If Vezok is the only way to avoid a no lynch I guess I'll vote him? I have no read on him really but it's..information? Sort of? How much time is left?

Not Voting -(1)- Osieorb18 A No Lynch has occurred!Overall it had been a quiet day in the slammer. There were a couple of mixed scuffles throughout, but most of it was posturing. Then, just before lights out a few of the inmates began threatening some real trouble.
Just as serious beef was about to go down, the guards swarmed the block and shouted everyone to their cells.
"This isn't over," one inmate called out.
"Oh yeah? Bring it!"
"THATS ENOUGH!" Came the voice of the warden, "Back to your cells, all of you."
As night fell, and darkness enveloped the cell block, whispers began to flit back and forth between the prisoners.

After what turned out to be just a day of posturing, no one slept particularly well; everyone was on edge, expecting something to happen. Finally, as the hour grew so late it was almost early, everyone began to drift off.
Until that is, a shrill, maniacal laugh pierces the air and sends a shiver down your spine.
"AHAHAHAHAHA!! You thought you could kill me?! I am the bearer of death; I wield the knife!"
You look out of your cell to see Gentleman Johnny, covered in blood and with a shiv protruding from him, laughing as the guards escort him away. You always knew something was amiss with him, but he is truly full blown crazy. As he's carried away, you know in the pit of your stomach that you will never see him again.
Gentleman Johnny has fulfilled his win condition and left the game!

It is now day 2. Posting in chats is again restricted to up to three 120 character messages until night. With 9 alive it is 5 to lynch. Deadline is 2359 Eastern Time on Friday 19 January 2018
Huh... Well I feel vindicated in saying Johnny wasn't town for his gambit, but apparently I was the only one who didn't think he was town for that.
I feel kind of lost to start the day because I spent most of my night arguing that GJ wasn't town for his play and researching around that.
Also been thinking about Arc and I think that his attempt to move the lynch off Vaimes and onto Vezo is a really good look for him. I think I was scum reading him for playstyle and that I was off base. It could be a last ditch effort to save a buddy or white knight Vaimes for the credit, but I think the most likely solution is that he is town and was trying to save Vaimes.
Town reads: Dan, Vaimes, Terry, and Arc.
Soft town: Osie
Need to sort: Vezo, KJ, Cyan
*Note my vindicated comment is a joke and I feel incredibly foolish that mafia decided to kill him N1 when I was dying on the hill that he wasn't that townie.
What kind of setups do you guys have
I feel like I should've asked this earlier
@Grapefruit
I was townreading GJ yesterday because I thought his blank defense on vaimes was a n0 peek soft or something, but vaimes told me last night that was nearly impossible.
I feel like Arcthurus is really trying to solve the game even though I don't agree with all his reads so I have him in the mostly town category.
I didn't like Killjoy's vote, but he didn't really rub me the worst way.
Cyan is also strong town for me.
I really think Vaimes' scumbuddy is grapefruit. I could swing either way on a wagon, but I think Vaimes is the more dangerous scum, because he panicked so hard yesterday.
Also I'm VT.

