TL;DR I have no idea why I don't like shadowlancerx I'll try to re-read and figure it out but I'm certain it'll suck.
This was something that jumped out at me. I have a hard time seeing scum post something like this.
"I need to mislynch townies to win. I want to mislynch this guy, because...well, I don't know! And my reasons will probably be bad. You should lynch him anyways, and definitely not me!"
I guess it could be useful as a stalling tactic, but for how early this occurred in the game, I don't think so.
Re-reading so I can give something more substantial than 'bad feeling' as my explanation for votes or dislikes.
EDIT: INCOMING WALL OF TEXT I DIDN'T REALIZE I'D FIND SO MUCH TO RESPOND TO SORRY I ALSO SPAMMED A LITTLE ;-; I WAS HAVING FUN OKAY
EDIT 2: Oh god it got even longer I'm so sorry
I think this post is really town.
And I think I'm rejecting the Jey/PaT scumbuddies world now. Dunno if PaT would instruct Jey to openly buddy him if they were scum together, that kind of thinking is 3deep5me.
---
Yeah, I don't really want to go through her entire ISO, I think she's town
If there's a post that someone thinks offers valuable insight into Jey that makes her more likely to be mafia, speak now, otherwise I'm moving on to Kaba.
I had jokes up here but I lost my post becuase I keep forgetting to follow my number one rule 'don't write posts in the browser'
Something something Taco Bell, reasons to live.
@jey the people on his wagon are probably a good place to look. why would killjoy being town make me scum?
So this is the response I lost and I'm really upset, but in a nutshell I feel like both of your pushes on Grapefruit and Killjoy are flowing the same, and after two in a row I'd be fed up with your mislynches and take matters into my own hands.
But... You're not Iso, I'm not a vig.
That was a really good god damn game. I still give him ***** about it even though it's been a few years

Please post soon Cantrip, I'm not sure I see any light or the end of this tunnel D:
I prefer a Tubba or Kabaz lynch, and I'm fine with a Zionite or KJ lynch.
Like, other that a couple of good posts from Zionite, I'm kinda weirded out that nothing today has made me inclined to feel strongly outside of those 4.
Also, my townread of Rodemy is based on his early reaction to EL, where he got irritated and basically said "fine screw you and your canoe". It felt like such a ridiculously townie post that I threw him in the town pile, because I'm not going to have another serious alignment indicator from him in the near future.
@KJ Why do I think you are being fake? Because you had to look for a reason to make my vote look bad, and then call me out for that to try and paint me as scum. Now for essentially the same reason you liked another vote, and your call-out of me backpedaling was something I literally didn't do, and it was that part that actually got you to vote me. So no, I don't believe it to be genuine.
I want to lynch KJ and would settle for Zionite. I don't like the votes or the people on the Kaba wagon and don't see scum from him.
@Vaimes Your entire read on Hey looks to be from stream of consciousness and tone. Do you also think her votes and reasoning through out the game town as well? You mentioned nothing about them which feels weird
As for Jey, I'm pretty sure she's scum but I was also pretty sure grapefruit was scum, so I'm going back and forth because I'm not all that confident atm
It could be that or it could be that your reads are entirely falsified. She's on your reads listas defintie scum now, why?
Quote from Kabazame »
So I have adjusted my reads based on what has happened today
Not what happened on D1? I thought you were going to recalibrate?
As I said, Jey screams scum but so did Grapefruit. There's also the fact that Zionite (who I'm also sure is scum) defended her pretty weakly similarly to how he did GF, which makes me worried she's a mislynch and Zion will try to beat his chest about how he knew she was town (like he's doing with GF today)... so I'd rather just lynch Zion
Yes, I tried to recalibrate, but on reread my reads didn't change at all, so there's nothing I can do about that. I can't force myself to read things a different way
Anyway since I don't feel like hiding it anymore I am town cop and scanned Toast TOWN last night. My sanity is guaranteed so Toast is either town or godfather.
@Toast I think you're a good enough player to realize why my read on you changed between D1 and D2. I really don't want to have to spell this out.
