorry to bring this to you, but this game was submitted in November 2019, and there were no problems with reaching lynches in the games that finished before that.

I hope Sloth has posted by then.
And claiming vanilla is just another way jacks response today is objectively prowolf...

Agree with all of this.
Just waiting for Rhand to blast someone so we can get on with the day.
Why “result”, it feels like you’re kind of irritated that I’m still alive and had a productive night even after we didn’t go along with the “lynch elsewhere for the roleblocker” plan.
but given its you, and the PoE is dwindling
it will probably mean nothing
ITF - vanilla
Tubba - vanillafather + last stand
Unknown - roleblocker
Gj - Watcher
Shadow - Jailkeeper
Rhand - Desperado
KJ - (unknown role)
ZDS - n1 kill attempt
N1
GJ>zds
Tubba>zds
Shadow>zds
N2
Gj>blocked
Shadow>kj
If gj is real tubba had nothing to target zds with other than kill.
No other explanation for missing kill than shadow jailing
If kj was jailed he cant be the wolf that blocked johnny or killed axel (several caveats to those but all fairly low percentage)
I think he's softing to make sure he's not the shot.
The role I'm thinking of would buy him a full phase and I'm very confident he's not the role I'm thinking. There are other possibilities but they don't really fit his criteria.
And given the excellent position we're in I doubt scum are thinking long term at the moment.
But im not married to the waiting part tbh
Slothful was prodded earlier today, was hoping to get a vote count out to announce it with but it didn't happen.
Apologies for the lack of vote counts and not staying on top of prods.
Rhand (2): zds, kj
Vaimes (1): rod
Last (1): vaimes
Sloth (1): last
Not Voting (6): Rhand, Jack, shadow, tom, Umami, Sloth
It does reset the votes.

Desperavote: Killjoy

I figured we'd inevitably **** around till deadline, fail to come to a agreement on who to lunch, deadline passes, then I make a choice myself.
It's a good safety net. Lynch is always better than none.
Fixing an accidental no lynch without being able to kill the top suspect though?
