KoolKoal: Feel free to take this with a grain of salt since self meta isn't particularly helpful, but I think I get scumread mostly for style over substance, but also for a certain lack of substance over style. It's not so much what I AM posting most of the time (though sometimes that can seem bad) but what I'm NOT posting. I've been told I come to non-obvious conclusions a lot, so when I post, quite a bit of the time there's jumps in logic that people can't follow and they think that's scummy. I get that accusation about a lot of questions I ask specifically. People call them "busy work" when the questions are legit etc.
As far as things to ignore, I can't think of anything. I would suggest you focus less on what I'm doing and more on how I'm doing it. That's probably more likely to be accurate. Like I've just said, what I do tends to come off a little weird, but if you look for how I do it, mindset comes into play and maybe you figure out something useful.

You were also one of the strongest scumreads of a dead strong conf-town player, and hard scumread the other dead strong conf-town player.
Dead town don't matter. They're dead. You can wine about how they died if you want.
You realize that they both had a chance to die when they both used their abilities, right?
Yeah, exactly. They probably died using their abilities.
The way you're going about this day is a bit townier, but I do still want to see more. If you are town, then I'm potentially down to metatron with you and Anak, but I need to be more certain on you first.

Ok so Anak is town. I wonder who Cantrip bodyguarded. Shadow maybe, he was at the top of the last T/S he gave.
It could also be me, Lngr or Osie as that was his town block.
We should’ve done the same thing we did for desperado for the bodyguard :/
I am ok with the claim order and let’s get that started.
Lngr first.
@Osie and Lngr: why are you voting so fast in lylo?

Me because I'm convinced that the team includes LnGrrrR (and Scum Killjoy + Scum Rhand would have hammered him if not), and LnGrrrR because he's probably scum cross-voting? I'm just trying to figure out whether the second scum is you or Killjoy. Originally I would have said Killjoy any day, now I'm more leaning you, but am not certain.

But you voted KJ off the bat too.
It seems like you’re not afraid of voting in lylo at all?
Why is Rhand + KJ not an option in your world view?
And why put KJ above me in your claim order if you’re leaning me?
I’m going to reread and focus on interactions between Osie / KJ / Lngr to see if there’s a team that can be excluded there.
I hadn't realized it was LYLO at first. Then after realizing, I figured my reads were such that LnGrrrR is always scum. As town, I could sit back, but that leads to a no lynch as scum does the same. One town has to lead the lynching or scum just wins.

Oooh. Osie. In your first post you say there's a risk in you claiming Miller, then in your next post you say you don't lose much by claiming. Reconcile those for me will you?
I'll continue devouring everyone's ISOs and see where that leads me.

@KJ: Osie is acting strange toDay and I’m getting doubts.
His casual voting in lylo is weird, but so is Lngr’s. I know one of them HAS to be scum. Maybe it’s both? But would both scum out themselves by voting carelessly in Lylo?
They’re too experienced for that, right? This could lead into a chain lynch of both.
I think I’m talking myself into a KJ + Osie or Lngr team now. Leaning KJ/Lngr for Osie’s D1.
I’m also still fairly certain that KJ believing he would die with the desperado shooting him was a slip.
I need more time to think though. My worldview was pretty much destroyed with Cantrip’s flip and Anak confirmed. I also still need to do that reread.
The good thing is I am almost confirmed town now.
If I was scum with KJ, we would’ve hammered Lngr with Osie’s current vote.
If I was scum with Osie, we would’ve hammered KJ with Lngr’s current vote.
If only KJ would vote Osie now, I can prove I’m town
The sad thing is that only combo’s with me in it are getting cleared here.
Lngr needs to get in here and claim so we can get the Night mechanics into the thought process.
Dead town don't matter? Are you kidding me? That's the defense you are going with? Holy cow.
It's wine. Do you really wanna debate "Did I kill Cantrip"? Because again it's wine.
It isn't about the death of Shadow. It is that dead town Shadow suspected you for various reasons. Are you saying we shouldn't listen to what dead townies have said?

