We already talked about this too...I would say he still thinks that I am scum. Which would also to some extent explain why he wouldn't bother sending me a message. Or maybe he was unable to send a message last night and technically didn't come back until today.
I still think scarbo is scum and is currently my preferred lynch.
Well, you see this is where I am currently leaning. Maybe you disagree on the reasoning, but there is it.
I kind of agree that, if one of the Boros was scum the other could be an easy target. Especially if the scum didn't get the Bomb. Of course, if the scum did get the bomb, then he obviously doesn't need to fear that happening to him, and leaving the other Boros alive would be no risk, and maybe he wouldn't, given how supportive you are of each other. That still leaves us with some otherwise questionable NK choices.

Ambush Krotiq makes me laugh so much. I keep rereading the card and it keeps not having Flash. In what sense is this an ambush again? I just have visions of this huge Krotiq poorly concealed in some bushes, feeling slightly sad that his carefully planned ambushes never seem to work.
The brutal truth is that it's hard to argue with what hawk just posted.
If there's a scum in Boros, and the townie was made the bomb, the scum would've known and offed him already.
If the scum was made the bomb, terrible NKs like Rhand wouldn't have been happening. He was definitely mislynch fodder today. I know I would've voted for him.
They don't know who the bomb is, and that means both AE and hawk are town, despite all appearances to the contrary. I will never vote for Axelrod. I don't like how Huntzilla has mostly sheeped me today and hasn't added anything on his own, but he's been a very townie-seeming player up to that point.
So that leaves us with scarbo, whose behavior has been mostly townie but whose night actions have decidedly not been.
On the third hand. Imagine a scenario where the scum Boros didn't get the bomb. Now he has, as you say, an easy NK target in the other Boros and need not fear the bomb after that. Except, maybe he sees how killing the other Boros makes him a target. Because - he sees how the Town may reason - how could scum know they could safely target a Boros? So, he protects himself by not killing the other Boros, and just tries to avoid the bomb as per what seems to be happening. This choice is made somewhat easier by the fact that the other Boros is strongly supporting him. Etc, etc.
You can do this kind of stuff infinitely.
But, at least for today, I think I'm still where I was.

Too risky. He's opening himself up to randomly getting blown out (literally) by the bomb picking the same target as he NKs. Could work if there's 2 left, definitely not if he's the only scum - it's too dangerous to leave the bomb alive.
The brutal truth is that it's hard to argue with what hawk just posted.

You raise a good point, and I agree with your conclusion that scum has the bomb ability. But I disagree that Rhand was that wild of a NK choice. They knew I'd be tracking him and with him dead I become a more appealing lynch. Axel wouldn't be the kill because he's lynchable. The other Boros wouldn't be the kill because that implicates the remaining one. To maintain the illusion that they have to worry about the bomb, I wouldn't be the NK as a potential bomb target, and similarly for Zinda. Rhand was really the only logical kill choice.
I'm going yet again call BS on hawk. His question to Obzedat is totally loaded. Either way it responds he can use it to justify lynching Axel.

Your reasoning is hilarious. I've stated multiple times that I'm not interested in lynching axel, I'm interested in lynching you. I'm just curious what sep and dc3 see in axel and wanted to make sure I was making the best decision. After your recent response though it's pretty obvious. Your only play as scum is to try and get boros lynched because there is no way you can beat the bomb without knowing who has it.
I think he was implying using it on outside of boros. Can't self target battalion and that gives scum a 50/50 of blowing up which is too risky for end game for them.
All right, let's just get it over with. As I say, if there are two scum left, and one isn't Scarbo, we aren't winning anyway.

