I put so much effort into this game and I'm really proud of myself for how I played.
Even though I was townreading half the scumteam and scumread the third one for the wrong reasons.
This makes me happy, because it means I did exactly what I was trying to do, and did it well.
Silver is just amazing. Vaimes, you should definitely be proud of that win.
Town I'm pretty darn proud of you for getting that win, slightly annoyed, but super proud.
There were some lol lines though.
Whoever it was who said that silver and I needed to learn how to bus made me chuckle
Rodemy, Tom, I really enjoyed playing with you guys, sorry for drawing just a touch too much attention to myself the day I got lynched, my head wasn't completely there because I believed silver would topple pretty non questioningly.
Silver...gosh darn it well done. And I hope you town read me so hard in every game (and I hope to be town in most of them). I know I said sorry for pocketing you, but I'm glad you overcame. I wondered if asking you if you were trying to pocket me would have been too much on the nose, but it worked out.
it didnt end up mattering because it was all tinfoil worlds that werent true, but i hate how much hidden information there was in this setup.
thats not what open setups do.
So now that the game is over, I feel I offer some apologies.
Firstly to Tordeck. I really acted out more than I should have and let my temper get the best of me quite a few times. I said some stuff I probably shouldn't have and I probably had you regretting accepting me as Clara's replacement, so I'm sorry for disrupting the flow of your game. Despite myself I did enjoy playing, but I don't think I'm ever going to replace in again - I'd rather be scum read for my own actions rather than someone else.
To Vaimes. I'm sorry I railed so hard against you yesterday morning. I wanted to believe in you but when you weren't there on that D2 wagon IIRC and then you started flipping around on Silver it really made me paranoid and I felt you were pocketing me. I took it too far and I'm looking forward to playing with you again on here.
To Eco. I'm also sorry that I pushed so hard on you regarding my slot and for uh insulting you. I'm used to speaking my mind more heatedly and I overstepped the line, I hope to play with you also again some day.
To Clara. I also railed on you for why I was being scumread. It wasn't wholly your fault(looking at you Rod!), so sorry for calling you out so hard throughout the game.
To Seppel. Sorry to you too during our brief if bitter banter.

We see the wild Zenzao going about his natural routine, almost like clockwork: lurking around the savanna (his desktop) and occasionally moseying up to other gentle creatures; until around sundown, at which point he packs up and makes for his tree (goes mobile) where he will spend the rest of the evening alone and undisturbed. A healthy Zenzao will prefer not sleep for some time, and their precise waking time is currently unknown.

It's cool. I really appreciate that you're taking time to reflect and apologise. Things got heated and you did cross the line, but if you're big enough to accept that and tone it down, I look forward to having you around as part of the community for sure.
zenzao im gonna remember you now!
im much less selfabsorbed when scum and pay attention to the other players.
Now that I have a scum game of yours, I think I'll be better at reading you the next time tom! I don't play often but when I do I can recall certain players well enough to sense when something in them is off(at least on DLP). Going to have to try and build up that sense over here too now.

Oh oh! I nearly forgot!
@Proph: thank you for being my mentor, I really appreciated it!
@Zomg: I couldn't say this in game for obvious reasons, but Proph basically opened mentor chat with "I'm not good as scum, so this should be interesting."
@Vaimes: did you make it to 1k posts with Newcomb?
Really well played by both Mafia and Town IMO. You guys are excellent.
Vaimes and Silver - MVP Performances.
Finding out Rodemy was mafia was a #blindside
Silver, I am so sorry for leaving you in the position I did. That being said I think me replacing out was the best thing that could have happened for town. You were absolutely amazing, I've been following along since I got out of hospital and rooting for you the whole way

