I figured scum would target both of you, with one getting the NK and the other a roleblock.
How do you know that scum possess a roleblock?
Obviously I don't. Feel free to insert "other random negative scumteam effect" in for roleblock if it floats your boat.
@Rhand, not sure. It illuminates whoever targeted the person I targeted. If they targeted my ability , then retargeted Meg, then maybe? Let me ask Zinda how that works.

And on top: Meg made it abundantly clear that he did not need help with his vitality, so your action didn't help anyone.

Because it seems pretty obvious to me that he meant "in the event that they have one", which is always a fair thing to assume, even in a randomized setup - as a just in case.
Fair enough. Just wondered why LnG was weirdly specific about "roleblock", not that his claim tempers my scumread on him.

I just don't understand how targeting meg was the pro-town thing to do in your eyes.
These posts are awful. It makes perfect sense for Iso to want to give Megiddo an extra ability, especially since he had expressed numerous times D1 that Megiddo was his highest town read. It would be questionable to give that power willy-nilly to anyone that he was less sure of--and it would be even more questionable to ask for a cop or vig to claim D1.

Arian summed things up pretty nicely, but now I'm really confused, how do we regain lost vit? It seems like megs and DC3 will be the last ones alive at the end of the game no matter what happens.
That last part assumes neither of us will be lynched or killed. Why?
Turns out Supernova doesn't work on myself in Alway Etteem.
laaaaaaame
Wildfire called out how Seppel changed his stance on Iso having a scheme and he (Seppel) said that Iso was transparent about it and was using it to solve the game. Wouldn't most of his schemes appear to be used to solve the game? About faces on this without showing any Iso suspicion. The above quote is over the top and feels like kind of an attempt to buddy Iso by sharing disappointment that his plan (which he previously said he'd mistrust) wouldn't work. Feels forced. He said earlier that Iso is town until there's a scheme - well now there's a scheme, but he's not taking issue with it because he said openly that he had a plan and because the goal is to solve the game? Wouldn't most of his plans be to solve the game? Isn't it well established that Iso tries to clear himself as either alignment?
So I noticed that Seppel doesn't want to move to Alway Eteem, that seems quite curious to me as it's power is ridiculous and all of the roles we've had flipped interact well with it(besides the poison but poison is pretty op as it is). Also, it's completely hilarious with my role if I think correctly.
But more to the point, what is the point of staying here? There really isn't. We end up here in the end if this game doesn't by like day five anyway(it will though I think). I'm not going to iso Seppel because I don't like suffering but this spot has been pervasively subversive all game and opaque in a way that simply doesn't work--there is a certain amount of mechanation going on in Seppel's posts, in my eyes. He's trying to make *something* happen so to speak and I don't. like it.
Now who's next.
Oh man start digging that hole. Please quote where I said I didn't want to move to alway eteem.
This reads like the goal is to warn HP to back off as opposed to trying to trap her or as opposed to trying to do anything with this to show how HP is scummy. It reads as defensive minded.
P.S. My ability won't have any different effect on Alway.
And Move to Alway
Over-justifies that he wouldn't have any reservations about moving to Alway after HP called him on not wanting to move. Later also tells HP that she was making the implication that he didn't want to move - seems pretty concerned about the points that HP is making but, despite the scum read on HP, really isn't pushing the issue with her.
I figured scum would target both of you, with one getting the NK and the other a roleblock.
How do you know that scum possess a roleblock?
When do they not?
Iso's point on this to Proph was good (and I think that Proph got caught with his hand in the cookie jar here as well) - but where I thought that Iso's approach with Proph took the right amount of suspicion, this feels like Seppel isn't really going for the throat here. More like he's posing a rhetorical for Proph to answer than thinking anything else of it. He's also answering for LnGr here which he's experienced enough not to do - but I actually don't think he'd do that if LnGr were his buddy, I think it's more likely that he'd do that if he was trying to ward off a bad question from his buddy to LnGr. But, either way, it's an awkward interjection that seems out of place.
Vote: Seppel