To answer your question Hawk, not a lot has changed at all in my mindset after going over the last few days of posts. I am still leaning AE and/or Scarbo.
What, no, meg. I unvoted and voted Axelrod. But anyway I'd rather go with-

Vote: Archamage Eternal
I mean I have to say while I understand the desire to lynch me, and even while I think it might be our best play NOW, I still think it's a pretty lazy out that ignores a number of facets of the game, namely Taredas's attacks against me, Rhand's death, KK's decision to give me Unexpected Results, Obzedat's shift from me to Axel, I mean the list goes on. I do obviously have paranoid reservations that there's two scum remaining, but I HIGHLY doubt it, because it was abundantly clear that I'd be tracking Rhand, and the risk of being tracked was the only thing that jived with having the luxury of being able to sacrifice a scum member, i.e. that there are two remaining scum. Whoever is scum has played well, though, and I unapologetically think scum deserves the win for this game. Yeah the ones who got lynched kind of sucked, but look where we are now. We pretend like we know what we're doing, but I have no clue, and clearly no one else does either.
Whatever the case, good luck. Apparently Obzedat just thinks there has to be another scum in Orzhov, which I can see, but it's not really an inspiring reason to lynch him. I really wish he had just communicated with Axel, and then if Axel misconstrued the message we could have done our Ouija-***** to figure that out. Hawk's recent posts just don't make any sense from a scum perspective. Zinda's definitely town. Hunt is inspiring the same rage I've come to recognize as the frustration I get from playing with town-Generic and town-Void.
Anyway, sorry guys but my patience with this game has officially worn out. I'd vote myself here if it weren't a hammer, but I've really just lost all interest in trying. My reads have been terrible, and you guys will probably be better with me out of the picture anyway. THAT BEING SAID, don't use this as justification for tomorrow's lynch. Instead try, you know, analyzing behavior.
I don't see how it could be hunt unless he was just pretending not to know about the bomb in Boros. Otherwise zinda would have died.
Axel, I mean maybe? But why are you so convinced that AE can't be scum? Just because of the bomb stuff? I mean look at his posts. He hasn't done anything at all.

This is true and lurking usually fits with his scum meta. That said, I still don't think he is scum.
I don't know what you think I would have gotten out of it. Rhand would have been a gimmie lynch today from where I'm sitting, after being wrong about Atog on top of everything else I wrote. And if you think I would spend all that time writing all those words and then just shoot him (and prove myself wrong and make myself look bad in the process) then you have no idea about me at all.
From Scarbo's perspective, at the very least, shooting Rhand means he doesn't have to give us a tracking result today. Not that I think that's a great reason for him to have done it, but I don't really get the choice period.
I do want to lynch AE too, just for uselessness. He's the only guy left who, if he were scum, and won this game, I'd say didn't actually deserve to win.

I agree with Axel on that one. AE deserves to die simply for his lack of effort this entire game.
However,
Just look at Hawk's posts today... He is 180ing all over the place on people, which I would normally say is a towntell, but it reads out of him more like trying to sink his teeth into whatever mislynch he can. I mean the MOMENT Zinda says I am giving him the creeps, Hawk JUMPS on it... It reads all very insincere.
But by all means... lynch me if you would like. I am pretty bummed I was totally wrong about Rhand, and even angrier that we are getting snowed by the scum this game. I agree with Scarbo's assessment of the game as well, where we have NO CLUE what to do as a town. Totally lost, just blindly firing. I thought we were doing better after Zinda started nailing baddies, but now we are stuck with the rest of us here, and we just aren't figuring this out.
AE is scum for lurking and being utterly unhelpful this entire game
Hawk is scum for his strange behavior, his conveniently changing opinions, and again, not being helpful at times.
Scarbo I can see as scum too... His AtE post though rang very townie though versus a typical scum version.
Zinda can only be scum if he and his team decided to allow him to bus them to death. It doesn't seem to fit.
Axel could be the best townie looking scum I have ever seen, but I don't believe it.
The fact that Hawk is pushing me so hard now really feels off. If you Iso him it was less than a page ago where he was 100% sure I was town, and now he is telling Scarbo to "only pick between (me) and Axel." That feels very off to me.
I'd like to request our 48 hour deadline extension.
I want to do a behavioral review and I will have time to do it over the weekend, just not right this moment. A little more time will help steer this day from ending in a dismal default lynch which is where it seems to be heading atm.
I'm happy to get an extension, though I don't know if it will do me any good specifically. I feel burned out on behavioral analysis. Maybe I can still get it back though. Second wind, as it were.

