Shin is representing that hes only going for town wincon which id call objectively fake/scummy for most people but shin... lolidk
like literally the only *good* reason to ignore your other wincons is of youre scum and need people to thibk youre really towny
And even then it should be a lie i dont trust anyone thats openly game throwing
But lolshin
This entire game has just been a ***** show to me, and the whole alt win cons kinda break the integrity of the game. Town should be trying to lynch town not people of the factions that represent their extra win con. I will not be voting people because of their faction only their alignment. If you don't like it lynch me tom, but I will not vote someone off because they're the faction we need to remove for our 2nd win con.
the posts youre quoting are me saying i dont think thats scummy for you, specifically, so whats your point?
Ik, but wanna make it clear that is my stance :D. Also want everyone else to know my stance as well on the subject

Your right Grape. I didn't believe your claim. You get to get a person's won Con but everyone is my faction has two. Tom may have more.
Why on earth would that make you not believe my claim? If anything it should have made me obviously alone and obviously town...
anyone can be scum... flavor doesn't matter
This reply feels like townie confusion tbh... The not bothering to think about the implications of what was said are classic town!Wisp. Should have been obvious flavor wasn't the point.

I really wouldn't bother replying to Wisp posts.
He's clearly town and clearly having a mental breakdown. I'm not entirely sure why he flips out every other post over people saying things about his behavior.

Its a shame that Shin signed up for this game and is actively refusing to play the game.
Would this be a bastard game if there were no mafia in it?
Just alternate win conditions?

Shadow would have to blacklist himself if that happened.
@DV that wasn't for Wisp's benefit but your point is well taken.
Yeah, I'm not trying to be *****y about this *****.
Its funny to me, I go "Yeah my behavior is a problem." So, what happens in the next game I play on this site? Wisp pulls a me. And I'm like, OH ***** OK yeah this is really unfun. Anyways, hope things get better for him.
@DV
thanks, DV I really appreciate that
Joining this game I did not immediately realize how annoying the alt win-cons were going to be
I am replacing out on my own accord to having a difference in opinion, goes against my idea on how the game should be played
I assume basic GOT knowledge tells you who i am and you now agree theres more likely scum in starks than my other faction?
If the numbers are the same then probably. But if they are different then unsure. There is also always a decent chance Shadow assigned factions first and then randomed t/s and then made roles.
But I'd probably take a closer look at KJ and maybe reevaluate my read on Shin. I stand by it but I may be tunneling to avoid backing down to DV. Dunno, I'd try to ignore it till you had more information but it's hard to for sure.
“Power is a curious thing, my lord… Power resides where men believe it resides. It’s a trick, a shadow on the wall. And, a very small man can cast a very large shadow” – Lord Varys
“I serve the realm!”
A likely story, you quietly think to yourself. No one serves the realm. Few people serve anyone but themselves. And yet, as you look upon the bald eunuch bleeding out on the ground in front of you, multiple blade wounds covering his body, you can’t help but wonder if that might be true.
Of course, the man (if you can even call him such) was sly, cunning, and tricksy. Always had information, always had a tale to spin. He was ever present at the side of the mad king, always available for Robert Baratheon, using his resources to the advantage and whim of whoever sat upon the throne. Or was he? Now, you will never know, for you helped kill him, thinking him to be scheming against you. Or maybe you just wanted to scheme against him.
Whatever the case may be, there are no more whispers to be heard, and still seven kingdoms ripe for the taking. Best not to dwell on the dead.

The Spider, Maester of Whispers, the Eunuch...not all of the names you’ve been given are as flattering. Yet for the most part, they hold true. You have served several kings now, and while you stood beside them, whispered your secrets in their ears, not all of them had your loyalty. Not because you gave your allegiance to another, but because you are loyal to the best interest of the people and the realm.
You have done many things that have had rippling impact, but never gone out of your way to cause harm. Conversely, you’re not a fighter, and you’ve never gone out of your way to stand in the path of danger either. Your goal is to find someone worth supporting, and stand by them as best as you are able.