Also, little things like how focused he was on how long the Day was Yesterday and calling out how a certain number of players were half of the game's posts, the joke about Curse when searching for 5 scum... can't really articulate that very well but it seems like he's trying too hard while also trying to appear to not be trying hard (telling Iso he's read like half of the game).
Rhand's #1758 was bad. He votes LnGr for voting Sir Karn after two people just said he town slipped... wouldn't that be something LnGr would be unlikely to do as scum, wanting to avoid scrutiny? His interchange with Iso between #1806 and #1810 reads self-consciously. Feels like he took an angle with Iso he decided he didn't like and is trying to back away from it.
Torn on Iso - still have jibblies over Yesterday but what I thought was happening is not what was happening and his play Today has been the opposite for me. Also the way other players are reacting to him/with him are making me second-guess that read.
Megiddo (57) - Lean Town - PM sent to Zinda is very similar to one he sent to me when I was modding Winterfell. Reasoning is believable. Doubt that he'd out that he thought KJ was town and hammered. Still wary because Meg and always cagey.
Prophylaxis (26) - Lean Scum - Agreed with HP's point on Proph being less fluid throughout the Day. Thought his "how do you know there's a roleblocker" question to LnGr was scummy.
Cythare (21) - Null - Could see him as scum if I'm right about Seppel based on some comments from Seppel to him - but not much notable on his own to me.
hansanator (21) - Likely Town - most recent post with points on Rhand and his pushing back on Seppel earlier in the game when Seppel called him town
Hunger (r. EtR) (21) - Null - Need to read his end of the Day posts in more detail from Yesterday, didn't have a take on EtR
Arianrhod (21) - Lean Scum - Issues with him Yesterday
Rhand (18) - Lean Scum - Issues from Today
HookerPunch (21) - Lean Town - have agreed with a lot of what she's said Today, although this is the most effort I've ever seen from her which is why she's not "likely"
Iso (17) - Lean Town - Least confident about this town read but think that Today outweighs Yesterday right now for me.
Wildfire393 (21) - Likely Town - Has done town Wildfire things.
Sir Karn (17) - Lean Scum - Yesterday trying to convince people to vote for AI at the end of the Day without giving any reasons or trying to be convincing. Words said that he cared who the lynch was but his effort/actions didn't.
LnGrrrR (17) - Likely Town - role, way he brought it up, line he took on Karn
Seppel (20) - Likely Scum - reasons above, feels off.
dkingsland967 (r.kpaca) (21) - Lean Town - posts feel like Town DK
rezombied (21) - Null - hasn't done anything of note
KamikazeArchon (r. Niv) (23) - Lean Town - based on the Night action comment from Iso, general feel about his posts today, and a lot of suspicion from people I suspect on him
DCIII (40) - Me
desCoures (21) - Likely scum - 10 total posts and, of them, here are how 8 start:
Right. I don't actually have an awful lot of time today, especially with pre-release weekend coming up, and from my skim of recent developments there's this huge mess between a whole bunch of players that it'll take time to digest and untangle.
Can you replace out instead? You're being more useless than our replacements.
Asking him both to replace out and taking a very hostile tone and then later directly contradicting the bad stance that dC took on Sir Chris about no hint of sarcasm in his post to me - without taking any issues or giving any hint of suspecting dC's alignment.
I love who is calling me scum toDay lol.
Meg did say he did not want vitality help. Multiple times.
Iso ignored that and I am scum for seeing that? Come on...
Megiddo (57): town or 3rd party - his pm quote seems genuine, so I was probably wrong about my scumread on him
Prophylaxis (26): lean scum - town!Proph is more active and engaged
Cythare (21): lean scum - haven't brushed off my early scum read and hasn't provided much since
hansanator (21): lean town - haven't seen any reason to suspect him.
Hunger (r. EtR) (21): scum - strongest early scumread
Arianrhod (21): lean scum - input mainly mechanical. Not engaged.
HookerPunch (21): town - he always goes after the targets I also dislike.
Iso (17): lean scum - I don't understand how he had a plan, decided to confirm himself and claim to then ask the mod necessary questions and notice the plan doesn't work. Seems like your typical failed scum!Iso gambit.
Wildfire393 (21): town - meta read
Sir Karn (17): town - townslip and early role crumbling
LnGrrrR (17): scum - especially if Hunger/EtR is scum for their early interactions. Also asked lots of pointless questions and his reads change with the wind
Seppel (20): scum - mostly gut. He's too good of a player to be tunneling the town!KillJoy lynch like he did yesterDay.
dkingsland967 (r.kpaca) (21): null - I haven't seen any reason to think he's scum, but not really active enough to get a good read.
rezombied (21): null - I don't remember him even being in the game.