Hunt: hansanator's behavior was dubious at best. His three votes were for Obzedat, Sepiriel, and AI, none of which inspire confidence, though the two players were prominent wagons at the time. ZDS also answered questions from AI for him and defended him against me.
Under his own name, he began by reading at both ends, calling dkings a liar in a bout of weirdly twitchy behavior, voted Cythare, named {me, ZDS, AI, Cythare, and killjoy} as scum in a scumlist (Taredas was listed under "leaning town"), voted Kami/AI, voted Cythare to lynch, opened D2 by voting Taredas and barning dead Azrael, said he thought killjoy was town, needlessly hammered claimed scum ZDS, opened D3 by voting Taredas, warded off a second attack from scarbo (carried over from D2), voted killjoy after Seppel's daykill, voted Obzedat to get its hypothetical player to claim, voted Atog, returned to voting Taredas, voted Scarbo on DCIII's recommendation (first time all game he voted scarbo), votes Atog, states he does not believe Rhand is scum at all (consistent with earlier scumlist), votes Vish, votes Scarbo, votes killjoy immediately pre-daykill, begins to do a 180 on Rhand, saying things like "maybe he played us all" and "if there's scum in Simic it's Rhand", states Axelrod is likely to be town, votes Rhand post-daykill, votes Obzedat, goes back to voting Rhand, shows some emotion when scarbo votes him for suggesting attacking scarbo on Obzedat's say-so, insists the remaining scum is in Simic, votes Atog to lynch, leaves options wide open on D6 (scarbo, hawk, and AE all named as potential scum), barns me on AE, votes scarbo, back to AE.
There's a LOT of votes in there. One of the most vote-happy players I've ever seen. That said, opening both d2 and d3 with attacks on Taredas rang true to me (although he named him as leaning town not long before d2 began....) He has barned a lot of players as well, from Azrael to Axelrod and then to me. There's a weird relationship with scarbo...scarbo has been calling him scum for most of the game, and there's been some back-and-forth, but he never really took anything seriously until he finally got a bit mad at scarbo accusing him of following Obzedat. Possible scum link there? My overall assessment is twitchy town.
Scarbo: opens with voting me, pushes an early Atog lynch and votes him while also stating almost from the beginning of the game that he wants Obzedat lynched, votes Obzedat, backs AE's garbage attacks on me D1, votes me, blasts the AI wagon, states he only supports Atog/Hans/zindabad lynches, returns to Atog, attacks Atog and me with ludicrously poor cases, backs hawk and votes me again, back onto me and then Atog again, admitting he is bouncing between us, dodges the Cythare wagon in favor of the Atog one (at least he's consistent), begins d2 by voting Obzedat, votes Atog, votes killjoy for attacking him for wanting Obzedat dead (interesting contrast to killjoy's later obsession with Obzedat...), votes ZDS after he's caught (after almost never saying a word about him, except when he complained about ZDS dismissing his case on me), votes vish on D3, votes Hunt seemingly out of nowhere (during the name/guild claim), immediately switches to Seppel and states he is the Orzhov scum, not Taredas, uses WIFOM (he's not dumb enough to make that terrible claim) to defend Taredas, returns to voting Vish after Seppel's daykill, heads back to Atog, votes Obzedat again, continues to insist Simic should not die (self-serving townie who thinks his ability is worth keeping turned on), ends up back on Atog, votes Taredas as soon as Seppel turns up town, returns to Atog again over more Obzedat WTFery, insists Boros and yours truly are town, bizarrely chooses to watch me instead of KA or, indeed, track his main scum suspect all game (Atog), votes Atog yet again, claims he tried tracking Obzedat as D5 opens (NOT ATOG), but was roleblocked (not to mention that he complained on D2 that people should never claim being RB'ed and should instead wait for somebody to slip up...),
I guess that's just the nature of wifom. Enter Occam's razor. And no, I don't remember, but I remember thinking I was safe because Seppel flipped roleblocker, but apparently there's a scum one, too.
When did Seppel flip roleblocker? That literally never happened. Explain that, scarbo.
Continuing with scarbo's posts, he then votes Hawk, inaccurately claims he was just hammered by hunt, inexplicably votes me (that's two people he had previously called stonewall town that he has abruptly reversed position on), more talk about Obzedat despite claiming he hasn't been interested in him since D2, votes Atog, votes Obzedat again, continues to back keeping Rhand alive, votes huntzilla, votes Atog again (please note that my daykill on killjoy has happened by this point and he has said LITERALLY nothing about it), announces he's going to track Rhand, claims he did so and Rhand didn't target anyone, votes Hawk, states Axelrod isn't obviously town to him, votes Axelrod, votes AE.
I'm pretty much convinced now. Here's some of scarbo's questionable behavior:
- Was on Atogaholic literally the entire game but failed to track him on two separate occasions.
- Has been talking about Obzedat nonstop.
- Defended scum Taredas using WIFOM.
- Said barely a word about scum ZDS or scum killjoy, including not even commenting on the latter's death by daykill.
- Claimed that he was roleblocked on D5 despite earlier (D2) complaining when KA announced he was roleblocked.
- Inexplicably stated Seppel was a roleblocker.
- Performed a classic scum 180 on days 5 and 6 vis-a-vis me, Hawk, and AE. After previously stating we were ironclad town, he was forced to reverse that position in order to keep himself from being PoE'd out as the game wore on and he lost killjoy.
- Overall terrible use of his claimed ability
unvote; vote Scarbo
I guess we'll get to the rest if the game goes on to another day.
I would just like to add that if he is town (a scenario I am forced to admit is likely), AE's behavior this game has been utterly unacceptable from a townie at any level, and especially from a vastly experienced player playing in a FTQ game. He should be lynched on general principle.
We already talked about this too...I would say he still thinks that I am scum. Which would also to some extent explain why he wouldn't bother sending me a message. Or maybe he was unable to send a message last night and technically didn't come back until today.