“Why the oldest son, and not the best-fitted? The crown will suit me, as it never suited Robert and would not suit Stannis.” – Renly Baratheon ”Anyone can be killed.” - Arya Stark
Ah a good night sleep does you well, you were able to get a bit of privacy in your room, a gentle evening breeze flowing through the window.
But time marches on, and even those who sleep soundly in their beds do not always make it to morning.
A body is found washed up on shore of the Trident, foul play clear, as you see bloody gashes carved deep into the corpse.
And yet another is found hanging from a Heart Tree in the north, hands and feet bound, this was no suicide.
Some of you are deeply impacted by this, others only see the dead as two less obstacles to find the throne.
Highroller is dead, he was:
Player: Highroller

You knew things would not go well without interference, and it turned out that you were right. Ned Stark should have forged an alliance with you, but it was too late. You moved your army south, and have now amassed the support of the southern lords and houses. And you have forged a marriage with the young lady Tyrell. Things were good for you. Not even your older brother would be able to stand in your way, and who would follow him? He had as much personality as an empty bookshelf. You are loved, and respected, and capable of doing what needed done.
With the blessings of the church of the seven, you stand poised to make your claim.
Lastwhisper is dead! He was:

Abilities: No One (passive) - You cannot be targeted by non-killing abilities.
Factional Win Conditions: Winter is Coming - [redacted until end game]
-or- The North Remebers - [redacted until end game]
You never liked the typical "girl" things that you were supposed to like. Your needlework was atrocious, you hated dresses, and you were disinterested in giggling at boys. You wanted to learn to fight, you liked to go on adventures, and you despised being called a "lady". When your father died, you got your wish, though not how you would have liked; you fled the city disguised as a boy, and passed under the "protection" of one person to the next, until you broke free and made your way to Bravos. It is there that you became who you are now.
You trained as a skilled warrior, deft thief, and silent spy. You spent time serving the Many Faced god, learning how to be "No One" so that you could kill anyone without emotion, without regard, only because it was your duty. And yet, even that you failed at, not because you didn't have the skill, but because you could not truly give up yourself. You are Arya Stark of Winterfell.
It is now Day 2. You may no longer post in any factional chats you are privy to. Day will end 1700 MST, May 30th.
From this point forward, I will only be addressed as Vaimes I the Immaculate, King of the Andals, the Rhoynar, and the First Men, Lord of the Seven Kingdoms, Protector of the Realm. Your Royal Highness will also do.
Same if I were to be voted, but that would be treason, and the penalty for treason is death by Rodemy, my faithful dragonmuffin.
@Vaimes
Why do you have me as blue? The blue names appear to be mechanical clears. Currently disagree with Rodemy's (and LnGrrrR's to a degree). If it's because of Cantrip's check - why don't you have Cantrip blue too?

