There is what, 5 mins left? Is anyone else online besides me, Pa, Shadow and SL? Because all 3 of you are on Killjoy, so even if I swung over, I couldnt prevent the no-lynch.
@Rodemy, are you still around? I am tired and want to sleep. Let's figure this out.
you are reminded that the Day does not end until I post and say it does, so you may continue posting and voting after the deadline countdown has expired.
Blah, forget it then. I have to get ready for a 12 hour workday in 5 1/2 hours. If someone wants to try and hammer JeY, that's their call. I am done staying up to jump around.
I think JeY would give more info (and frankly, if she is town I think she is a mislynch waiting to happen given her play), but I am willing to vote Zionite if you aren't willing to vote JeY.
Accusations fly thick and fast. As the hangovers begin to clear, they fly faster and thicker. But not thick nor fast enough. A bell tolls to signal the changing of the hour, and the Chief Justice is not a man to be kept waiting. He raises his gavel to call time, but a voice rings out to stop him.
“Him”.
A man stands suddenly alone. He looks smaller with no-one around him. A boy in a big coat with tattered gloves.
“Not me sirs, not me. I might not be the most honest oik in the city, but regicide? That’s way above my pay grade.”
The Chief Justice raises an eyebrow to the rabble. Everyone suddenly finds their shoes terribly interesting. With no objection, the executioner steps forward, seizing the urchin by the scruff of his neck. The boy struggles against the massive hands to no avail.
As the noose is tightened around his neck, he is asked for his last words.
“You ought to keep better track of your wallet, mister” he mumbles despondently, dropping a purse of money at the executioner’s feet.
A shove, a jerk, a crack. The thief hangs.
Zionite has been lynched. He was Billy “Fingers” Malone, Street Urchin - Town Vanilla

Thieving’s a good job, mate. Out of doors, challenging work. And there’s always a purse of coins or a valuable item that’s insufficiently guarded. Hell, if they really wanted to keep them they’d take better care of them. It’s a form of charity in a way.
Ever since you were young, you’ve been a natural at receiving charity. Sure sometimes you had to use a knife to cut some strings, or misdirection to get in close enough, but there’s no rule that says that it has to be easy to get given something. Truth be told, you do enjoy the challenge.
The King’s feast isn’t likely to be big on the challenge, but it is likely to be big on donors to the cause, and you could do with some more fashionable rags. And a new pair of tattered fingerless gloves. And your forlorn hat is so last season.
Fortunately, your coat has a lot of very deep pockets.
It is now Night 2, which will last for about 72 hours.
A different bell tolls this morning, much smaller and more tinkly. Breakfast time. You forlornly hope that they might have found something palatable to cook overnight.
On your way, you notice Vaimes asleep in an alcove. Not a very comfortable position, but it takes all sorts. You shake his shoulder to wake him up, but he just pitches forward onto the flagstones. A moment of panic turns to relief when you notice a small, bloody hole in his back. This then turns into nausea as he starts to leak blood.
The eponymous proprietor of Harry Bag's Butchery and Coronery Emporium: Meats, Pies, Autopsies (Cold Cuts While We Cut Colds!) is summoned, and he inspects the corpse. He pronounces Vaimes an excellent pie filling and then, after a hushed conversation with the Chief Justice, he instead pronounces Vaimes very dead, murdered no less.
Vaimes has been killed. He was Doctor Nicholas Liston - Town Doctor.
“NURSE! My Tools!”
There’s no time. This man is dying.
The Nurse rushes in and hands over your medical bag. Seeing the patient, she gasps out loud. Surely nothing can be done to save him?
“Not today you son of a *****!”
You snap open your bag and pull out a handful of leeches. With practised swiftness, you arrange them around the man’s body. They clamp on and immediately begin sucking out the man’s blood. Good quality surgical leeches are hard to come by, but you don’t skimp when life is on the line, no matter what your penny-pinching boss says.
Choking back tears, hands working over the leeches, you whisper “Live God damn you, live”.
The Nurse takes his wrist and shakes her head. You close your eyes. It never gets easier. Never.
But you can’t just give up.

KoolKoal: Feel free to take this with a grain of salt since self meta isn't particularly helpful, but I think I get scumread mostly for style over substance, but also for a certain lack of substance over style. It's not so much what I AM posting most of the time (though sometimes that can seem bad) but what I'm NOT posting. I've been told I come to non-obvious conclusions a lot, so when I post, quite a bit of the time there's jumps in logic that people can't follow and they think that's scummy. I get that accusation about a lot of questions I ask specifically. People call them "busy work" when the questions are legit etc.
As far as things to ignore, I can't think of anything. I would suggest you focus less on what I'm doing and more on how I'm doing it. That's probably more likely to be accurate. Like I've just said, what I do tends to come off a little weird, but if you look for how I do it, mindset comes into play and maybe you figure out something useful.

But I already raised an eyebrow when so many people agreed I would be a mislynch; so why should I be lynched?

@Cantripmancer I know you were thrust into a game towards the end of a deadline and you probably had stuff to do, but why the radio silence and not even a "Definitely can't make the deadline" post? I'm not happy that you skated effortlessly to the end of the Day.
Also, do you know why I wanted to lynch your slot?
Jey is full of reasons she can't explain things right now/ at all/ whatever.

"The pen isn't red, but it could be something else that maybe compliments with red to make purple."
It's what you're trying to say in a roundabout way. Having nothing, and having something that can't be rationalized are logically two different concepts (hence 'I didn't say that!') but are effectively the same thing; the end result is nothing in both cases.

