Hmm. I concede the rest of my time as I am busy and it seems like everyone is set on Osie. I won't be able to solve the game properly at this juncture if I am wrong on this read, and I don't think people are willing to budge on Osie despite the reasons being somewhat varied and bad. For example Vaimes votes for Osi because "well Osi says they don't want to read the game" like... how is that a scum tell? We mislynched yesterday (well you guys did but I will TAKE OWNERSHIP of my slot) and it is now day 2 and we are lynching for such meh reasons. But it seems like a vast plurality of you are happy to do so, so I guess we'll see. I'll catch up over night and probably die a horrible death lmao.

@Osie I've already tried to get a wagon on Tom going. It may have been a rather large point of contention at one stage. If you are town then I'll still be strongly looking at Tom.
As for the EtR/Tau/Tom team that I can at least understand. It's very conspiracy theoristy in a convoluted ton of moving parts sort of way (and would involve either buddies being neighbors which is ridiculous or completely tying themselves together with 0 outs) and I don't believe it but I can at least sort of see the strings.
Your EtR/Tom and manipulating Tau into the gambit isn't something I get. Can you explain to me again or point me to your cleanest explanation of it. At this point I don't get how Tau could have been tricked into the gambit.
That's what I'm not sure about, hence why I want to see Tau's alignment the most. The fact that Highroller has not contributed to the game outside of one post doesn't help.
But the Tau-town-tinfoil is that could see it being the case that EtR pulled a car salesman on Tau and made them decide that they wanted to buy into the car/gambit. A similar, more likely possibility is that scum!Tau suggested the Gambit as if they were town and EtR bought into it.
One way or another, I don't think that gambit EVER comes from town, unless that town player is playing SO badly that they are essentially a scum member anyways. (To be fair, that roughly describes the slot's play this game anyways. Shots fired.)

My vote was still on you because I didn't find a better target before you got lynched so I didn't really have a reason to move my vote.
And your predecessor's play has convinced me he is scum and what you did since replacing hasn't helped that case. You look more like a dog at the end of a leash trying desperately to escape more than a townie trying to leave a lasting impression before he dies. You've attacked several people for almost no reason. You called KA scummy while simultaneously saying that you didn't read the game so you probably have no reason to scumread him.

PTAP, been reading along but not much time to pos.
@Osie, let's say your slot is town. You need a viable counter wagon. Who is it?
This is strange. It can be semantically parsed as "who do you think is scum?", but the way it's actually structured feels artificial.
Osie:

How can EtR pull a car salesman on Tau when, by both of their accounts, EtR didn't post anything in the pre-game thread?
How can Tau suggest that gambit "as if they were town"? The gambit literally involves claiming scum in the pre-game thread.
So what I'm getting from this is that either you're openly lying or you'll be voting Tom as soon as I flip town.
What's the purpose of this post? It looks like an accusation, but GF is pretty solidly cleared. On the other hand, if this is an attempt to convince GF to actually do something after a flip, then why is it so aggressive?

This is the point I've been dancing around in these questions with Osie. It's not a slam dunk because he's a replacement and most of his catch up has been via ISO's so it's plausible he missed this, but it just feels like trying to make an accusation stick. It's always really hard to alignment info from posts that are that clearly divorced from the reality of the thread, but I think the vigor of the push suggests scum. Especially since his most likely scenario (the 3 man scum combo of EtR/Tau/Tom) makes no sense even at all to me. It damns the other of EtR or Tau if one ever flips. That sort of play makes the most sense as a distancing gambit and by tying themselves together as neighbors they couldn't survive the other's death. So it fails as distancing and puts both slots and especially EtR's under scrutiny. Apart from paranoia about tom being a mastermind I'm not fully sure how he ties into it.
I also think the masterminded jedi mind trick theory is undermined by the fact that EtR back tracked and said he tried to claim a different team than he did.
But again, I don't know if that's a slam dunk scum case on Osie. I think it's a slam dunk his case is bad, but he could make a bad case while struggling to find footing in a giant game as either alignment.