As for Jey, I'm pretty sure she's scum but I was also pretty sure grapefruit was scum, so I'm going back and forth because I'm not all that confident atm
Sorry for the general lack of engagement day 2, I've been busy moving and stuff. I did say though that I liked Killjoy's posts today, because his thought process seems townie and like he's really trying to figure out the game. I think Rodemy is coasting a bit, and Study Latin was too until recently. I also said I like LnGrrR as town based on his posts today when EL started trying to push him. So I have adjusted my reads based on what has happened today
Town - Anak, Toast, Pa Tennis
Lean Town - LnGrrR, Latin, Vaimes, Killjoy, Shadow
Null - Cantrip, Tubba
Lean scum - Rodemy
Scum - Zion, Jey
Oh hey, Kab is scum too.
The deflection is strong with this one.
Question, coasting on what? I was a prime suspect as scum last I read. Sorry, busy week.
Why exactly am I scum again? I forgot.
deflection? I was asked for a reads list and provided one. I didn't even say you were scum I said I'm leaning scum, because you've been in the background a lot. This reaction though is pretty scummy, so good job I guess
@Vaimes Your entire read on Hey looks to be from stream of consciousness and tone. Do you also think her votes and reasoning through out the game town as well? You mentioned nothing about them which feels weird
I mean obviously I stopped before I read any of her votes or reasoning. The original "reasoning" for scumreading shadow seemed more town to me than not vOv
- I also play in Japanese, and I guess English is my "mother tongue" cause all of my school was in the USA but I'm fluent in both
This is awesome.
I played mafia on a Russian forum once, and would like to do it again now that I've improved a lot (I had about 40 posts total in a gamethread of 1000+), but time zones are the worst.
I used to be pretty good at Japanese but gave it up for Russian.
With Kaba's claim, we need to figure out who is a viable lynch. I know Zionite is one wagon, but I am not going to vote for that one. Zionite hasnt been superawesomeobvtown or anything, but I don't see anything that screams scum to me either. He hasnt been super active but that applies to half the players in this game. He has had some weird thoughts that I dont agree with, but I dont see any cheap attacks or misrepresentation. I still think El is scummier than JeY, but barring a change of heart from a lot of players, that isnt happening. And Rodemy will probably skate as a lurker.
@Toast I think you're a good enough player to realize why my read on you changed between D1 and D2. I really don't want to have to spell this out.

Question: If you're 'not all that confident' in your Jey scumread, why is she in your Scum column? That feels a little weird.
@Vaimes Your entire read on Hey looks to be from stream of consciousness and tone. Do you also think her votes and reasoning through out the game town as well? You mentioned nothing about them which feels weird
@BE and Shadow My vote on Lngr was serious, based off of his vote in 24. He unvotes and votes EL, and said that his vote was forced. I see that working for scum in a couple ways, because it's a vote he could go back and claim was serious or not depending on what he needs. It could be RVS because it wasn't quite over, and could be legit because it was his second vote.
Additionally, I don't believe him that he voted because ELs vote felt forced, like all votes around there are forced. I think it's more likely an excuse he put down that sounds good on it's face.
Okay so EL, you have to slow down just a touch. Reading the last couple pages I found myself unintentionally skimming your posts because you were just arguing the smallest details and bringing people down. I personally will vouch for shadows skill after steamrolling me one game as scum, and bussing my ass so hard the next that he carried us to victory. Let's all try to find scum together and not mire the thread down in discussions that aren't going to get us there.
Side note, I think EL and Shadow are both likely town after that back and forth.
@EL you made an interesting statement, why would you try to pocket me? I am most certainly not the best or most vocal player, so what would it gain you to successfully pocket me?
So here's the first post out of RVS. His previous post is just him being sad that RVS is over and a vote on LngrrR.
I'm noting suspicion at LnGrrR here. Suspicion which is never actually mentioned again. He never does anything after this in relation to LnGrrR. His suspicion just kinda... disappears. No poking LnGrrR to try to determine his alignment even.
I'll vote when I want to vote. You guys can attack me for it all you want, but I'm not going to just vote someone when I'm not feeling it to please anyone. Think about this though: what do I gain as scum from doing that? I actually stick out for not voting enough that several people called me on it.
@shadowlancer
My strongest town read is EL because he's very active and confrontational. This is probably the worst town style to emulate because it's the one that gets mislynched the most, so it's probably genuine. As scum there's no real reason to argue over small stuff and make a lot of enemies, so I think he's either town or really playing poorly as scum.