Let me counter your question with another question: Do you think Anak is town?
Explain to me what Shadow suspecting me has to do with anything that's not just determining who has the motive to want him dead?
If you're saying "he's town so we can trust his opinion", sure that's true but he's not infallible. His reads don't become accurate because we know he's town now.

This is the quote you were responding to. Osie wasn't saying, "They killed Shadow because X", Osie was saying dead townie Shadow suspected you. And you answered with "Dead townies don't matter".
Probably Rhand if I had to guess, given it seemed he was trying to push me weirdly yesterday for outing the "gambit" and laying off when he saw no traction from others based on that.

Which is nice. We don't have to do crazy things with the claims now.
Hmm...
Rhand looks pretty decent.
Cantrip always looks better than KJ between the interactions there.
So it's down to two.
Vote: Killjoy
Derpclear denied.
Nevermind. Carry on.
5 players is LYLO.
True. And he flipped town, which looks particularly bad for you.
KJ/LnGrrrR/Anak/Rhand
Shadow town flip puts Anak as town.
Rhand is the towniest out of those four players
Cantrip town flip looks really bad for KJ.
KJ and LnGrrrR both already didn't look great.
So KJ/LnGrrrR scumteam gogogo.
So...
Vote: KJ
Scum is in Rhand/Lngrrr/Osie.
I'll rexamine the game after work today.
Osie: feel free to give reasons for your thinking. Why am I scum?
*Sigh*
Tell you, what. I'll Vote LnGrrr.
Convince me why Rhand might be scum.
At the moment, you're easily POE'd to scum, and your arguments and perspectives didn't hold up during the previous day phase.
You realize that they both had a chance to die when they both used their abilities, right?

Killjoy
Rhand
Anaklusmos
When did Lngrrr get scummier than me?
It could also be me, Lngr or Osie as that was his town block.
We should’ve done the same thing we did for desperado for the bodyguard :/

Your response to the start of the day phase was decent. And since I was less sure on you earlier, I wanted to give you a chance.
But if Osie is scum I have done thoughts on the setup. I'll share after claims.
I hadn't realized it was LYLO at first. Then after realizing, I figured my reads were such that LnGrrrR is always scum. As town, I could sit back, but that leads to a no lynch as scum does the same. One town has to lead the lynching or scum just wins.
But this post came after your realisation?
Yo Osie. Go ISO Rhand right now. Tell me what you see in regards to his reading you this game.
Yo Anak and LnGrrr. Get in here.
I'll continue devouring everyone's ISOs and see where that leads me.
I like that question to Osie about that original Miller claim and am intrigued to hear the answer.
Being conf Town takes all the weight off, let's see if I can push us forward the right way. Probably going to start with a full reread
It isn't about the death of Shadow. It is that dead town Shadow suspected you for various reasons. Are you saying we shouldn't listen to what dead townies have said?

/barn. Even more so now.
I'm exhausted after work and just want to go to bed, but I'll try to get to your questions tomorrow afternoon.
Explain to me what Shadow suspecting me has to do with anything that's not just determining who has the motive to want him dead?
If you're saying "he's town so we can trust his opinion", sure that's true but he's not infallible. His reads don't become accurate because we know he's town now.
And like 99% sure Anak was the one Shadow shot, so yeah.

As far as voting, I am still annoyed I ended up losing Secret Agent in part for not just pushing Eco when I got the feeling he was scum late Day.
The fact that scum haven't jumped on to hammer makes me feel pretty good about my vote.

Also who do you think my scumbuddy is?
This is the quote you were responding to. Osie wasn't saying, "They killed Shadow because X", Osie was saying dead townie Shadow suspected you. And you answered with "Dead townies don't matter".
Probably Rhand if I had to guess, given it seemed he was trying to push me weirdly yesterday for outing the "gambit" and laying off when he saw no traction from others based on that.
Club Flamingo Wins: 1!
Why does that matter?
I was spinning my brain on which teams couldn’t exist with not hammering those wagons and realised there weren’t any that don’t include me and thought that was funny.
Why do reads of dead townies matter? Is that your question?
