Vishamon is scum. While going through ZDS's interactions I found this:
Quote from Vish »
I'm inclined to believe KK until proven otherwise. ZDS, if you are a pro-town neutral, now's your chance to convince me not to lynch you.
Unvote
Some backstory: in CF Mafia III (which afaik is the last mafia game he played) Vish was a cop who successfully copped Meg and got a non-town verdict. Meg managed to save himself by claiming he was a pro-town neutral, then he somehow lived to the endgame and won.
So basically: if he was town, why would he even give ZDS this option? He JUST got burned on this in his last game. He was clearly trying to throw ZDS a lifeline using a strategy that he KNEW worked in the past.
vote vishamon
This I like. Also, between the three Simic, I have liked Rhand and Scarbo better the whole game.
VOte: Vishasmon
I have considered that Obzedat is (1) scum and (2) not actually DCIII. I don't know anyway of actually proving one way of the other, however, short of just lynching/killing all Orzhov (because if he's not DCIII and/or is actually a player in the game, then he's pretty much got to be one of the Orzhov. But I think that's less likely than him just telling the truth here. What role is he as Mafia? You are Obzedat, scum, you have a double vote (once as your player name and one anonymous vote as Obzedat). Here is a cover Orzhov name you can claim instead of just claiming to be Obzedat. Also, you can send a message to another Orzhov person at night saying whatever you want....
And then the player decides to make up the whole thing about Obzedat being someone outside the game? That seems far fetched.

I thought he did so I read the whole thing (he apparently did sign up, change his mind and went /out again)
I stumbled across something weird.

Pretty much always scum. I can't think of a time he's replaced out and not been scum.
Well when I got my role PM, I figured there were only 10 different roles. Otherwise I would've falseclaimed something wacky just for kicks. But then I realized that since another Orzhov has died, that I couldn't falseclaim the Orzhov power because everyone already knows it.
I'm still a little confused at how there's only 4 guilds.
Orzhov doesn't reveal on death
Boros are the docs
What are Simic and the other one?
There are 5 guilds. One Guild (the Mafia) is hiding under cover of being members of the others. Gruul has the extra vote things and Simic (in part) apparently pass down the ability of the Guild Leader, though it gets progressively nerfed.

Has it occurred to anyone that Obzedat may not be DCIII? The message that was sent was simply signed DCIII.
@Sep/whoever else received a message from Obzedat: Did you have any evidence to believe it was DCIII?
Actually, I looked into this a bit... DCIII didn't sign up for this game. He /outed. Obzedat is NOT DCIII. He's lying about who he is. Therefore, he is most likely a player in this game. Why would he lie though?

Seppel's "IDK what's going on this game" posts look faked to me. Maybe he and Obzedat are scum? Or maybe he IS Obzedat, and is scum. Can we maybe lynch him and Obzedat today, given zinda's two lynch thing?
KoolKoal: Feel free to take this with a grain of salt since self meta isn't particularly helpful, but I think I get scumread mostly for style over substance, but also for a certain lack of substance over style. As far as things to ignore, I can't think of anything. I would suggest you focus less on what I'm doing and more on how I'm doing it. That's probably more likely to be accurate. "Crush him!" The cyclops's giant arm stretched out, his index finger pointing squarely at Seppel. Seppel's eyes grew wide as the Gruul among the group readily descended upon him.
It was over in an instant. Seppel was dead. The Gruul, their bloodthirst sated, retreated back into the crowd. Borborygmos looked into the crowd, his single eye glaring deep into the souls of the rest, daring them to cross him.
One brave Simic went to examine the body. Unfortunately, his soul appeared to have already been claimed. Nothing identifiable remained.
The rest of the town stood in silence. The arguments would begin again. That much was guaranteed. How soon, though, it was impossible to say.

Not sure what the best course of action is now. I still don't like lynching Simic. I assume that whoever can show the Orzhov alignment can't do it twice a day so creating another Orzhov body seems like a bad idea too.
I strongly dislike KillJoy again with his push on Obzedat. If what Obzedat seems to have claimed is true, then that would hurt us badly.
So I think I want to lynch KillJoy toDay and either Taredas or one of Scarbo and Vishamon toMorrow.

The fact that DCIII wasnt part of the initial player list does not mean that the mod couldn't have contacted him for a special role, hence why he wasnt there.
Honestly we have nothing to prove/disprove the name claim other than the early sign-up thread and last i checked that wasnt enough of a justifiable reason for anything here.
We have currently eliminated one of the 'strong scum reads' from "DCIII", i would prefer having Taredas removed as well today but i doubt that would happen.
/Vote taredas
Like i said before im ok with a Vish lynch but rhand is correct, the fact that Vish claimed Simic is cause for concern because the "Cop" abilities of the Simic weaken as the members are killed as stated by Rhand.
Scarbo also claiming Simic is a problem since that was the other strong scum read of Obzedat, if we assume Rhand to be town (his play so far seems to support this idea) then we are running a dychotomy of sorts between scarbo and Vish since we can agree there has to be at least 1 scum in the Simics.
Sigh...

Isn't the cop ability from Unexpected Results already down? It said "when a member of the Simic dies, this ability loses a mode, starting from the bottom." KK was Simic and is dead.
Regarding?
I don't even remember being burned by Megs in the way Atog claims. The last game I remember playing with Megiddo in was Pokeman Trainer Mafia (again on the now defunct Clan Flamingo forums), in I was a one shot role blocker (or redirector, idr) and I targeted Meg the final night, but his night action somehow had priority over my action, allowing him to win the game as scum (I'm still salty about that).
Also, the last game I played off site was Megiddo's Bastard Mafia, in which everybody got false alignments in their role pms - My role pm was vanilla town, but I was actually a neutral who would win the game if I attempted to submit a night action (an ability I had no way of knowing I had). Fun times.
Atog: Any corroborating evidence, or did anyone else play in that game?
Vish: Any comment on Seppel's death, my ability, anything beyond "I do not recall that, but here's the non-me person we should lynch?" That was kind of a mild response to say the least.
The fact that DCIII wasnt part of the initial player list does not mean that the mod couldn't have contacted him for a special role, hence why he wasnt there.

