I swaer to god, the firsf person to say "falseclaim" gets a vote to the face. >:[
Anyway, now that we've settled the "ophi" conundrum, lets focus on zomg.
He has been.. too playful.
My reason for voting him is this:
As i recall, i was mislynched for what i did. Hince, seen as scummy. In fact, zomg was a vote on that wagon. Second to last i believe.
Why, in mafia!God's name, would you do something that forced the town to mislynch me d1 in that game.
I get that "joke" is an answer here, but you seem to have a ton of those with very little original content.
Also, you just played a game with me since. You could have done that plenty if that reason you gave me was legit.
Lastly, that vote on d_v was grossly unoriginal and helps in no way.
I do believe that answering someone elses question to another player is something scum do? (Got me mislynched)
Can someone with more of a grasp on the idea explain for the not so informed?

Thank you for choosing
Rodemy Pizza
It’s not the best choice, but it’s a choice nonetheless
After rereading the thread and the threads Rodemy played in, this Rodemy feels very much town for me
Can you elaborate on what made you feel this way?
Rodemy is aggressively trying to lynch someone every game when he was town. Then the mafia convinced town to lynch him, like in Janken. Mafia Rodemy is similarly aggressive but lurks a lot more and generally does not contribute to town's progress.
Oh. Wow. Points. Damn good ones.
Sorry ophi, even i'm impressed.
I was flattered at the moment, but as I reread the thread, I realize that Rodemy is actively playing as the Town version of him that I described. He actively posts a lot of stuff, but many of them feels like filler. His accusations of Ghostling, who to me sounds more like a confused town member, sounds way too over the top, even for Rodemy stanards. This sounds fishy enough, but the more recent post convinced my further that Rodemy is potentially a scum. As explained earlier, he tries to clear me by asking me my role. and he said this:
If you still think i am scum after that question, you might not be smart.
Rodemy is trying to pander to the noob mentality of trying hard to be recognized as a good player. But asking a person which way his role is written out does not matter to his alignment at all. I am pretty noobish, but this can't fool me.
Comparing vanilla role PMs between goons and VTs is apples and oranges. Vanilla Town or Town Vanilla are both valid titles. Goon Mafia is definitely not, therefore Mafia Goon has no bearing on which word will come first in the VT role PM.
Look, i asked you the same question you asked vaimes. Your mentality with that question was: the person i asked about should be either scummy or impressive.
You literally just came in, answer my questions so i can get an idea of your alignment.
Or just, ya know, deflect. Which isn't very helpful.

Also clarify if that Neutral claim was serious or not.
100%
Hence my play this game.
I'll suppress my knee-jerk reaction of "kill it with fire" and assume just a standard "trust it as far as you can throw it" stance. Contribute or gtho.
Hey guys im out and about tonight but i did see a couple of questions for me, ill get to those in the morning and if anyone else has one just add to the pile.
As much as id love to wait for Atog to answer my question holding my vote for an unknown period of time isnt going to progress anything.
Vote D_V
Any chance of some content?
This is a horrible deflection, especially on the heels of D_V confirming that he's actually claiming neutral. Why, exactly, are you voting D_V?
Just to make sure that I don't die on the first two days, I am McCree, the vanilla town.
Hey, ophi, since you wantes to claim, does your role pm say "vanilla town" or "town vanilla"?
I'm pretty sure this only works if the person falseclaiming explicitly states, on their own, "I'm Vanilla Town" when the PMs say "Town Vanilla" (or vice versa). If you have to ask them about it, it pretty much obliterates the effectiveness. Yeah, Ophid's new, but even new players can tell when you're asking a baited question.
Pushing for a lynch that ends up flipping scum is something.
Town has no incentive to leave you alone and give you a free win if you're not going to pull your weight.
Your choice.
How is me giving you a scum member not pulling my own weight?
That's like 1/4 of their team.
I did 25% of the town's work as a neutral.
NEAT.
Unless you're actually scum, bussing. You one-lining suspicion on Zomg early on certainly does not serve as a "get out of jail free" card, and doesn't even sorta make you the primary force behind his lynch.

So...Rodemy's acting like town so he must be scum? At that point, I feel like that argument becomes NAI, as how do you decipher when Rod's town and when he's just acting like town?
You've developed a theory as to why I asked Vaimes what he thought about you? I'd love to hear it.
And get accused of answering questions for other people?
But yeah, I can think of one reason why you might do that. It has something to do with you calling Vaimes bossy. But you go ahead and answer the question first.

It didn't have anything to do with calling Vaimes bossy. So let's hear it.