Most enigmatic player... well a lot of people have barely posted so I'm not sure. But Tubba Fett is new and new players are always hard to read because they don't conform to the usual play styles a lot of times. Usually how I read new players is try to get them to slip information they shouldn't have, or look into their interactions with dead players who's alignment is known
@toastboy
- I also play in Japanese, and I guess English is my "mother tongue" cause all of my school was in the USA but I'm fluent in both
- I said shadowlurker vs EL looks like a classic TVT, that doesn't mean I can't be wrong. Outside of that, I think EL looks better
- Yes, votes can be moved as much as I like. But I prefer to move it less because it has more impact. This is a Magic forum, what's more valuable, a common card you have 20 copies of or a Mystic Rare? Basically, my vote is stronger if I vote less frequently because you know I'm serious.
- I am posting more now because there is more to talk about! Honestly the first four pages was just a bunch or arguing about things that didn't really matter. The game is finally starting to pick up
Here's the rub with abstaining from voting like that. You could totally be genuine in your reasoning above, in fact I actually believe you. However, it makes you come off as someone who either doesn't want to rock the boat inadvertantly by voting, or doesn't know who they should vote without drawing scrutiny onto themselves. Who is more likely to want to keep their head down, town or scum? Not voting anyone is one of the best ways to avoid the limelight.
Does that make sense? I want you to commit and vote someone in one of your next 2 posts, I really want to see where your heads at.
@Jey I know you think EL is scum, but I can't for the life of me figure out why you think that. Would greatly appreciate a ELI5 on it, it feels a bit contrived.
Oh hey Grapefruits scum. That's neat.
Vote: Grapefruit21
You in your catch up post cursory reads on everyone, then vote the one person you didn't mention, citing hopping on the wagon. Talk about an action that's trying to let you blend in and back out if needed.
Here's the post where he votes GF. That vote's been discussed.
I want to make a note of his tone regarding Kaba here though. It just feels... weird. Like, the things he's saying that Kaba is doing should harbor some suspicion but he seems to want to give him a second chance? Why would he do that? Unalugned? I think?
Strongly agree with Toast's case against Kaba right now.
Yupo, zero mention of Kaba in my catch up post.
So wait, your counter is that you mention Kaba exactly once, in reference to someone else's case on him? You literally just barned Toast, called it a wagon on Kaba and jumped on. Toast was literally the only one voting Kaba then, so it's not even a wagon yet. What it looks to me is that you were looking to vote someone after catching up, found a case on a softer target, and threw your vote there.
Is OMGUS voting like Kaba did after someone /barn votes him something that scum does? Maybe, but let's be real Grapes vote is poor on its own.
More justification for his GF vote. Pay specific attention to the language. "You literally just barned Toast". "Lets be real". He's confident. Overly so, like I said.
Could you get into why it felt like the former to you? If it's the first time, something dramatic must have shifted fypov.
If you think he's town, then surely the first thing that pops into your head would be "he's pressuring a bad vote" over "fishy white-knighting."
It was the first thought, but then I got a bit paranoid because Zionite has been just about the only person to seemingly town read me. So as I thought about it more I became more worried because he hasn't articulated that town read. It's a gradual development.
Mostly I'm just finding it strange how ironclad people's opinions are right now. Kabazame being EL's top town read is baffling. 3ish people thinking I'm obvious scum is equally baffling. Given the heightened opinions pushing me as scum I am getting paranoid of anyone siding with me who isn't showing their work.
I mean I thought your vote was bad, and your justification wasn't doing you any favors. But I don't once ever recall saying you were obvious scum, but you calling yourself that just makes me all the more glad to have my vote where it is.
Additional justification and a statement where he "doesn't once ever recall calling him obvious scum" Except, look above where "Oh hey GF is scum. Neat." That does in fact imply that he found his scumminess obvious, which...
You in your catch up post cursory reads on everyone, then vote the one person you didn't mention, citing hopping on the wagon. Talk about an action that's trying to let you blend in and back out if needed.
That suggests you think I'm pretty clearly scum Anak. And Kaba's vote was also pretty confident. Maybe it's not specifically saying I'm obv!scum but those are two pretty firm accusations suggesting I am.
GF mentions in the very next post... which Anak never responded to.
