KoolKoal: Feel free to take this with a grain of salt since self meta isn't particularly helpful, but I think I get scumread mostly for style over substance, but also for a certain lack of substance over style. It's not so much what I AM posting most of the time (though sometimes that can seem bad) but what I'm NOT posting. I've been told I come to non-obvious conclusions a lot, so when I post, quite a bit of the time there's jumps in logic that people can't follow and they think that's scummy. I get that accusation about a lot of questions I ask specifically. People call them "busy work" when the questions are legit etc.
As far as things to ignore, I can't think of anything. I would suggest you focus less on what I'm doing and more on how I'm doing it. That's probably more likely to be accurate. Like I've just said, what I do tends to come off a little weird, but if you look for how I do it, mindset comes into play and maybe you figure out something useful.
Right. Well, the way sloth explained it, we are literally terrible players if we don’t vote each other right now so...here I am. I could just ignore him but then I’d be disregarding not just one but two of my strongest town reads. And I know I’m gonna be wrong sometimes or tunneling so I gotta be mindful of that.
I've been called a terrible town player a lot. It's nothing new.
The fact that so many players agree with it is new. Usually not so many people in one place
you aren’t a terrible town player, that’s the problem this game

Exactly. Agreed.
I actually feel like I have to die just so people can look at this game objectively.
What do you think about people's reactions to my claim?

tom’s legacy post feels so pure that I think not even tom can fake that.
Which makes me feel more comfortable sheeping him, and since I really need to be on the lynch wagon and LW seems trigger happy, I’m going to switch my vote before I go to sleep.

IDK what scum!Zionite is doing. What his agenda is. He actively did not want to vote me. While not doing that, he didn't really push anyone. I get the feeling very strongly that he was riding the same cluster**** roller coaster that I was. I don't think he knows for sure I'm town. There's also the issue of my being a counterwagon to him... which I really don't believe I am. Zionite has been under decent pressure all game. Tom's case was early, those votes could have come on me way earlier. (And yes, I disagree with Sloth that counterwagons can appear that far after the initial wagon).
On an individual post level, sure he has some scummy posts. That's where the pressure came from. But in a general behavioral sense, I don't think.
Another note is I think his response to that pressure was... pretty good. GJ said apathy, and that seems true. He doesn't care nearly enough about potentially dying to be likely scum.
Take that however you want, but when I die you'll know it's sincere.

Self pres isn't a meta here. Never has been. I'm pretty sure I've literally never done it
FWIW it is meta here. I know at least I do it (and often end up dying for it). Shadow does, RHand too I think.
Anyway still locked in on town tom and Sloth. YWMILF is townish. Wisp can be scum regardless of KJ's alignment but is probably more likely if KJ is town.
Flarg's handling of KJ doesn't bother me as much for some reason. The reaction to the RB claim is a TWTBAW moment.
He's still not caught up, but I agree with most of what he's saying. His read on Zionite seems to be evolving naturally. There hasn't been a whole lot of other progression-related tells because he has so few posts, but these posts are consistant with the calm, collected player I've played with before (though my memory is foggy since it's been a long time). He's historically a strong player (who's brain I need to pick on mafia theory. I actually sent him a message before when he was away, but his account got purged before he read it, I think).
Let him catch up fully, and I think his reads will help a lot if he's town. He's gonna be a tough one to catch if he's scum.
@tom: Actually, if you want, look at Boardgame Mafia where I was scum against him. It has town ZDS and scum me, for future reference.

