I really don't get why wolves didn't just shoot Vaimes or LnG though. It basically guaranteed their win.
I guess having a way to deal with GJ was just a bluff, and Rhand's role was the way to deal with him.
Like, you know GJ could have targeted the NK, right?
Oh was he a bodyguard? I uh. Didn't actually look at the flip, just got up from computer and stalked off in irritation at seeing them shoot a Stark, lol.
KoolKoal: Feel free to take this with a grain of salt since self meta isn't particularly helpful, but I think I get scumread mostly for style over substance, but also for a certain lack of substance over style. It's not so much what I AM posting most of the time (though sometimes that can seem bad) but what I'm NOT posting. I've been told I come to non-obvious conclusions a lot, so when I post, quite a bit of the time there's jumps in logic that people can't follow and they think that's scummy. I get that accusation about a lot of questions I ask specifically. People call them "busy work" when the questions are legit etc.
As far as things to ignore, I can't think of anything. I would suggest you focus less on what I'm doing and more on how I'm doing it. That's probably more likely to be accurate. Like I've just said, what I do tends to come off a little weird, but if you look for how I do it, mindset comes into play and maybe you figure out something useful.

your role use is so meh to me. Like, it wasnt good or bad as either alignmemt it just happened. Like, literally you used it to use it regardless right? It didnt change the lynch, it doesnt tell me much about lngrr, its not a thing that matters to me other than telling me your role is ~true. Its not a role ive ever seen before obviously (fairly different from a regular gladiate in that you dont put yourself in danger) so im not trying super hard to evaluate it on that merit, rather just putting in a probabilty grouping of "decides deaths" roles.
Why do you think it should matter to me? You tryna say scumyou wouldnt use it?
I dont really feel like explaining the concept of poe to you. Like, you think i should be asking questions or something... thats early game now im solving with the answers. Vaimes is town. Winds is not mafia. Thats all im eliminating and it leaves me 4 people with i guess maybe 3 scum but im def working under the assumption of 2...
Within that ive got 3 teams that seem less likely. Youre the only one on a team with shin that doesnt seem less likely.
Literally why i currently think youre scum, along with shin looking for any excuse not to rolecop you last night. Behaviorally, youve been *fine but unmemorable/low impact*
As ive said i find you townier than anyone else in my POE. I mean, this interaction today has been tedious and feels desperate, but whatever town can get randomly scared of me late game thats a thing that happens
But yeah im happy with all of that "poe angle"
Today i plan to iso chris, especially to see if shin/x=y works as his team because im really iffy about that unalignment (maybe chris is just a *****ty busser when he cant really play) and by roles and behavior that just seems like the scumteam...
Then rhand, especially looking at the interaction winds was talking about with rhand wanting to lynch you
Then probably make a case on shin because i think hes just scum here and thats the first step i think before finding his buddy.
Shin still looks more like a buddy than anyone. Chris ties last and grape to him d1, then ignores him to pursue vaimes/someone voting him or x=y.
And, like, always calls him scummy but never really wants to lynch him
I can see the possibility here that shin/x=y very specifically created an unalignment with the shot d1, and chris is all in pushing the dichotomy. That way he busses two buddies but gets to townread the other when one flips, so it makes sense thats what he would want tp be such a large part of his footprint.
Its a weird play but it might make sense if the whole scumteam knew they werent gonna be super active and shins getting pressure.
Still wouldn't call it likely, but sure
Separately, the x=y push is much more absolute. Chris accepts no argument on that, and doesnt build other scum from it, only townreads (on hunger for targ chat and shin for the shot).
In this comparison, im really feeling that he had plans to push townies based on shins scumflip but theres no such projection in the associations around his x=y read.
As for lngrr/kj... he barely mentions either. So thats fun...
Vaimes pretty obviously town from chris iso. Chris literally spent a dozen posts emotionally manipulating him into leaving him alone. Scumreading him all the while.
Winds feels like someone chris is just dealing with
So from chris iso alone,
Shin>>kj/lngrr>x=y>>winds>>>vaimes
@Tom I just don't see how you have Vaimes as lock town, but characterize my play as something akin to barely there.
Look at Rhand jumping on me D3, and tell me if you think it is bussy or not.
And I didn't "use it just to use it". I used it because out of all people, I felt Chris was the scummiest, and we absolutely had to nail scum that Day.
While tedious, I think of all people, if you are scum you are most likely to win. Which is why I want to try and tamp down paranoia and get this right.