Sorry for my vote yesterday, I'm absolute ***** at making and pushing wagons, so this time I had a read on GF and I just stuck to my guns about it. The conviction came from me trying to be strong about my read instead of shooting myself in the foot yet again. Unfortunately I was wrong, but my read was genuine I really disliked GFs vote of KZ and liked his response to pressure even less.
KJ I don't get your wagon analysis. You call my vote bad, KZs vote was almost as bad as mine, yet my vote was the worst and his was the second best?
Jeys frustration feels genuine, but I'm not sure what that means for her alignment. Which is a fun place to be
Here's the apology. He claims he felt bad for lynching a townie and that the conviction came from him trying to be strong in his read. Which, if you think about it... means he was faking confidence.
Also he literally says he's sorry about his vote, which I think is a scumslip.
Why Tubba over myself or Kabaz, who assisted in the mislynch of Grape? Why aren't we more likely scum than someone on the wagon?
Can you explain that second line to me, was it a mistype?
As far as why Tubba, he was my strongest scum read yesterday, and he starts off today by throwing shade and soft defending you, so doing nothing to alleviate the scum vibes coming from him. Additionally, I'm not a huge user of wagonomics, other people have made great points with them, but they are inherently flawed because scum know they exist too.
*off the wagon. Why aren't we more likely scum than someone off the wagon? It was a mistype.
But you say you're not a user of wagonomics... which this really isn't. This is just saying that, unless you have something more substancial on Tubba, that someone ON the townie mislynch wagon is more likely in a vaccuum to be scum than someone off of it.
So I suppose my question then is "What about Tubba makes him more likely scum than one of the people who, from your point of view, might be scum and helped mislynch a townie?"
A bit about Tubba on an unrelated note though... he's acting weird. Like his play has completely changed from yesterday.
I'll do a reread now with Rhand as a focus. I didn't peg him for power role so I want to see if perhaps he was targeted on purpose or more randomly. I also don't like Killjoy's "BlueGrape" word usage, so I'll be closely looking at him, too. JeY is probably town. EL is likely town.

Yes, that's right. Your votes are similar, but not the same. His vote is a lot harder to walk back. From a scum perspective, not only does it potentially make him look bad, it makes it hard to stop looking bad. Yours could theoretically be walked back with something as simple as an apology for a bad vote... which you did.
Whoa hey, I apologized for being wrong in my read, not for my vote. I was not walking back my stance or my vote, but expressing a desire to repent for being wrong. Also what even is "being harder to walk back"? How does a slight ability to "walk a vote back" create such a difference between my and KZs vote? to paint what I was doing in a different light gives me mad scum vibes about you.
@Vaimes I have always had that white noise quality, something that I haven't really ever been able to figure out. Had many discussions about it with various people, as I'm like that in real life too.
I haven't seen a vote yet on Pa that I like, which is making me think he's town by virtue of everyone else hopping on him so badly.
No. He apologized in the effort to make the vote look less bad. I don't see how he can expect me to beleive that he felt bad about lynching a townie.
@Anak, why apologize though? Obviously a lot of people got it wrong as he did get lynched.
Because I felt bad and responsible for getting his wagon going? Despite what EL says, I feel like I was the one who really started that ball rolling. Sure it may be silly to think that, but I did. I am who I am, and sometimes I get too empathetic about these things.
KJs vote and reasoning for me are still bad though. It feels much more like he saw an easy mislynch Target in me and tried to rationalize it than genuinely believing the things he said about me and the wagon analysis
Vote: Killjoy
Here's the post where I'm attacking him for being low hanging fruit (no other reason though. Hasn't disproved my argument, just jumped on me for a reason he came up with just now).
THAT IS LITERALLY WHAT YOU DID TO ME WHEN YOU VOTED ME. COME ON. WHY AM I THE ONLY ONE VOTING HIM HERE?
So to summarize: His suspicion of Lngrr disappeared without a trace, then he faked confidence in his GF read because "he didn't want to shoot himself in the foot", apologizes because he felt bad lyncing a townie SAID NO TOWNIE EVER and voted me because of a reason he came up with randomly and then accused me of doing the same.
I'm down for an Anak lynch right this second. When I get more time I'll read over Jey, Zionite, and Kaba again before deadline.