Sloth: I still haven't looked at the scumgame I asked for, isn't a huge priority. His conclusions all seem to take the proper amount of time to be reached naturally. If he's scum, he's... possibly one of the best I've seen in a while.
Zionite: As I said above.
Jack: Jack has made a few posts that have jsut felt townie to me. His reaction to people's reactions to my claim is one, it felt uninformed.
(1317->1338). 1154 is another. I also feel like his read on me is natural.
tom: There's a chance that tom is just memegaming this so he can later tell the story of how he got me lynched off nothing and survived until Day X, but that's not an assumption I'm prepared to make without more flips. Occum's says his read is legit believed (ftr, the case is still crap, but he believes it, and is quintupling down on it). I think scum!tom probably doesn't do this most of the time.
Lazer: A cursory read of her posts makes me lean slightly more town than not. I'm not gonna spend too much time here since I'm gonna die. Not a strong townread by any means, but I'd say >rand town on this slot.
ZDS: As mentioned above. I'd be careful here, but I wanna say he's town. (Also, pretend this line is in Georgia font)
Tubba: I feel like he's posting naturally, so town. He hasn't posted much but he's posted well.
Rhand: Hasn't posted enough to get a really strong read but based on entrance and recent posts, probably town.
GJ: I liked his handling of KCC as mentioned earlier, but I can't really remember much else he's done. It's still D1 so I don't expect a whole lot from him, but still, he hasn't done enough town to be in my townpile.
Vaimes: I had him at town earlier for topposting and not posting terribly. I'm putting him here for also not posting well. Maybe he'll redeem himself, but as of right now, he can be in the middle.
Last: While I appreciate him helping me deal with tom, he hasn't really pushed anyone yet. I recall him liking being on top wagons, but he might be hesitant this game.
Flargh: He was town before for tone, and Black Hole, but his reaction to my claim was... really bad. I'm not sure he's scum for it, but it disrupts his generally natural tone in a way I didn't like.
KCC: Gut and experience tell me that her lack of a townread are not natural. I don't think she was ever gonna come around unless the pressure broke, which it never did. I do think GJ had a point about her handling of me.
Grape: His reads in general feel bad, but his read on me is... lacking for sure. He didn't have a read on me until I asked for one, and that was mostly just tom's case.
If I'm guessing the scumteam right now, based on my general read accuracy and such...
[KCC/Grape/Last/+1]

It's not like Grape can solely play this game by riding on Tom's reads, so like if he is a wolf, and Tom is town, he is going to need to prove it via his own thoughts
I think overall I'd rather Lynch Killjoy at this point

KCC: Well lets try this: How do you usually read me? What do you look for in town KJ that's not here? Because you seem to scumreading me for what is here but is not in other games, which is the opposite of that, so.
I usually read you through your process. Your questions, your theories, your poking. The way you bounce around through your reads isn't always obvious to everyone, especially before you started focusing on cleaning up your presentation, but I can usually follow along with it and track your mindset
I haven't been able to do that here, because you just aren't scum hunting. I waited past potential early game silliness, past you being busy, and it's still not there.
The closest you got was a readlist, where you avoided directly omgusing Tom, but just shaded the rest of your wagon as containing some amount of scum.
You say grape and I are your strongest scum reads, but you're not doing anything with it. Your read on me is just an AtE to make me feel bad for not townreading you. Which, yeah, okay, was pretty effective for a while. And maybe I'm underestimating how much Watchmen affected you, but I don't feel like you believe that read
If I'm wrong, I'm sorry I couldn't get there through whatever the hell it is you think you're doing this game

Yeah, KCC might def be town.
As I'm going down, she's still saying I'm AtE herby saying I should be townreading her. She could just left me alone now, let me die.

you aren’t a terrible town player, that’s the problem this game
I actually feel like I have to die just so people can look at this game objectively.
What do you think about people's reactions to my claim?
Which makes me feel more comfortable sheeping him, and since I really need to be on the lynch wagon and LW seems trigger happy, I’m going to switch my vote before I go to sleep.
vote KillJoy
Killjoy (7): Tubba Fett, Vaimes, Tomsloger, Gentleman Johnny, Grapefuit2, Zionite, Rhand (L-1)
Zionite (4): Slothful, Jackrito, KittyCupCake, YWFMLF
Not Voting (4): ZeDorkSlipeur, Killjoy, Lastwhisper, FlargBlarg
With 15 alive it takes 8 to lynch. Deadline is March 3rd at 1700 MST.
Ok I'm gonna start making my posts now.
Killjoy hates this game.
Why are you not hammering?
Well, let me know when you're done
I am curious, tell me why? Or is this another, I am sheeping Tom because he is better than me, again?
The GJ way path to no lynching:
[KCC/Grape/Last/+1]
Ask me things or end me, whichever you prefer.
I think overall I'd rather Lynch Killjoy at this point
If I'm wrong, I'm sorry I couldn't get there through whatever the hell it is you think you're doing this game
vote kj
You did this same thing as scum to me. There's parallels.
I'll see you in spec chat. GL townfolk.
I'm top poster too.
If it's not KCC that should become apparent soon I think.
Town roleblocker, yes or no?
I was gonna spend a bunch of time taking apart tom's arguments but I just didn't feel like it. I'm regetting that.
I was scum in you that game too. Tom said it first so I'm technically sheeping him but I came to it individually.
As I'm going down, she's still saying I'm AtE herby saying I should be townreading her. She could just left me alone now, let me die.
HAHAH! I kid with funny gifs to hide how volcanically furious I am now.