KamikazeArchon (r. Niv) (23): lean town - I had a small scum read on Niv. Kami didn't really change that, but willing to accept Iso's clear for now. (even if Iso is scum: I don't see him townclearing buddies)
DCIII (40): null - I hate how he went from /barning me all the time to scumreading me for no good reason. I'm probably OMGUS'ing him now, so don't want to pursue this.
desCoures (21): null - I don't remember anything he did.
With 18 alive, it's 10 to lynch or move.
Due to a math error on my part, Ruchperion should actually have 58 Vitality, which has been updated in the OP.
@Seppel - let me put this in the most polite way I can manage. Screw off. I don't see where you get off calling me 'useless' and 'human wasteland'. I can't do a damned thing about work or getting sick, and if work really does get to a point where I completely can't manage, I will damned well ask for replacement myself.
Killjoy, AI, and Chris all being town changes a few things. Still, there are a few observations that remain valid:
rezombied seems more likely to be town. He's still done basically nothing of consequence, but his 'oh *****, don't hammer yet, I need to catch up' in response to what he thought was KJ being hammered doesn't make sense from mafia that knew KJ was town at all.
With KJ and AI flipping town, Hunger's series of posts re: KJ and AI yesterday looks a lot worse. #1616 in particular was very wishy-washy about KJ at a time when he was already fairly certain to be hammered. His end conclusion seemed to have him leaning town on AI, but in a way that could easily have been reversed.
I probably have to revise my early town read of Arian. I don't actually remember much of anything from him past his first math post, and it's clear there are shenanigans going around with regard to vitality.
Right. I don't actually have an awful lot of time today, especially with pre-release weekend coming up, and from my skim of recent developments there's this huge mess between a whole bunch of players that it'll take time to digest and untangle.
Apologies for not being around. Been sick in bed with some weird allergic reaction. The red spots still haven't all gone away.
Self-conscious start to almost every single post.
I can't believe that this can be in any way a sincere attack, given that you should have seen the exact same kind of post from me in CT3. You know, the game which just ended not long ago, which I directly refer to several times, and which you replaced into as scum.
Also, there's distinct malice in the way you deliberately remove the context of the above quotes. Like for #622, where you cut out all but the very first line, about me being busy.
What did I actually say?
Quote from me »
Apologies for the late reply. Was horrifically busy yesterday.
I've also only skimmed latest content. Apologies for that as well, but my other game is kind of at a critical juncture.
..followed by a chunk of questions/commentary. Guess which game, and what critical juncture, I meant.
I'll be the first to admit I haven't exactly committed the most energy to this game, but you're doing nothing here but exaggerating through fallacy of omission. There's not a shred of a townie thought process in that.
Vote: DCIII
-------------
Other than the above, there's something else that's bugging me about DCIII, assuming he's telling the truth about losing 2 vitality last night. That one will depend on the mod's answer to the question I just asked him.
As above, Hunger also deserves scrutiny.
KamikazeArchon is fairly unlikely to be scum - I don't see a reason for him to use an ability-granting ability on Iso unless Iso is also scum, and there's absolutely no reason for a scum KArchon to be announcing it in-thread regardless. The only possibility would be some extreme corner case involving KArchon attempting to garner town cred, but it seems a needlessly high-risk maneuver. Occam's Razor says KArchon is town.
I also find it highly likely the mysterious redirector is scum. I don't see any reason for anyone to redirect from Iso to Megiddo, and given events yesterday, the other possibility of redirecting LnGrrrR to Megiddo seems very suspect as well.
I want to take another look at everyone who went after LnGrrrR, especially today. Of these, Sir Karn and Prophylaxis stand out as being particularly questionable. Prophylaxis is continuing his vote analysis today, which I'm never had faith in and additionally been disgusted with since Voxxicus got me mislynched with his vote analysis - but despite town flips from both Killjoy and AI, his conclusions appear to have not changed in the slightest. Sir Karn also starts the day with his 'confirmed scum' being LnGrrrR, Prophylaxis, and KArchon... the first and last of which are, given night actions, not likely to be scum, and the middle of whom has been going after the first for most of yesterday, and who voted said first 'confirmed scum' in his very first post of this day.