KoolKoal: Feel free to take this with a grain of salt since self meta isn't particularly helpful, but I think I get scumread mostly for style over substance, but also for a certain lack of substance over style. It's not so much what I AM posting most of the time (though sometimes that can seem bad) but what I'm NOT posting. I've been told I come to non-obvious conclusions a lot, so when I post, quite a bit of the time there's jumps in logic that people can't follow and they think that's scummy. I get that accusation about a lot of questions I ask specifically. People call them "busy work" when the questions are legit etc.
As far as things to ignore, I can't think of anything. I would suggest you focus less on what I'm doing and more on how I'm doing it. That's probably more likely to be accurate. Like I've just said, what I do tends to come off a little weird, but if you look for how I do it, mindset comes into play and maybe you figure out something useful.

Question: If you're 'not all that confident' in your Jey scumread, why is she in your Scum column? That feels a little weird.
At face value, I'm very confident in my Jey scumread. Outside factors make me doubt it, which I've explained what those are. I probably could have explained that better.
That's the problem with JeY imo. She has NO reasons. Claiming gut feelings let's her say whatever she wants about anyone, and then let's her shrug it off when anyone calls her on it. I guess that doesn't necessarily make her scum, but it doesn't make her a useful townie.
Apparently even when I post reasons they're not considered reasons. Not even claimed as 'not good enough', they're just not reasons at all for whatever reason.
Funny coming from the one who's refused to give information the most in the game, seriously.
Not a fan of you as a player at all, Pa Tennis, regardless of alignment. How the hell can you continue to say I have absolutely no reason for anything I say at this point?
---
Unvote
I'm okay with an Anaklusmos lynch.
I don't like Kabazame jumping the gun with the claim, I want to say it feels like scum panicking but he wasn't really under a whole lot of pressure so that doesn't make as much sense.
Sure. I'll just sum up the whole of my issue with Tubba.
Tubba, on D1, was overly cautious. Like, more than people, even new players.
D2, (noteably... after scum!Tubba would have gotten a chance to talk to his team) he's making crazy bold claims (like accusing shadow of scumreading him for disliking his buddy jey). It's a huge contrast that seems unnatural.
I don't see it. I also don't see the Jey/Tubba pair. However, the shift to pushing Jey did come out of the blue, but I don't see Tubba being scum because of that. It seems like an assumption to believe that a new-player like Tubba would immediately shift gears after talking to a scumteam, thus I think this logic is unfounded for finding Tubba being scum. I'm not saying it couldn't happen, but I don't understand why you're seeing it here. Do you think his push on Jey makes him scum?
This is a very good example of a loaded question, and people accused me of leading Tubba earlier in the game.
It's not a loaded question. I don't really see why you think it is.
Why is "people accusing you of leading Tubba" relevent to this post?
I went back a read the question/response and realized it wasn't as bad as I thought it was. I was originally thinking you were leading Tubba into a specific answer with that question, and that was scummy, but I re-read it, and changed my mind.
This is very incoherent, could you possibly explain more?
I don't think I've EVER been right about Pa Tennis's player's alignment in any game I've played with him. I can't remember ever being right anyway. I frequently scumread him for his playstyle. I fear that I'm doing it this time.
Ahh, I see, it's a meta issue. Prior to him revealing that he was an alt, what was your read of him?
@Pa, does the above regarding you read as genuine?
I was at first scum reading shadow for that hammer, but I think I'm wrong.
Could you possibly explain where this doubt stems from?
Those two are fairly relevant to today.
LnGrrrR finally sums up what is weird about JeY, JeY was hiding in the "I can't make pushes" statement against EL. This is kinda the thing I was asking for. Anyone else care to comment?
@Toast I think you're a good enough player to realize why my read on you changed between D1 and D2. I really don't want to have to spell this out.
As for Jey, I'm pretty sure she's scum but I was also pretty sure grapefruit was scum, so I'm going back and forth because I'm not all that confident atm
Sorry for the general lack of engagement day 2, I've been busy moving and stuff. I did say though that I liked Killjoy's posts today, because his thought process seems townie and like he's really trying to figure out the game.
I forgot.
Does anyone else find this quite scummy in light of Kabazame claiming?
@Latin I think this playstyle is different enough from my own that it really shouldn't apply. I think it's just an excuse to back off me.