We could continue asking questions to obzedat. Maybe ask him a yes or no question and he responds by voting someone.
Obzedat vote hunt if you think there has to be another scum in orzhov. Stay on axel if you think it's just behavior.
AE should definitely talk more.

Scarbo: opens with voting me, pushes an early Atog lynch and votes him while also stating almost from the beginning of the game that he wants Obzedat lynched, votes Obzedat, backs AE's garbage attacks on me D1, votes me, blasts the AI wagon, states he only supports Atog/Hans/zindabad lynches, returns to Atog, attacks Atog and me with ludicrously poor cases, backs hawk and votes me again, back onto me and then Atog again, admitting he is bouncing between us, dodges the Cythare wagon in favor of the Atog one (at least he's consistent), begins d2 by voting Obzedat, votes Atog, votes killjoy for attacking him for wanting Obzedat dead (interesting contrast to killjoy's later obsession with Obzedat...), votes ZDS after he's caught (after almost never saying a word about him, except when he complained about ZDS dismissing his case on me), votes vish on D3, votes Hunt seemingly out of nowhere (during the name/guild claim), immediately switches to Seppel and states he is the Orzhov scum, not Taredas, uses WIFOM (he's not dumb enough to make that terrible claim) to defend Taredas, returns to voting Vish after Seppel's daykill, heads back to Atog, votes Obzedat again, continues to insist Simic should not die (self-serving townie who thinks his ability is worth keeping turned on), ends up back on Atog, votes Taredas as soon as Seppel turns up town, returns to Atog again over more Obzedat WTFery, insists Boros and yours truly are town, bizarrely chooses to watch me instead of KA or, indeed, track his main scum suspect all game (Atog), votes Atog yet again, claims he tried tracking Obzedat as D5 opens (NOT ATOG), but was roleblocked (not to mention that he complained on D2 that people should never claim being RB'ed and should instead wait for somebody to slip up...),
Wait a second.