Also, @desCoures, RE: Scum Factional Abilities
There are two options for the scum to have fixed abilities in the setup. The first is if Voes and Yblissa are pre-set, non-randomized roles.
Second option, if you look at the set up for Seasons, it had an interesting counterbalance mechanic for the randomized roles. Each role was assigned a point value for Town and a point value for Scum. After the roles were assigned randomly, the point value for each side was summed. The scum would then gain a bonus if their point value was significantly lower than that of town, or gain a penalty if it was significantly higher. I believe that one of the bonus abilities they could have gotten was a roleblock.

Town
Wildfire393 (21) - Hello!
Megiddo (58) - Either he's town or we're in real trouble.
Seppel (20) - Troubled by the Iso thing, but still leaning town.
Iso (17) - Little troubled by the whole "town until I see a scheme" and now he's got a scheme thing, but I'm still feeling town.
DCIII (40) - Feeling town, but I'm not sure I've seen a scum DC3.
Prophylaxis (26) - Need to double check his activity with a finer-tooth comb, but I know he hates rolling scum and lurks more when he is, so I'm feeling town on him
Lean Town
Cythare (21) - I don't have enough meta experience with Cyth to really make a call here. I recall not feeling great about him early, but he's been very active and his recent activity has been better.
hansanator (21) - Need to see more content here. Slight townread because his content is decent even if it's been low in quantity.
Rhand (18) - In the past, I've gotten a strong gutread early when Rhand has been scum. Not seeing that yet, so town lean.
desCoures (21) - Slight townread from today's posts.
Null
Hunger (r. EtR) (21) - I have a terrible track record with reading Hunger. Both games I've played with him, I've been convinced he was scum up until the last day of the game, and he was town both times. Going to reserve judgment for now.
dkingsland967 (r.kpaca) (21) - Need to see more.
rezombied (21) - Need to see more
HookerPunch (21) - HP is one of those wonky players who has always appeared scummy to me because of her crazy theories.
KamikazeArchon (r. Niv) (23) - I had a slight scumread on Niv, need to see more from KA before I can make that call.
Scum
Arianrhod (21) - Low content, and a lot of mechanical discussion in lieu of actual scumhunting. Slight scumlean.
LnGrrrR (17) - Some people are mechanically clearing him, but I'm not sure that's a great idea.
Sir Karn (17) - I am not seeing the Town Karn I've seen in the past thus far. Top scum suspect.

Can we have Megiddo removed from the forum forever please?
i'm pretty sure i can find your ***** online within 3 minutes
Killjoy was lynched, so we can remove him from consideration for now.
hansanator --> targeted Megiddo (succeeded)
Arianrhod --> targeted Prophylaxis (succeeded)
Iso --> targeted Megiddo
Sir Karn --> targeted Megiddo
LnGrrrR --> targeted Iso (Watch) (was redirected to Megiddo, Illuminates people who targeted his target)
KamikazeArchon (r. Niv) --> targeted Iso (Gift of motivate passive)
AsianInvasion, Demernae's Force, found torn apart Night 1.
Sir Chris, Demernae's Passion, found dead but unmarked Night 1.
We have two NKs to consider. AI requested to be vigged Yesterday (and multiple people echoed this sentiment). Razor suggests, therefore, that Chris was the scum NK. After this post is done, I'll take a look over Chris's posts and see if I can suss anything out from them. It's possible that he was killed just because he was a "safe kill" and was unlikely to be protected.
Sidenote: this makes me feel better about Iso, because every time I've been scum with Iso, his strategy is to try to take out higher-profile town players and hope to lucksack his way around protection. Going after less dangerous players with the NK just isn't his style.
Furthermore: the vig has not claimed responsibility for his shot. This suggests that the vig has at least one more bullet to fire -- if he was 1-shot, I would have expected him to claim the kill.
"Dead but unmarked" is suspicious flavor and makes me question the existence of some kind of ninja kill. If that's the case, though, then why the heck use it on Sir Chris instead of going after Meg/Iso/Seppel/etc?
This block of players has not given any information on their activities last night. It's also an open question as to whether or not AI and/or Sir Chris got off their abilities before dying last night.
Vote: Move to Alway Etteem
@Megiddo, I need to thinktank on this a bit yet, but I'm pretty sure that if I'm understanding your ability correctly, we can tag-team to keep people alive and hold off vitality drain on important players / strong town reads.
I'm going to go plow through Chris's posts now. I'll refrain from sharing my current reads until after I'm done with that.