I was thinking along the same lines. You've mentioned previously this game that you've been attempting to play differently, so I don't see why Killjoy is unable to read you because of 'meta' reasons, when meta appears mostly inapplicable. Nor does the general indecision make any sense.
Are you confident this is scum!Killjoy dodging a read on you?
I would vote JeY, Shadow, and Rodemy.
I'd need some more convincing to go Zionite, I haven't seen it myself.
Aside from scum reading you, what don't you like about me?
And with a day left, we kind of need a lynch. I would like to emplore anyone willing to come over to Tubba with me. Also, since Kabaz is off the table for today, Tubba is my preffered.
@Vaimes: I'm not counter claiming. Cop is the easiest role to fake. And I don't believe it. But your point of counter claim is noted. I'm vanilla, ftr. I would've done a gambit but it's much too late and other players wouldn't buy it. Quite fun when it works though.
Re: soft push - I'm too busy. I'd love to fully flesh out a case, but I don't have much time. Last game I did that and I ended up tunneling town anyway. Not my brightest moment. Rest assured I wouldn't have signed up if I knew I couldn't case someone like I want to, but I'm not ready to give up or make someone else pick up my game. I'll finish it, day 2 or day x. So I guess my pushes are going to be soft, like pillow punches.
Well, I had hoped to have several hours yesterday to catch up, but things happened, and I did not. I just put in about 45 minutes, which is all I can spare right now, but hopefully a little more tonight.
Right now I'm only at the end of page 4 (sorry!), and I want to lynch Kabazame and Jey. Latin, Pa, Rhand all feel fairly townie in their attempts to figure out the game. Shadow, too, but I want to see more before I jump back in that pocket.
It looks like my vote is on Jey; I'm fine with that staying there for now.
I will do what I can to finish catching up so that I can make something of an informed contribution before the deadline.
hum
right I was looking at Jey posts
"I need to mislynch townies to win. I want to mislynch this guy, because...well, I don't know! And my reasons will probably be bad. You should lynch him anyways, and definitely not me!"
I guess it could be useful as a stalling tactic, but for how early this occurred in the game, I don't think so.
The "thanks for voting me" is either really town, or one buddy thanking another for nudging them.
If Jey is scum, I'd probably look into PaT a little more.
I mean, that post I quoted just flips around with no definite reads and avoiding the question in the beginning felt scummy.
The tone reads new scum trying to sound townie. I feel like there would be more reason for kab to put for jey as scum.
As well as a "not feeling" like explaining a read change. Feels like there is none and kab just can't think of anything.
Something something Taco Bell, reasons to live.
anyway.
My skin was crawling when I read it. That's already not good enough so I'll write something more substantial when I can.
So this is the response I lost and I'm really upset, but in a nutshell I feel like both of your pushes on Grapefruit and Killjoy are flowing the same, and after two in a row I'd be fed up with your mislynches
and take matters into my own hands.But... You're not Iso, I'm not a vig.
That was a really good god damn game. I still give him ***** about it even though it's been a few years

Please post soon Cantrip, I'm not sure I see any light or the end of this tunnel D:

Like, other that a couple of good posts from Zionite, I'm kinda weirded out that nothing today has made me inclined to feel strongly outside of those 4.
Also, my townread of Rodemy is based on his early reaction to EL, where he got irritated and basically said "fine screw you and your canoe". It felt like such a ridiculously townie post that I threw him in the town pile, because I'm not going to have another serious alignment indicator from him in the near future.
I can't force myself to read things a different way
So stop voting me and lynch Zion plz
deflection? I was asked for a reads list and provided one. I didn't even say you were scum I said I'm leaning scum, because you've been in the background a lot. This reaction though is pretty scummy, so good job I guess
That's one read I was correct on. Let's make it two by flipping Zionite mafia.
I mean obviously I stopped before I read any of her votes or reasoning. The original "reasoning" for scumreading shadow seemed more town to me than not vOv
I played mafia on a Russian forum once, and would like to do it again now that I've improved a lot (I had about 40 posts total in a gamethread of 1000+), but time zones are the worst.
I used to be pretty good at Japanese but gave it up for Russian.