Something I probably should've done yesterday instead. If I wasn't driving around that time I would've definitely switched my vote.

@JeyK and Cantrip, can you both make cases/share thoughts on each other? I'm thinking that we should figure this out toDay.
@Jey, why the vote on Killjoy, considering late yesterDay you didn't want to lynch him? Why not any of the other players you think are scum?
@Rodemy, do something. You popped in yesterDay to comment on my "I'll hammer" post, but didn't say anything about the ongoing debate/wagon.
Looking at the votes on each Day...
Day 1 - Rhand
Grapefruit21 - 9 (Anaklusmos, Kabazame, EternalLurker, Pa Tennis, Vaimes, Study Latin, Killjoy, Grapefruit21, shadowlancerx)
JeY k - 3 (Tubba Fett, Rhand, Toastboy)
Kabazame - 2 (LnGrrrR, JeY k)
Killjoy - 1 (Rodemy)
Not Voting - 1 (Zionite)
Day 2 - Zionite
Zionite - 8 (Kabazame, Toastboy, Jey K, Killjoy, Shadowlancerx, Study Latin, Pa Tennis, LnGrrrR)
JeY k - 4 (Tubba Fett, Cantripmancer, Rodemy, Zionite)
Killjoy - 2 (Anaklusmos, Vaimes)
(And just because that last votecount was a crapshow, here's the one before posted by PaTennis)
JeY k - 5 (Tubba Fett, Cantripmancer, Rodemy, Zionite, Pa Tennis)
Zionite - 5 (Kabazame, Toastboy, Jey K, LnGrrrR, Killjoy)
Killjoy - 4 (Anaklusmos, Study Latin, Vaimes, Shadowlancer)
Hmm. I need to reread KillJoy and PaTennis. Latin's place on both wagons is noticeable, but skimming his iso he still reads towny, and before the late "vote someone to prevent a no-lynch" he was on KJ.

Scumteam probably has a roleblocker or something. Otherwise I don't think they wouldn't have risked letting Kaba live. Not sure how much that matters with two PRs down and another out of shots though.
@jey if you don't understand the difference between "you have no reasons" and "you can't/won't explain your reasons" I'm not really sure what to tell you.
I think [Killjoy/Jey/Lngrrr] contains 2-3 scum most of the time. Down to lynch any of them.
Mostly V/LA through Tuesday. Will try to check in.
I'm fairly sure you were town reading me before. What changed, Jey?
In this post post I'm hesitant to lynch you but I clearly don't say 'you're town'. I draw connection to you and Pa Tennis, which is why you might have thought that.

@LnGrrrR Cantrip hasn't posted anything that I can add to my case on EternalLurker. I have open questions to him that I hope provide those additions, either to confirm tunneling to that I actually hit scum (which I'm still confident in). If you want my thoughts, go find them.
Also, again, hesitant to lynch. I wasn't crazy about it but I can't figure out what I actually think and because I'm bad at this game I'm not sure what a lot of things indicate toward in alignment. After Zionite flipped town I liked Killjoy a lot less. Kabazame derailed himself with the cop thing but my eyebrows are a bit raised with the one-shot thing and drawing the NK.
I've been trying to lynch JeY for two days now. Can anyone tell me why we shouldn't? Latin, you've stated that you're sure JeY will flip town. Why? Vote JeY
Actually, how was claiming an attempt to bait the kill? It seemed like your claim was to explain your read change. And if I remember correctly, you were suspected of being scum way before that. So...
He "cleared" his scummate? That makes sense. The blatant outright statement of changing his read and then beating around the bush before claiming because he was "too tired of waiting"
I'm down for a kaba kill.

Pa: Can you help me figure out why you're seeing Jey/Ln as a team? I got to thinking today that they could potentially be scum seperately (specifically Ln with Anak, then Jey has been scummy today already) but I'm not seeing a connection.
I don't see Kaba ever being scum here. Well... like 2%. Statistically it's not worth considering for me. Scum aren't in the position for a hail mary cop claim.
LnGrrR: How do you feel about Anak agian? I don't recall if I've asked you about him specifically.

I kinda wanna say Jey and Rodemy are unaligned because both came into today trying to lynch the cop (and scum would have to be crazy to do that) but Rodemy is, in fact, crazy enough to try that. So, I'm unsure.

@Killjoy, I liked the way Study Latin opened the game by asking for scum meta. Especially with it being at attack from Lurker/Cantrip, it feels far more scum vs town than TvT or bussing. His defense against Kabazame's "fancy words" attack felt pretty townie too. He did't seem ruffled or stressed, just explaining himself.
I don't think him helping Tubba is indicative of any alignment. He isn't afraid to admit when he's wrong, like when he admits that he misread something to Lurker who was attacking him earlier. He could've said the Shadow vs EL thing was scum vs town and try to attack/bus EL, but he didn't. Called out non-voters.
Overall, he interacts with lots of people, and he asks sensible questions. I don't see any scummy attacks.
he
Granted, he was a lot more talkative and towny D1, but I'm still pretty confident he's town, even if there are a few posts that raise my eyebrows, he isn't on my radar toDay.
Anak is leanscum for me, mainly due to the fact that I haven't read many posts by him that made me go "Yeah, this guy could be town." I've mostly been focused on a few players, and some of my reads are fuzzy/null. Anak is in that pool.
I would rather lynch Cantrip/Lurker than JeY. That said, considering I was willing to lynch yesterDay, not sure where you are getting that from. Right now, scumpool consists of Cantrip/Lurker, you, Anak, Shadow and Killjoy. That's where I want to look toDay.