...What? You're grasping at straws.
Your evidence that DCIII is Obzedat is that he signed his message to you as DCIII. My evidence that he is not in this game is he is seen literally not being in this game, and /outed and is therefore not a candidate for any role in this game.
I don't need to justify him not being in this game: the evidence supports that. YOU need to justify him being in this game with stronger evidence than "Meg might have asked him to join the game secretly, promising him a special role based on him not being in the game".
Wait... you're Orzhov. Are YOU Obzedat? Is that why you're so insistent?

Wait... you're Orzhov. Are YOU Obzedat? Is that why you're so insistent?
I wish!
The one thing that hasnt changed since my first time playing is that i still hate playing the equivalent of Vanilla Town, which is ironic because when i do have a PR i always get so fidgety because im not sure how i can optimize it.
Anyways the difference lies in that the Obzedat PM is a part of the Game, the sign in thread however is more of a grey area, and really not much in the way of admission of anything. I am stating that Obzedat signed the PM as DCIII that will not change, nothing in Obzedat's PM seemed to suggest a scum mindset therefore i have no reason to doubt that the signature isnt real or even if it wasnt that it was not Townie Gambit in play.
Incidentally it would have been hilarious if Karn had been Obzedat, it would explain a few things like the difference in apparent tone in communications also the need to fake claim a players name, the fact that Seppel scum reads himself would have also been fitting.
With Seppel dead we need to wait for a body to turn up (hopefully it does) but i suspect that will be toMorrow at best.
-------------------------
@Zinda: Yes the Cop ability is now down, however we still have a tracker/watcher/GuildCop (but this one is really weak) available, if we lynch another simic we lose the Watcher ability, and we have then to make sure we lynch scum so as to at least maintain the tracker ability, whats more there's the danger that we lynch simic and hit town WITH the Unexpected results then that means that the player has a 50-50 chance of passing it to scum forcing us to completely doubt the results (the only upside is that it is also possible that Scum currently have the results so getting a lynch there means we can move the ability to confirmed townies, but the anonymity factor of the PR is lost since scum can coordinate in advance who to send the power to and then NK them as well).
Anyways, i feel that if we dont lynch taredas we have to look into the gruul for scum, i doubt there's two scum in the gruul clan (most likely chance of that happening is in Orzhov due to its quasi VT power).
Incidentally I want to point out that I have no other ability outside of Servitude I think Axel also mentioned that, Taredas is the only one now claiming extra abilities in the form of his passive something not aligning with the other two Orzhov players, also im going to assume Cythare had no other abilities besides Servitude so yeah the only inconsistent claim so far is Taredas.

I am still ready for a Taredas lynch, but think we should hold off on Orzhov until Seppel flips.
I also do not like Vish at this point, but I agree that we should hold off on the simic lynch until toMorrow for now.
That leaves Gruul... And the options are Myself, Atog, and Killjoy. Zindabad in no way can be scum. I simply don't believe it. I know I am not scum. This narrows it down to Atog or Killjoy. At this point, I don't believe Domri Rade would be scum, which is Atog's claim. That means Killjoy, according to PoE. I have liked Killjoy better than Snurfy, but I can see this slot being one of the scum.
Vote Killjoy
I hate to be voting my own clan, but I feel it makes the most sense at this point.
I don't think the reason of not further diminishing the Simic ability is a reason not to lynch a Simic person. There's got to be a scum Simic. The Cop ability is already gone. For all we know, the person who has the ability now IS the scum. I prefer what looks to me like a clean 50-50 shot there.
The thing about DCIII opting out of the game is...troubling. We have to believe it was all a cunning plan in the signup thread and he was lying. Or Megs somehow convinced him to join afterwards (and put him in over actual people who had signed up and wanted to play?) There's also the point that, with the Prime Speaker dead, and Zinda looking at least a little less likely to be scum based on ability, where does that leave a scum "Guildmaster?" We're saying KA is not likely scum, because that would be busted, Zinda not likely scum, same reasons. That only leaves Obzedat.
On the other hand, my earlier point still stands that I don't understand what kind of role this is if it's actually a person in the game. Maybe it's someone out of the game, but he's lying about being DCIII, but why do that? Is there really a reason to lie about who you are if you're not in the game?

No matter who we lynch, we're weaking one guild ability.
I need to review Sepiriel, because at this point one of the simplest explanations is that Sepiriel is making up the whole thing.
I'm also willing to consider just lynching Obzedat based on the idea that at least one guild master is probably scum, and Borborygmos' ability does not make sense on scum.
There were, like, three different claims of what happens when Obzedat dies. I don't believe that Obzedat's death is going to change player alignments or anything like that.
The other three guilds all have abilities that weaken when one of their members dies. What exactly do Orzhov...do? Die as temporary millers? Wow, what an amazing ability. They're worse than vanilla townies. No, something else is going on there and it has to do with Obzedat. But he's out of the game. Maybe we should just lynch him and get it done with.
I need to review Sepiriel, because at this point one of the simplest explanations is that Sepiriel is making up the whole thing.
I'm also willing to consider just lynching Obzedat based on the idea that at least one guild master is probably scum, and Borborygmos' ability does not make sense on scum.
