You are Kratos, God of War (God of War series), Town Vanilla
Born in the Greek city-state of Sparta, Kratos is the demigod son of Zeus and a mortal woman named Callisto, although he would remain unaware of who his father was for most of his life. Outraged at Zeus for fathering yet another bastard child, Hera ordered Kratos' execution on the day he was born, but the King of the Gods took pity on the child and refused, leaving him in Sparta to be raised by Callisto.
Like all Spartan youth, Kratos was monitored and trained for combat by the Spartan authorities; those who were deemed fit were to stay and be trained as Spartan warriors, while those who were deemed unfit would be sent to the mountains (probably Mount Taygetos) to fend for themselves. Already feisty and aggressive at a young age, Kratos trained together with his younger brother, Deimos, as they dreamed of joining the Spartan army when they grew up. Around this time, Zeus began to hear prophecies foretelling his demise at the hands of one of his sons, a "marked warrior". Hoping to circumvent the cycle of patricide before it was too late, Zeus sent Ares and Athena to hunt down and dispose of the boy who would one day rise up against him. Ares, noticing Deimos' strange birthmarks, decided to invade Sparta with an army of centaurs and take him to Thanatos, the God of Death. Kratos tried to save his brother, but Ares punched him into a pile of wood, leaving him with a permanent scar over his right eye.
Insulted by the mortal's defiance, Ares prepared to kill the young Spartan, but was stopped by Athena. The Goddess reminded Ares that they had what they were looking for, and apologized to Kratos before disappearing into the flames. The loss of his brother left an indelible mark on Kratos, as he vowed to never falter again. In honor of his brother, Kratos had himself tattooed in the exact image of Deimos' birthmark. Kratos would later forget that it was Ares and Athena who took his brother from him, and wouldn't realize it until after Ares' death.
As Kratos came of age, he became a respected member of the Spartan army, eventually marrying Lysandra and siring a daughter, Calliope.

Spyro gets into lots of mischief and is known to be cocky, a trait that can lead to his downfall.
As a young dragon in the first game, Spyro was mischievous, bratty and somewhat of an upstart.
In Spyro 2: Ripto's Rage! and Spyro: Year of the Dragon, he became less cocky and more levelheaded. He has minimal interest in love, as he lost his chance with Elora in Ripto's Rage! and regarded the scene of Hunter falling in love with Bianca as "a sad sight".

He is first seen in Doctor Neo Cortex's and Doctor Nitrus Brio's lab. (later, Cortex tells Crash that Brio forced him in his evil plan). He was created by them with the Evolvo-Ray, but when the two doctors put Crash under the Cortex Vortex (despite Brio's warnings that the machine was not ready), it failed to turn Crash evil as Crash proved to be immune to it. Cortex gives chase after Crash trying to recapture him, only to find Crash running out a window and falling into the sea. Even though Cortex failed, he knows Crash will come back, as the bandicoot had a girlfriend named Tawna Bandicoot, who was also evolved. Crash goes on a huge adventure to save his love and put a stop to Cortex's plans. Not long after Crash sets off he comes across a witch doctor mask, Aku Aku, who watches over him and protects him from various perils. On Crash's adventure he confronts bosses who are determined to keep Crash from getting through: the obese tribe chief Papu Papu (who surprisingly is not affiliated with Cortex and simply fought Crash for waking him from his slumber) in his hut, the insane kangaroo, Ripper Roo at the top of a creek, the muscle bound Koala Kong in a mine shaft, Cortex's bodyguard Pinstripe Potoroo in his office in the Cortex Power refinery, Doctor Nitrus Brio in his own potions room and finally the mad scientist, Doctor Neo Cortex himself, on his hoverboard, who is faced on his airship. Crash spins, redirecting Cortex's laser blasts back at his hover board and falling to his apparent doom while Crash and Tawna are seen together at last. The couple takes the airship and they fly into the sunset. In the alternate (Non-Canon) ending, instead of confronting Cortex, Crash uses all the gems to get to the balcony where Tawna and the same kind of bird as in Slippery Climb (except as an ally) are. The three ride off into the night as the epilogue rolls, stating each boss Crash defeated has changed for the better and Cortex hasn't been heard of for a while, but it hints a sequel by stating "However, evil geniuses are harder to squash than cockroaches...".