@Vaimes I think you're town. I think Arc is scum. I don't know what to make of Cyan. More inclined to believe he's town here. Talk to me more about GJ. I agree his non defense of you looks suspect, but does anything else stand out to you about him? Do you think his gambit indicates anything? What about his slight push on Osie?
You think Arc is scum and Vaimes is town, but decide to jump on a wagon started by arc at the end of the day. Dissonance much?
I like Osie's reaction to the GJ gambit, but have little impression beyond that before the point about unvoting.
I was scum reading Arc, but his recent posts have been really good even if I haven't had a chance to wrap my head around his case on Vezok yet.
Vezok and Cyan I have gut good feelings about but nothing concrete as I havne't been taking any notes.
Killjoy and GJ are just there.
I'd be willing to lynch anyone below my top three. And prefer not to include Osie unless it's to save one of those three.
unvote
You think both osie and Arc are scum, but decide to trust Arc's case on me? That means you don't really have real reads, just want to appear like you do.
I was scum reading Arc, but his recent posts have been really good even if I haven't had a chance to wrap my head around his case on Vezok yet.
It's really not that complicated. He voted Terry and didn't ignore him. He voted me and ignored me. He is also doing nothing productive. Why would he do all of that as town? Why would he do that as scum?
Vaimes trying to convince his scumbuddy to join the wagon, because it's safe.
Grapefruit, I know you're defending me and all, but you might have to be a person that dies at some point.
Get back to me on Cyan once you've skimmed his scumgame so I can get a better idea of your read progression. It shouldn't take more than like, ten minutes, and there's still an hour and some minutes 'til deadline.
Distancing in the next post after he tried to convince him to jump on this wagon.
3. My "busywork". Excuse me for trying to stimulate this game a bit and get a set of reads going. At just over 80 hours, this game had a total of 50 posts. Compare that to Zero Escape, which took just over 24 hours. Granted it's a 17 player game, but the corrected time should have been 56.5 hours if it were to keep the same pace. Things are moving slow and now we have something to talk about. We are actually having some meaningful exchanges here. If you actually read the whole post (I know walls can be scary and I usually don't like to do them), you'll see I'm not just recapping posts, I'm interjecting my opinions and what I think that means for alignments. Sure there are a few I just recap, but not every post can be AI. On top of that I put out several reads for everyone to see at the end and discuss what I learned from actually trying.
First off, posting an in depth analysis of the first page and discussing every single post in RVS is not stimulating the game. It's quite literally fluff.
Second, there is a reason why this game is not going as fast as Zero Escape and it's neither the number of players nor the amount of posts. This game started on Christmas when almost everyone doesn't have time for games. Wait for New Year's to pass and you'll see that the game will pick a lot of steam.
Although I still think Terry is scummy I'd like to see more content from the people who haven't really said anything yet, because Terry is exactly the type of player that scum will hide behind and just let him spam the thread.
This is full of shade and is showing zero interest in solving the game. Opens by shading Terry. Then has a useful critique. Followed by off topic explanation and then reiterating a scum read and saying that even if he isn't scum he needs to post less.
The gambit was so poorly executed that it's hard to gleam anything from it. It's true that GJ seems slightly townier for it, but it doesn't influence my read too much on him.
This feels like forced commentary. And unwilling to town read GJ. Gives me slight scum vibes.
Anyway the rest of it doesn't strike me strongly in either direction (neither do these two to be blunt), but it's enough I'd be willing to lynch rather than no lynching.
Arc is still my preferred lynch but he's looking slightly better recently and there is no momentum there.
Vote: vezokpiraka
He is not voting Vaimes, but decides to vote me, the wagon started by his strongest scum read in order not to get to a no lynch. This seems plausible.
Also wtf does "unwilling to town read GJ" mean? He wasn't even town ffs.
So if no one else shows up the only lynch we can make happen is Vaimes. Which in that case I'd rather no lynch. No lynches are awful horrible things, but if it's that or a town read...
Again, not wanting to lynch his buddy.
There's more stuff like this from grapefruit and Vaimes, but I've made my point. These two people are scum together. I'd even argue that grapefruit thought GJ was third party and that's why he shot him as he was one of the few people who didn't townread GJ.

I mean..if a scum is prone to panic, wouldn't that make them the less dangerous scum?
The speed of which both of these Vezok wagons formed concerns me. Also, determining who (at least publicly) thought GJ to be town seems like a good potential first avenue to explore.
@Vezok wouldn't scum want to shoot the person they felt is most widely townread, assuming that no PRs were suspected?
Also, I make that kill 1% of the time because I was going to hang GJ by his balls toDay.
There is obviously a world where I specifically kill him to make me look good and I expect that vezo is going to take that world and run with it.
I’m actually considering he might be town who’s trapped in a tunnel. I struggle to see scum become a nearly successful CW to me at EoD and think that continuing to push me the next Day will work out at all.
We have dan who thinks Cyan’s apathy is a towntell, whereas GJ told me that Cyan is super apathetic as scum, so. That should be a discussion that happens.
That's definitely not true, I definitely remember having town reads on you in previous games.
Nope!
We’ve had exactly one towngame together. You liked only one post of mine, and it was one that made me look super unalgined with flipped scum. So it was more that than you even thinking I was town.
I can accept that you will always find me scummy, but you parking your vote on me and not really doing anything else is of no help to anyone.
I need tonight's good time
(Seriously)
for the aesthetic
I'm willing to move my vote to KJ. His vote Vezok post is comically scummy.
Vezok or no balls
Not willing to move to Vezo then?
gg good night
I'll count up votes and end the day when I get home.