Coming back to this post, to the thread in general if you had those beliefs about the team either being Tom/EtR/Tau or EtR/Tom shouldn't you want to go after EtR or Tom first and not Tau? The bold section is the first time I remember you acknowledging the EtR!town version of events, everything before it implied his being scum to my memory.
Anyway I just basically disagree with the premise of pulling the gambit being inherently anti-town. Every time I've been a neighbor I've been looking to pull fancy plays. In Mistborn way back when I got neighborized by a player and pulled a trusting play where I lied about protection targets after I'd been forced to claim D1 by being very scummy. I ended up with a very strong town read on the slot as a result (though they got modkilled shortly after which was a drag...). When shadow repeatedly neighbored me to pocket me in Silence I tried to pull similar sort of nonsense but it turned out he was pulling it over on me. Long story short I think the natural town impulse is to try and pull something fancy when made a neighbor, and I got a town read on Tau just for the attempt.
@HR because KJ seems to know my flavor and scum having that knowledge would be weird. Also he was super townie day 1.
He wasn't even slightly townie Day 1! He hung back and asked a bunch of questions to people without really committing to anything. That's quintessentially a mafia play.
That's what I'm not sure about, hence why I want to see Tau's alignment the most. The fact that Highroller has not contributed to the game outside of one post doesn't help.
Yeah, you know, reading a 44-page thread takes a bit of time. I guess you wouldn't know.
@Highroller I can't disagree strongly enough about KJ being townie D1. I felt he was obvious town almost immediately. Anyway I believe he's town because he either knows my flavor or got very lucky bluffing that he did.
Anyway so I take it that you think KJ and I are buddies?
I really want to vote Osie and be done with it for this weird Tau/EtR read but I'm having some lingering doubts. Can anyone talk about it. Work is slow and I want to talk this through.

You being a key part of it just so bizare. It's just something I'm struggling to wrap my head around at all. Doesn't seem like he'd do it as scum on a level 0 sense, but obviously if he feels caught he's going to sow doubt. If he's town like it's genuinely paranoid about a situation that he's completely misread. If he's scum idk who is buddies are because he's just floundering and completely lost and everyone is shedding him. Which I guess if he flips scum probably no day chat unless the message was "GJ killed the slot, just go in and try to look lost."
Dunno. Just hard to figure it out. Probably has to die here.

Grapefruit - Tentative because this worries me a bit but the fact that they placed a vote here is probably town because why all the hemming and hawwing if they are wolf regardless of Osi's alignment. Just doesn't make sense! Also he just said "or I want dead townies" except if you just wanted dead townies you don't post wall after wall after wall after wall going back and forth back and forth when the effort is not needed to kill Osi at all. Just... no. Also scm don't tend to go 'well actually you're wrong I could be scum!" just pointing that out.
Tom - Despite Tom being wrong and me being right (lol) I like Tom's aggression here. My only fear about Tom is apparently his wolf game has upgraded quite a bit since I last played with him regularly but he seems to be genuine in his approach to everything and he seems to be reading my progression intently which is a good sign. I also like the instruction to leave a legacy from Osi.
Highroller - I like their reactions to Osi. Like I genuinely feel this guy is annoyed by Osi to high heaven for alignment reasons, and that's a town take.
Osi - I have gone over why a lot, just reads as genuine person reacting in a way I would never expect scum to react. Like a big problem in every community I have ever played in is the fact that a majority of players do not know how to scum hunt. Sorry to say, just fact. Neither do I very well, so I town hunt instead!
So here's what I am thinking. Maybe Rodemy was meming although I will say I have never met a town that said "I am bad, let me prove it!" Removing your agency as town, admitting poor play in the moment as a defense when someone thinks you are a good player, is almost opportunistic in its depravity. No pride, no nothing, just 'actually I kinda suck.'
But maybe it is just a meme and maybe my memory is foggy. But Vaimes' vote was just not good. This three strike nonsense Vaimes talked about is just wrong and not good scum hunting methods at all. It's a 'town player who is not so great' detector more than a scum one. The surest sign I have that this lynch is a bad one, in my perspective, is the reasonings as a whole aren't good. I will ignore Tom because I haven't read the full scope and don't want to be a jerk but Grapefruit is like "well I see this but **** it" and Vaimes is "three strikes hurr" and Vezo is like 'I am voting Osi but oh boy this Sir Chris guy..." which is why I immediately challenged him on it because I would LOVE to see this person come after me instead of piling on the person who is the lead wagon by far. Then they vanish. Let's see if they come back and accept the challenge.
So I am OF THE OPINION there's some scum in Rodemy/Vezo/Vaimes because their reasoning for hopping onto an "easy" is not very strong and I don't like how it holds up. If you have Osi's town flip in your mind and you like all three of these people I do not know what to tell you. Also prime bussing votes too even if you think Osi is scum because they are so weak and flimsy.
Okay and then I have these people who I have little to no opinion of, by the numbers probably 2 scum in here.