Welcome, Vaimes, to Playstation Battle Royale Mafia!
You are Joel Miller, Survivor (The Last of Us), Town Vanilla
Joel was born on September 26, most likely between 1984 and 1985, and grew up in Texas alongside his younger brother Tommy. Joel raised Tommy through their childhood, to which the pair heavily struggled with.
Not much is known regarding Joel's early childhood other than he noted that, during his youth, he initially aspired to become a singer. Later however, Joel had a daughter named Sarah and was married to her other parent for a short period of time. Saddled early in life with the responsibilities that come with being a father, he never had the opportunity to attend college.
No mention is given as to the fate or whereabouts of Joel's ex-spouse. However it is clear, through a conversation between him and Ellie, that the subject of whatever happened is very painful for Joel to talk about. As a result, he raised their daughter as a single parent for the majority of his life. The two lived together in a typical two story single-family home somewhere in or around Austin, Texas located in Travis County through Texas State Highway 71.
Despite his long working hours he still spent quality time with Sarah, as seen in photographs displayed throughout their home showing the two on a cruise, at a carnival with Tommy, and at one of Sarah's soccer matches. Additionally the two often went on several hikes together.
In the hours leading up to the outbreak, Sarah gives him a new watch as a birthday gift to replace the one he had broken months before. This becomes a cherished memento he manages to keep in the turbulent years ahead.
Twenty years later, he’s become a brutal survivor with few moral lines left to cross. Joel, now in his late 40s, has been hardened by the ravages of the fungal pandemic that has devastated civilization as we know it. He’s lost friends, family, and everything he valued in life. Living in one of few remaining military-controlled quarantine zones, he operates as a black market smuggler, dealing in contraband, taking numerous de-humanizing jobs over the years to survive in this new post-pandemic world. Joel’s conscience slowly dwindles away as he shuts down his emotions to cope to his new life.
Gentleman Johnny has won in the endgame! He is:
Welcome, Gentleman_Johnny, to Playstation Battle Royale Mafia!
You are Delsin Rowe, Conduit (Infamous Second Son), Mafia Role Cop
Your team mates are: Corvo Attano (Rodemy), Ezio Auditore (Tomsloger), and Solid Snake (Kpaca).
Delsin is a 24-year-old Native American from the Akomish Tribe. Believing that he is destined for greatness, Delsin's occupation as a street artist, and his uncontainable penchant for free expression, sets the perfect background for his standoff with the D.U.P. Delsin has a rebellious attitude and favors anti-authoritarian street art. Unfortunately, Delsin's tendency to tag buildings and structures with graffiti constantly irritates and embarrasses his older brother, Reggie Rowe, who is forced to keep arresting him "over and over and over again". It is implied that Delsin and Reggie's parents are deceased.
After being confronted by his brother, Reggie, over vandalizing the latter's "Congrats, New Sheriff!"* billboard, the brothers witness the crash of a military truck transporting a trio of Conduits - Hank Daughtry, Abigail Walker, and Eugene Sims. While Abigail and Eugene quickly get away, Delsin attempts to help Hank out of some rubble and, for his troubles, becomes a hostage in the resulting standoff with Reggie.
During the struggle, Delsin accidentally absorbs Hank's powers and falls unconscious. After coming to, he finds the area around him in shambles. Discovering his new-found power, a frightened Delsin manages to reach and save his brother. You have the following abilities: Good Karma (Night use) - Target another player: at the end of the night, you will learn any abilities they have. If you do not gain a any new abilities this shot is refunded (this can only happen once). This ability resolves before other abilities (meaning that your target will be unable to use any abilities if you steal them)
With that, the Mafia team of Kpaca, tomsloger, Rodemy, and Gentleman Johnny have achieved parity with the town and won the game!
Thank you all for playing! Post game starts now, thoughts to come when I can put them all together.
GG scum, BG town. Hopefully this serves as a learning experience for all involved on a number of levels, and I imagine this will be the starting point to a number of conversations in our near future.
Man I'm still spinning that we (town) lost this game. We played so badly, pretty much the entire middle of the game, and I still thought we were going to win. Well played scum, especially Johnny.
So we probably need to talk about the toxic stuff that happened. I know immediately in that post game glow isn't a fun time to start doing it but we have to talk about things. And I'm well aware I am far from above reproach for my handling of this game (I contributed to both the over the top lurking and to the flaming) and am in no position to preach so I just want to highlight a few things I think would be helpful to have a discussion around. And I realize some of this discussion has already started in the recent chats in the "Ask the Council" thread but I think it needs to happen here as well.
1: How to handle player behavior when they don't respond to repeated warnings. We had a fair bit of flaming occur after warnings were handed down. Clearly this isn't acceptable. I personally feel the modkills that were handed down were justified completely. I realize this probably isn't a unanimous position to have. This doesn't mean I think LW and Kpaca are toxic and want them to never be able to play here again just that their removal from this game was justified. But I want to hear from people who felt it wasn't. And from the people in the spec chat who were arguing against it in real time.
2: How to handle disengaged playerbases. There seemed to be a vicious feedback loop this game. A few hyper engaged players and a large swath of disengaged players. This led to large portions of the players catching up to complaints about how disengaged they were. Which was a spiral. I don't have any guesses to a solution here. As discussed elsewhere activity caps aren't a great solution, and changing the minimum activity requirements creates tons of mod work. And increasing replacements to combat this (as the natural lever of punishment for not posting) leads to that same psychological feeling of blah'ness unless the replacement comes in and is immediately a star.
The best scenario for a game is when people are naturally as active as each other, having people on different activity levels can cause bad feelings. After this game I think it would have been a really interesting experiment to have the trial 3 person team mafia game self rank their players from highest engagement/posting to lowest and place them in the games according to that.
Anyway in this instance it was a confluence of factors that led to the high levels of apathy: starting right before a holiday weekend in peak summer (for most players), the animosity that was present, and the mix of players and personalities. DV, Terry, Wuffles, and Vaimes are the only three townies who have tons of natural leadership qualities in this game. Possibly ScarletRage but I don't know them well enough to comment. DV was gone before D1 was out, Terry not long after, Wuffles had to cut way down midway through the game, and Vaimes started a new job that was draining and had a vacation during the game. Like that left us being led by Kpaca, Wisp, and eventually me. Kpaca was scum so that didn't work out for us, LW's attempts at leadership involved posting so much that anyone struggling to keep up was likely to not read half of what he was saying, and I only gave legit effort when I got into a flame war with DV D1 and right at the end when it was almost 100% too late because scum had stolen a day kill and had us in secret LYLO.
That got rambly, but basically I don't know what to do about activity but I don't think any 1 thing is at fault for it this game.
3: This relates back to point 1 but is more specific: what do we consider acceptable levels of personal attacks in joke form. DV took serious offense to the way I characterized one of his gifs shortly before replacing out, but I strongly feel it crossed a line. This is a game that involves us voting to kill each other and it's really hard to tell where the line is on going from in game saying I'm going see you dead for that behavior to it being an additional part of flaming someone.
Semi related: PC police here I've been getting really uncomfortable with the way the mafia community uses the word lynch. To my knowledge which might be wrong hangings aren't always lynchings and I get that it's about the flavor of the violent mob, but it's still a bit icky in this day in age to me. No solutions just growing uncomfortable with the casualness of the loaded language. Disclaimer I'm a shrinking violet when it comes to that sort of thing. And despite me saying this the language is now habitual for me. I'm just embarrassed to share it with other non mafia people partially because of the casualness of talking about lynching.
Lastly I still had fun this game. And I still like all of you. And this game had some really cool designs (the night skip was amazing!). And I'd like to see even the negative parts of it have a positive history by at least getting us to examine our culture. And I can tell from the council discussion it already has started to, just wanted to continue that discussion as unpleasant as it can be.
@grape: Regarding the part about the word "lynch". Just because the word means something bad doesn't mean we shouldn't us it. It's practically a roleplaying term here. It is unfortunate that it was mostly used in the context of hanging black people, but it's not entirely related to that.