i mean, i agree that if i were scum id have the best chance of winning aorn.
That's not really the same as thinking im scum.
We were already lynching chris. 100%. Didnt change that.
Didnt you even say you used it because it was the last day you could?
Im not scumreading you for this but its pretty bizarre you think i should be townreading you for it

Yes, I used it because it was the last day I could, but also we needed to hit scum. You Starks were talking about lynching Rhand and not caring if he was town or scum because it fulfilled your wincons.
Now, in the long run I guess that doesn't matter because Rhand was scum, but I don't think it was a foregone conclusion that Chris was the lynch by any means.
You have had a lot of townie posts, but you being alive this long is always going to make me a little paranoid. All we need is one mislynch after all. If you are scum with, say KJ, then pushing a lynch to a pretty lynch able Shin is a smart move.
idk, it’s hard to muster the enthusiasm to win at this point. Things look super bleak.
And I know I’m gonna fall into the trap of townreading anyone that’s being high effort right now.
That's my concern too. If Tom is scum here, I think we lose. We have some time though. I will try to reread. But man, Last's 40 pages of spew make rereading a slog.
I really don't think it's Tom. I'm not sure I've ever actually read him incorrectly, and his brand of solving this game is above and beyond what he can do as a wolf. There's a certain kind of pleasure he takes out of 'solving' the setup and wanting to be right that I don't think is fake-able.
Regardless, if you are town, LnG, X=Y basically has to be a wolf.
With Chris' role, a 4-man wolf team would have ZERO targets I could even kill if he just targets Rhand. That is not reality imo.
Shinichi and KJ are probably not w/w either independent of that mechanical reason, their back and forth regarding the role cop doesn't feel premeditated, it feels clumsy, and there's certainly a wolf between them, but it's not both.
So I think from your perspective it has to be X=Y or Vaimes + a Stark. (And it's never Vaimes).
If we lynch x=y and he flips town, I probably holster? Since I think you and Vaimes are like lock town in that world, and I don't trust wolves to shoot the other one so I leave the game.
In a perfect world the wolves cooperate, I leave the game, and it's a final 3 of Stark/Stark/Stark, and we  in spec chat as Tom gets to figure out if it's KJ or Shin.
But trusting wolves to cooperate probably is suboptimal. I'd rather wipe out the wolves then cooperate with the town to just kill off the last 1-2 non-northmen, leave the game, and town + me both win. I'm assuming that'd work at least, I haven't actually confirmed with Shadow that the game doesn't just end with me losing when all wolves die.
What's the town win condition? All threats eliminated?

Only thing he really says about shin is basically "argh cant read him". Think thats a bit more likely if scumshin, whereas he may just suspect townshin because easy target, but its not a huge difference really
X=y, rhand just says might be scum but not a good lynch because dayvig.
Kj he's pretty wiggly on. "Hes town for scumreading me" "hes scum but only with lngrr"
Idk he doesnt talk about him a lot but its always conditional on something.
Vaimes he straight up uses as an excuse to not vote chris sooner.
Lngrr he does seem to want to kill. Some town points, though not really from after he outed that winds was talking about unless im missing something.
Overall i think his handling of kj, shin, and x=y look partnery. Lngrr not really. Vaimes definitely not.
Convo with winds also looks real furthering hes just neutral and never scum here
Still landing on shin as the most likely scum here. And x=y slot having shot at him gives me pause at that being the team.
Like thats definitely a possible scum ploy, but its pretty crazy to use your (only?) killpower that way.
But shin himself:
I dont even want to put any of his posts in this. Im not isoing him. I dont understand his process enough to try.
More important is the chris interaction, where chris was setup to look good but never actually tried to kill him.
Possibly even more important is the role.
Hes a rolecop, which is objectively a role scum kinda need in a crazy setup like this.
Beyond that, RE flip (all investigative gift giver) and hunger flip (throne unlock cop) and even throw in grape flip (faction cop, if that even counts as info) is... enough info for town imo. Maybe some more fits if its not very powerful. But
Ok shins a rolecop.
If hes town its an absolute scum check on rhands role.
Looking at chris and gj/hr flips its really easy to tell town protective from scum protective.
It would be a towncheck on hunger, it pretty much outs winds as SK.
Its too powerful to go with our 2 (+ a fraction) flipped info rolea.
Its even one of the gifts RE gave out, she had a really cool way of giving info. Hungers was delayed and didnt even get achieved this game.
Shins is too blunt. Especially now weve seen rhands role
Also, i guess this works for all 3 of us that were in stark chat since he told us but
He knew cantrip had the doc shot, killed cantrip.
Tldr:
Shinichi is scum. Chris played like it, rhand played like it. Rolecop is way more likely a scum role in this setup than town.