No u.
But seriously, I'll tell you my theory if you'll tell me your impression of me based on what you remember from playing with me before. (And what was your avatar back when you were swishh?)
@Omega: Lurking until the prod deadline tomorrow isn't going to make me forget the questions I asked you. Get back in here and answer 'em.
It's gonna be a struggle to lynch anyone toDay, tbh. Since no deadline means no incentive to be active, and everyone is lurking so you can't call out one specific person for it.
I'm probably gonna vote Hunt at some point and watch him squirm.
@Hunt: You didn't respond to my questions in #307, and your continued lack of commitment makes me ask something similar: You now say the scum are lurking. Who do you think we should lynch (or, at least, pressure)? Why? If the scum are lurking, what is your plan for drawing them out?
@Hunt: You don't seem inclined to follow either of the current wagons (Omega or Ghosting), but have expressed suspicion in Rod and Rhand. Who do you think we should lynch? Why? Is your vote on Rhand now serious, or is it still an RVS-carryover?
It was just an RVS carryover. I'm actually looking at Scarbo the heaviest this second. Rod is still null, but is in my lynch pool. Only thing I have against that is I don't want him to die again so early. It gets frustrating as a player to die so early in games over and over.
I've also since unvoted, btw.
Plan is the same as always, let's flip some peeps, narrow the pool, get more informed decisions flowing.
Vaimes you're being rather bossy. What do you think about cantrip?
And what does that say about my alignment?
I have literally no thoughts on him without rereading. Why him specifically?
Thats what i'm trying to figure out.
Also why vaimes?
Okay, why did you post this? I get that you wanted to highlight that you were trying the same thing, but why not see if he answers Vaimes for asking the same question, and then extrapolate your opinion outward from there. To me, that would have shown some heavy buddying on their part, which would have been useful info down the road... Although this does shed some light on your alignment in my eyes. (Pushes you more to a town lean if you weren't sure) Scum Rodemy would have DEFINITELY used that as a way to tie two people together later.
@cantrip My logic is that i towncleared him. If he thinks scum would ever do that, then.. blah blah dummy.
Also, i know he is telling the truth.
I am going with the logic that @Mod would not use different lingo for each player. For instance, i'd make a game where all players are VT, because i like the sound better.
Its a stretch and maybe a little bit playing on the mods mind...
So, if his was different than say *cough cough* anyone elses, it would be suspicious.
Idea came when he said "i am mcree, the town vanilla"

I asked scarbo if it was alignment indicative in an attempt to squeeze some content out of him.
Garcia'ing is answering a question directed at someone else before they answer it. It's a no-no.
Why do you want my thoughts on Cantrip specifically? And being bossy could be, if you know the person and in what kind of situations they'd be more likely to be bossy in.
Based on this page alone, my read on him is "reasonable and probably would not lynch."
I apologize, but I am not going to have the time to devote to this game that I thought I would. I do not want to make the game suffer, or be hounded about my activity level, so I think that I should get out now while it will cause a minimum amount of disruption.

What about Scarbo besides the lurk makes you want to lynch him? And the conversation early thread was that Ophid was the one who constantly died early; I didn't think Rodemy had expressed that frustration? Regardless, I see "I find Rod scummy enough to pursue his lynch, but I'm not going to because I don't want to be mean" to be scummy. If he's seriously a scumread, you shouldn't be avoiding taking action (voting/pressuring/questioning/etc) just because you want to be nice (or want to *appear* to be nice).

Yes, hence the shift in my questions.

That's not a plan for drawing out the lurkers; it's more of a "hey, this is how to play Mafia". I still don't feel like you're committing to anything or even really providing reads other than "maybe Scarbo, and Rod, of course, but nah, because I'm nice".
@cantrip My logic is that i towncleared him. If he thinks scum would ever do that, then.. blah blah dummy.
I think this is bad logic. Scum townclear for townpants all the time. And Ophid was already generally seen as town by a majority, I think. Plus you didn't *really* townclear him; you just modgamed, badly.
I asked scarbo if it was alignment indicative in an attempt to squeeze some content out of him.

Booooooooo! (But I totally understand, and I appreciate you doing this now rather than after multiple prods/days later.)
I guess if zomg flips scum, we can leave DV alone unless it looks like he's a Serial Killer or something. Worth pointing out that he claimed Neutral, but not what kind.
"You are McCree, Town Vanilla."
I will be posting the reasons soon. I just arrived at Shanghai and is super tired.

Bad Rod. That was horribly angle-shoot-y.
What did i do? If you are talking about my comment to ophi:
I basically just towncleared Ophi.
What's your logic on that?
It's still frowned upon.
scarbo, I'm gonna Garcia that and suggest you drop it for several really good reasons.
Just a stupid question. But i'm sure you already know the answer as to why i did that. :>
Just by knowing what order Brinatoo said my role doesn't make you or me any more town.
You can very certainly be scum and know the order in which your role is laid out.
Like this: you are ***, Mafia Goon.
And you would know what order my role is supposed to be in.
Rod said this earlier in his post:
I was flattered at the moment, but as I reread the thread, I realize that Rodemy is actively playing as the Town version of him that I described. Conversation over.
(It's kind of hard to change the subject when it takes forever for people you're waiting on to post, but such is life during the holidays.)
I'm town. Rod is town. Ophidia is town. I'm going to step in and put a stop to that TvT fight before Ophidia starts it up again.
And then everyone else is vaguely lynchable.
Blah. I'll probably reread at some point in what remains of 2016.
Vaimes you're being rather bossy. What do you think about cantrip?
Also, "Rodemy is scum because he is playing like town" is not... anything.
Anyway, scarbo, nice of you to join.
Look at zomg and tell me your thoughts?
I'll be back the 2nd.
Rhands Inn Brothel Haberdashery must be booming this time of year.
Guess i'll have to wait til next year for some decent posts. Siiigggh
I don't see anything impressive or inherently scummy. Should I?
@zomg: Sorry, what was your post-game question? I don't recall calling you horribad, just 'basically worthless.'
Having answered my question to you, i can assume you think cantrip is scummy?
Why?
Which and why?
I won't be posting a lot until the 7th.
Sorry about that.

@Rod: Explain that last line of logic to me?
Is the bolded an in-joke or actual lingo? If the latter, can you explain it to me?
So...Rodemy's acting like town so he must be scum? At that point, I feel like that argument becomes NAI, as how do you decipher when Rod's town and when he's just acting like town?

I have a theory on both of these questions, but I'll let Scarbo respond first.