[B]Vote JeYK[/vote]
With Kaba's claim, we need to figure out who is a viable lynch. I know Zionite is one wagon, but I am not going to vote for that one. Zionite hasnt been superawesomeobvtown or anything, but I don't see anything that screams scum to me either. He hasnt been super active but that applies to half the players in this game. He has had some weird thoughts that I dont agree with, but I dont see any cheap attacks or misrepresentation. I still think El is scummier than JeY, but barring a change of heart from a lot of players, that isnt happening. And Rodemy will probably skate as a lurker.
Club Flamingo Wins: 1!
Vote JeyK Babies kill brain cells.
Club Flamingo Wins: 1!
Lol. Ok. Time for a big ole Anak post.
Here's the post where he votes GF. That vote's been discussed.
I want to make a note of his tone regarding Kaba here though. It just feels... weird. Like, the things he's saying that Kaba is doing should harbor some suspicion but he seems to want to give him a second chance? Why would he do that? Unalugned? I think?
More justification for his GF vote. Pay specific attention to the language. "You literally just barned Toast". "Lets be real". He's confident. Overly so, like I said.
Additional justification and a statement where he "doesn't once ever recall calling him obvious scum" Except, look above where "Oh hey GF is scum. Neat." That does in fact imply that he found his scumminess obvious, which... GF mentions in the very next post... which Anak never responded to.
Here's the apology. He claims he felt bad for lynching a townie and that the conviction came from him trying to be strong in his read. Which, if you think about it... means he was faking confidence.
Also he literally says he's sorry about his vote, which I think is a scumslip.
No. He apologized in the effort to make the vote look less bad. I don't see how he can expect me to beleive that he felt bad about lynching a townie.
Here's the post where I'm attacking him for being low hanging fruit (no other reason though. Hasn't disproved my argument, just jumped on me for a reason he came up with just now).
Stalling tactic is a good descriptor. Jey is full of reasons she can't explain things right now/ at all/ whatever.
Seems like part of it is playstyle but I'm not sure how much.
Cool less reading for me.
I'll play again baby
At face value, I'm very confident in my Jey scumread. Outside factors make me doubt it, which I've explained what those are. I probably could have explained that better.
That's the problem with JeY imo. She has NO reasons. Claiming gut feelings let's her say whatever she wants about anyone, and then let's her shrug it off when anyone calls her on it. I guess that doesn't necessarily make her scum, but it doesn't make her a useful townie.
I'd need some more convincing to go Zionite, I haven't seen it myself.
¤.†.¤ The OceanLink ¤.†.¤
I assume he asked you about it at some point.
@Toast: Okay, you're reasonable. I get where you're coming from, but I still feel misrepresented by your characterization.
Kabazame is the better lynch.
With the way you've been playing, a soft push is not going to cut it.
---
I don't see it.
I went back a read the question/response and realized it wasn't as bad as I thought it was. I was originally thinking you were leading Tubba into a specific answer with that question, and that was scummy, but I re-read it, and changed my mind.
Ahh, I see, it's a meta issue. Prior to him revealing that he was an alt, what was your read of him?
@Pa, does the above regarding you read as genuine?
---
Sure thing.
Those two are fairly relevant to today.
Playstyle clashes.
---
Does anyone else find this quite scummy in light of Kabazame claiming?
---
I'm interested in hearing more about this.
Are you confident this is scum!Killjoy dodging a read on you?
And with a day left, we kind of need a lynch. I would like to emplore anyone willing to come over to Tubba with me. Also, since Kabaz is off the table for today, Tubba is my preffered.
He's scummy, actively lurking, and a lot of people are like "yeah he's not super town but let's leave him alone for ~reasons~."
But if I can't have him, I will literally vote whoever is the biggest wagon as long as they aren't a townread. Might mean a Killjoy lynch.
Start compromising.
---
But does this mean he's scum?
Could you possibly summarize why you're pushing Zionite?
Right now I'm only at the end of page 4 (sorry!), and I want to lynch Kabazame and Jey. Latin, Pa, Rhand all feel fairly townie in their attempts to figure out the game. Shadow, too, but I want to see more before I jump back in that pocket.
It looks like my vote is on Jey; I'm fine with that staying there for now.
I will do what I can to finish catching up so that I can make something of an informed contribution before the deadline.
EL had a few good points against it, but not enough.
Vote: Killjoy
choo choo
Let's get a lynch.
I want people to actually look at Tubba tomorrow.