I kinda want KJ to claim. The only way scum don't know his info is if both KJ and Shin are town. Shin already copped him, after all, and if scum kill him, probably not the worst thing?
In fact, can we just get a full claim? I thunk if we are trying to mechanically clear, we should probably have the most info possible.
Faction is The North, I'm only member of the faction specifically.
I'm a neutral! Shocking development, truly.
Win conditions:
1) The Pack Survives - I win and leave the game if the only people alive are Night's Watch and/or Stark members.
2) Lone Wolf - Unknown, but gonna go out on a limb here and say it means I don't get to win with my pack if they all die. Just a hunch. The name makes me wonder why it was even redacted, tbh, but you do you, Shadow.
Ability:
I can kill someone every night, as long as it isn't a Stark or Night's Watch member. If I target those, my ability fails/fizzles/they don't die.
Actions:
N1 - Highroller lowrolled his constitution check and died.
N2 - Tubba Fett more like Tubba Dead.
N3 - Hunger more like 'how the **** did you not flip wolf'
N4 - Shot a Stark/holstered.
Not Voting (4): XequalsY, Shinichi, Killjoy, LnGrrrR
With 7 alive it takes 4 to lynch. Deadline is June 15th at 1400 MST.
A reminder about Iron Throne support: All support must be done via PM (either MTGS or discord), and can be changed as many times as you wish up until twilight is announced. I strongly recommend queuing it up sooner than later.
Please be kind wolves. I shot a lot of wolves, and tried to cooperate with you guys/Rhand. Believe in your ability to win in the F3. You're never lynching Vaimes anyways.
Put some effort in during the f3, make this game memorable. Now that I have no remaining agenda I can safely say it could be any of the remaining three. Don't ignore Tom and crossvote immediately. You'll have a week. Reread, find interactions that look good etc.

4 scum plus winds should be enough, yes?
I'm very confused.
Rhand was probably just going for the big gambit maybe.
Y'all can put me on the throne again. My abilities pretty good. Can for sure win town the game.
Shin saying my ability is 75/25 to be scum seems wrong.
What's up with that?
Isoing Shadow without context is fun. Ok thanks.

Rolecop is way more likely a scum role in this setup than town.
vote shinichi
Uh... whatever 100% minus chance of shin/kj team is...
Also letting winds win and such blah blah
Im just voting most likely scum for now

Anyway. By votes kj and lngrr fill in the most gaps.
You're gonna have to explain that.
Because I had some different interpretations there and I'm tilting my head at you a little.
In fact, can we just get a full claim? I thunk if we are trying to mechanically clear, we should probably have the most info possible.
Club Flamingo Wins: 1!
I am Ghost, friendly neighborhood puppy.
Id love to hear yours i wanted to look but its by no means my area of expertise

With 7 alive it takes 4 to lynch. Deadline is June 15th at 1400 MST.
A reminder about Iron Throne support: All support must be done via PM (either MTGS or discord), and can be changed as many times as you wish up until twilight is announced. I strongly recommend queuing it up sooner than later.
I am very carefree and just kinda post whatever
@TW those shots tho -.-, why HR n1?