Yeah I probably shouldn't have mentioned it. It's 100% ingrained in the culture. I was stream of conciousness at that point. I am one of those annoying people who over thinks that sort of thing.
I am so sorry for running out like that midway through the game.
Regardless of circumstances, it's a *****ty thing to do and I will not play in another mafia game on here until I can be sure that my attendance will be confirmably decent. It was disrespectful to Shadow and to my other players.
I think that the replacements who called it in the whole game should be in the same boat, personally. Mafia games die when players are too busy or too signed out to participate. I feel so damn bad for Shadow here.
And the toxicity in this game was unacceptable from DV, LW and Kpaca. It made me feel like a nagging nanny telling people to be nice to each other and I hate that feeling.
Also, I screwed the pooch on not using the daykill when I had the chance, mechanically speaking, but at that point the rest of the town was so checked out that I felt like to benefit to us coming together and murdering a scum as a group was the best chance we had to get some people pumped up enough to start some actual content and participation. That's how bleak I felt about the town's chances at the time I caught Tom.
I hope that everyone learned something here - I definitely did. I'm not leaving the Mafia group entirely tho - I got a mini game queued, and I hope you all enjoy it when it happens.
Yeah, Kpaca, you were definitely 3rd in those three. And almost everyone had some skeletons in their closet which they should be a bit more careful about in future.
I think the bigger question in general is - this game was well made and well moderated by Shadowlancer. I think that it really brings to a head two massive problems in general.
1. Lurkers can ruin games. Thank god that I was the least active of the town PR's in this game. But Mafia is a game where active participation of the majority of players is vital.
2. Making things personal (or taking things personally that should not be taken personally) was a major problem this game. I would like to bring up the question to everyone in the MTGS mafia community - how much shade constitutes a:
- warnable offence
- replaceable offence
- modkillable/restricted list offence.

Thanks to DNC at Heroes of the plane studios for this awesome sig and SGT_Chubbz for the awesome avy.

Yeah I probably shouldn't have mentioned it. It's 100% ingrained in the culture. I was stream of conciousness at that point. I am one of those annoying people who over thinks that sort of thing.
Quite frankly I will not play in another game of mafia with lastwhisper.