It was a coin flip between you and Meg. I ended up watching you because I think you are slightly more regarded as a player than Meg and more likely to eat a bullet.
I figured scum would target both of you, with one getting the NK and the other a roleblock. Since it shows whoever targeted the person I targeted in the thread, if you ended up roleblocked or NK'd, and only one person targeted you, it would be an easy lynch.
I don't know why I was redirected. I don't know why others seemingly WERENT redirected.
I am not illuminated because I am the one watching. I am Demernae's Light or something like that.
I dislike the explanation here including a roleblock assumption, and the follow-up response also reads poorly.

@dC1: I'm sorry I was being a jerk to you. I'm just frustrated that I don't have better reads on people, including you. Also, to answer your question, seriously? Past mafia games have included factional abilities, notably the mafia kill. In Hetalia there was a slog of mafia abilities. It's not uncommon.
Obviously I don't. Feel free to insert "other random negative scumteam effect" in for roleblock if it floats your boat.
@Rhand, not sure. It illuminates whoever targeted the person I targeted. If they targeted my ability , then retargeted Meg, then maybe? Let me ask Zinda how that works.

cool. very cool.
Also: Which one of you tried to lower my vitality?
Out? Why would your target be outed?
And on top: Meg made it abundantly clear that he did not need help with his vitality, so your action didn't help anyone.

I just don't understand how targeting meg was the pro-town thing to do in your eyes.
My figuring out the whole illuminated thing also took long
Either way, we're all gonna burn
because I had a town read on Meg and he asked people to target him is the extremely, incredibly condensed version

Seppel feels off.
That last part assumes neither of us will be lynched or killed. Why?
This reads like the goal is to warn HP to back off as opposed to trying to trap her or as opposed to trying to do anything with this to show how HP is scummy. It reads as defensive minded.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
@Proph - can you point me to what happened to your Wildfire scum read?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Rhand's #1758 was bad.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Torn on Iso - still have jibblies over Yesterday but what I thought was happening is not what was happening and his play Today has been the opposite for me. Also the way other players are reacting to him/with him are making me second-guess that read.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
T/S List
Self-conscious start to almost every single post.
Also of note, after this last one Seppel writes the below
Asking him both to replace out and taking a very hostile tone and then later directly contradicting the bad stance that dC took on Sir Chris about no hint of sarcasm in his post to me - without taking any issues or giving any hint of suspecting dC's alignment.

Meg did say he did not want vitality help. Multiple times.
Iso ignored that and I am scum for seeing that? Come on...
unvote, vote Seppel

World move vote:
Alway Etteem (5) - KamikazeArchon, Iso, LnGrrrR, HookerPunch, Seppel
With 18 alive, it's 10 to lynch or move.
Due to a math error on my part, Ruchperion should actually have 58 Vitality, which has been updated in the OP.
"...a talisman against all evil, so long as you obey me."
I am somewhat less interested in Rhand today.
---------------------
A few questions.
@Rhand
Eh. What was the townslip?
@Iso
Wait. How do you know this?
@Seppel
Same question. How do you know this?
----------------
@DCIII
What did I actually say?
..followed by a chunk of questions/commentary.

That being said, one thing I forgot in the above post...

Killjoy, Demernae's Suspicion, lynched Day 1.
Killjoy was lynched, so we can remove him from consideration for now.

Arianrhod --> targeted Prophylaxis (succeeded)
Iso --> targeted Megiddo
Sir Karn --> targeted Megiddo

@Megiddo, I need to thinktank on this a bit yet, but I'm pretty sure that if I'm understanding your ability correctly, we can tag-team to keep people alive and hold off vitality drain on important players / strong town reads.
I'm going to go plow through Chris's posts now. I'll refrain from sharing my current reads until after I'm done with that.

@DC3: If there's anything you'd like me to respond to in that post that would in any way change your mind about me, please let me know what is most important to you. Yes I really want you to do this.