As far as things to ignore, I can't think of anything. I would suggest you focus less on what I'm doing and more on how I'm doing it. That's probably more likely to be accurate. Like I've just said, what I do tends to come off a little weird, but if you look for how I do it, mindset comes into play and maybe you figure out something useful.
Also it should bother everyone that this is so stagnant. You do not tend to find scum day 2 in a dead lynch like this. At all. I am not uniquely qualified to point these things out but no one seems to want to even consider another lynch. Alarm bells should be ringing. You likely only have me for today unless I am really bad at mafia (which you know, possible) so can we please look at the context clues here.

While also implying I'm probably town here. I bet you are scum trying to chain mislynches.
Osie:
How can EtR pull a car salesman on Tau when, by both of their accounts, EtR didn't post anything in the pre-game thread?
How can Tau suggest that gambit "as if they were town"? The gambit literally involves claiming scum in the pre-game thread.
What's the purpose of this post? It looks like an accusation, but GF is pretty solidly cleared. On the other hand, if this is an attempt to convince GF to actually do something after a flip, then why is it so aggressive?
If there's anywhere/anyone I should read in particular, let me know and I'll take a closer look.
big if true
Thanks to DNC at Heroes of the plane studios for this awesome sig and SGT_Chubbz for the awesome avy.

Please.
I am ******* begging you.
Stop picking on Osie and come at me. I will bury you.
Because if we want go make this about me oh boy I will stall some tasks and have adventures the next two nights. Because I have laid out pretty clearly my thought process! Telling Chris he is scum for doing what Chris does is telling to me. So tell me more

Makes more sense when you keep it in context.
As for your other point, I'll get back to it.
Because if you don't, then that's not what "cleared" means.
He claimed a one-shot cop. Anyone can claim a one-shot cop. vezok claimed a one-shot cop in Secret Agent Mafia. Spoiler: he was lying.
He wasn't even slightly townie Day 1! He hung back and asked a bunch of questions to people without really committing to anything. That's quintessentially a mafia play.
I can think of two reasons:
1. He's lying about being town
2. He's lying about being town
Hopefully there will be tomorrow.
Yeah, you know, reading a 44-page thread takes a bit of time. I guess you wouldn't know.
Dude, no.
Anyway so I take it that you think KJ and I are buddies?
His whole tauroller stance is super scummy
And just throwing me in as mastermind is a thing ive seen scum do a bunch (town too of course i am kind of a mastermind)
Was thinking about etr as a buddy earlier but with his attitude coming in i dont want to read any spew really
I buy it as, like, uninformed seeing good tone in these posts even though theyre either talking about something irrelevant or something nonsensical
I'm pretty much in agreement.
Vote: Osie
I don't feel good about it but I'm not going to get past this.

Or I could just want dead townies.
@Highroller Okay so do something about it. I know there isn't support to condemn me today, and almost certainly not tomorrow either.