Don't worry about it lol. I felt bad, like I was smearing you a little but I legit don't think your play was that poor. It was a combination of shadow making it looking like you were buddies and one or two little things that tom could push on that made it a close thing.
Thinking shadow was town when I replaced in probably didn't help, but it would have looked like distancing from buddies if I had scum read him so I don't think it would have mattered much.
But that was a world-shaking performance from Vaimes.
Turning around when you're in the tunnel is one of, if not the hardest things to do as town. And putting together the pieces from town!Silver worlds, continually looking at wagons, just hammering away at VCA and analysis and not letting himself get shouted down or go along with the flow and push the gamestate. Idk I'm just super proud of Vaimes this game, which I know is a little weird since he's got me in mafia experience by probably a factor of 10, but we've talked in the past about how he'd like to evolve from a "go with the flow" town player to someone who drives things a little more, and this was absolutely that.
#TeamVaimes
And it's just all the more sweet that he inexorably narrowed things down to the correct gamestate.
I've got two memes for you.
Vaimes dunking on tom yesterDay to effectively seal it:
Congratulations to the Town and Huntzilla for their win.
Huntzilla gets this as win even though he replaced out because the circumstances for his replacement consisted of a situation where he chose the health of the game over any personal/team goals.
Town MVP - Silvercrys3467 - In the end it was him who cracked the code and won the game for the town. Before that this was almost certainly a scum win.
Mafia MVP - shadowlancerx - While the entire scum team played a marvelous game I feel that shadow falling on his sword for the team at just the right time had this game locked for them.
@Vaimes and Eco - That is my bad. I personally use private browsing and never thought about any one using an OOG reference like last time on so my apologies for the shortness of the last night.
@tom - Had those questions been asked in the signup or in game thread I could have answered them. At times you were asking questions that could effect the mafia's choices and I was doing my best to remain neutral as a mod should by not changing the outcomes and decisions of the players in anyway if possible.
@Zenzao - No worries, nothing you did was any worse then stuff I've done in games.
I CTRL-F'd my name for Newcomb and Vaimes and they did not disappoint.
(Also Vaimes, I don't remember mentoring you. Mind refreshing me?)
This was an exemplary basic and I think both sides played extremely well. I feel kind of bad since I pretty much assumed we had the game locked up when shadow was lynched, but I was not expecting Silver to completely solve the game at the end there and Vaimes to go right along with him.
Quote from Vaimes »
How much do you wanna bet that Proph cried when he saw that he'd be mentoring someone with a scum role PM?
Thanks to Tordeck for hosting as well, it can't have been easy finding all those replacements, but he did and the game ran really smoothly and he handled the whole Huntz situation professionally.

Lol at all of this. Also, proph you're like 17-18?!? Nice!!
I legit read all of Big Red Button Mafia just to go "ooooh, Rodemy really does look like his town self"
Doea that mean i did well?
Absolutely yes.
Also, while we are on confessions, my big promised post on Sunday the day after I ended up lynched, was something I really, really didn't want to do, and I was oh so glad I didn't have to.
The problem was that I would have been giving you and the scum team information that the town did not have. I felt it better to not answer than give one side information the others didnt have as it would be favoring one side over the other.
I accidentally posted something meant for my mentor QT into our Trigger Happy scumchat, so he accidentally found out I was town in this game.
Sorry about that, Hunt.
What's hilarious is I never actually saw the post, just that you edited it. I knew you had a mentor chat, but I COULD NOT GET IT OUT OF MY HEAD THAT YOU WERE MAFIA AND IT WAS MEANT FOR SCUMCHAT>>>>>>>>>> which of course wasn't true. Don't feel bad. ***** happens.
I so had Shadow nailed, and by extension Tom...
Rodemy had me fooled though. That would have taken more.
Also, @Shadow.
I would have never stopped tunneling you. Doesn't mean I would have had the gravitas to get others to believe it. You did a good job of squirming out of it after I was gone though, so good job to you!
@hunt: I know you would have been on me forever
The worst part was my progression on the subject was entirely organic, it was more of a noob mindset about no lynch than a scum one
silver GOAT
This makes me happy, because it means I did exactly what I was trying to do, and did it well.

I really do feel bad for how I played though. Especially D3. Sorry all.
Glad we got there in the end though.
Eventually I'm going to be the NK before I can figure out the game but I'll keep on keeping on until then.
Lol at trolling seppel with his "do you remember the set up" question.

disagreeing intrinsically that it should matter where it was asked.
open setup should mean we know how roles interact.
(again, it didnt matter at all for this particular game. but i would be very salty if it had)