Rollback Post to RevisionRollBack
When the point of no return appears, it is already behind you.
I've loosely skimmed through the game for the most part, and read through a few iso's closely of lower post players. I'll give the thread a proper read through in light of N1 deaths, but I'm not sure how much they really change my reads yet.
One of my biggest qualms with the game is that my primary alignment win condition and my personal faction win condition seem like they could be at odds in certain ways the game could unfold. It'd be straight up bastard for their to be multiple wolves in the two factions I'm linked to I think, as it'd make winning the game and achieving that alt win condition near impossible.
I think my strategy for now at least is to assume there's minimal if any wolves in those factions and focus elsewhere. If we get down to probably 1-2 wolves left I'll reluctantly turn my attention to the two factions I'm trying to keep alive, since imo the alt win conditions are a "try to achieve if you can, but not at the expense of your alignment win con" type of thing.
I pretty strongly think 1053nm is town, especially if he's as new of a player as he seems.
LnGrrrR is also probably town for willingly rocking the boat with his no faction claim.
Vaimes is probably town for reasons I have trouble fully articulating. Lack of guile or something.
Actually that reminds me of something I was considering as I read through the thread - there felt like there was a roughly even amount of public support for Vaimes and Sir Chris for the throne, but Vaimes won. Does that mean anything? My initial inclination is that it makes Sir Chris slightly more likely to be town, as his team would have been able to force that through most likely. I also think it makes Vaimes slightly more likely town just because he feels like the type of player who wouldn't want the spotlight as a wolf. Maybe there's nothing there, but it could be something. If someone wants to go through the thread and tally up the king support numbers, maybe there could be meaningful data there.
I guess I'll just come out and say the Starks are one of the factions I have a vested interest in keeping alive, as well as a heavy suspicion that there's not many wolves in there if any - so that means Tom, Lastwhisper (RIP), Shinichi and Killjoy are probably off the docket for me for a day or two. If there is a wolf in that cluster, I think it's Shinichi, but it's entirely possible it's clean.
Cantripmancer claimed "effectively a cop check" on RE, which... probably makes RE more likely to be town in the balance of things. I think it probably tilts the needle slightly town on Cantrip too, but he's someone that I had vaguely wolfy feelings from when ISO'ing him - similar to Kamikaze (which I'll get to more in depth), I got a kind of "asking questions he doesn't really care about the answers to" vibe.
Rodemy is probably town on the back of his role, and is likely self resolving anyways. I do want to direct his KP more as a town though rather than him unilaterally firing into whoever strikes his fancy. If we can get a second lynch, do it, as it is twice the town controlled KP that people have to justify reasoning for.
I lean wolf slightly on Rhand, but not so much because of anything he did, but for gamestate related reasons. He was a wagon near EoD, the Starks had full desire to have him dead, and yet the wagon pivoted onto Grapefruit instead. (I should note that my win condition is unrelated to the Stark win condition. I do not care if Rhand lives or dies, I only care about his alignment, not faction). Maybe there's something there - I feel like he could have quite easily been the lynch if wolves wanted him to be given the support of a chunk of the game for non-alignment reasons, and the support of even more players for 'we have to get a lynch' reasons. Idk, I'll re-read that section again, and read Rhand's iso in a vacuum too today. It's on the docket.
I have zero read or recollection of Gentleman Johnny, Hunger, or Tubba Fett. I think there's decently likely odds to be a wolf or two in there just by virtue of having a decent chunk of town reads, but no strong feelings at all on who it could be.
I do think Kamikaze is my most likely wolf. There's an element of "over-explaining" to some of his reads, where other reads feel like they're exploring the possibility for the thread to go that way. He's also one of the only people on the Grape wagon I'm not town reading, so seems like a reasonable place to start.
A disappointing flip and Night. The death of innocents tells us far less than the death of the guilty. But it does tell us some things - a tightening of probabilities.
I will take my lock town read for coming in cold and talking yall out of LW. Vig was a little too sticky, but not an awful shot, even if I don't agree with it.

This really pings as a lifeless posting-for-the-sake-of-posting post.
Vote Kamikaze*
I'm voting Chris so that he'll Do Things. What game-related probabilities have tightened for you?
*(shadow has confirmed to me that the king's vote can be split. I'm using colors to differentiate mine.)
@Winds, honestly, I wouldnt ask you to read threw the garbage fire that was D1.
@Sir Chris lost the throne because he ghosted near end of Day. Not saying it was his fault, but Vaimes was more active.
@Kami, as I noted early day 1, I place a lot of faith in Chris's abilities. So if he isn't hunting scum and finding them, it likely means he is scum himself.

LnGR is a behavior read. Rod is purely mechanical but that'll probably work itself out.
I'm not aware of the specifics of what happened with you and Cantrip, and don't really think him declaring you town warrants an automatic townread.
