Now, we can see "symbol of courage and hope" is a pm quote, as both of their posts use it directly, in just that wording. But neither of them seem to make anything else that looks like a direct paraphrase, even under pressure, implying they can't give the rest of their role because it's related to their scumminess or abilities.
See, this is where you're wrong. Let's look at it again.
I believe this is going to be the key portion of this sentence. Why he was being so cryptic, I don't know, but the role PM doesn't indicate I was brought back from the dead. However, it does mention that I am dead, but states I'm the hero because of the affect I have on Canadians everywhere, being a "symbol of courage and hope".
Now, as you can see, I have quotations around it in my post. Meaning I was quoting bman's post above. Not the role PM.
This also confirms (I think) Raf's unkillable, so we shouldn't try vigging him.
Not sure why Nom being a serial killer confirms RafK's unkillable, but ok. I still don't think it's a bad idea to test him, to truly confirm that he is unkillable.
Oh, and vote MH
Their are some very good points against her, a few of her posts really strike me as off (will quote them later), and she basically just seems to be defending herself with "the arguments are shaky and full of holes".
First of all, they are full of holes. I continually point them out.
Second of all, it is scummy to come in and vote, promising to post your reasons later, like you just have to jump on this bandwagon before it takes off and you end up voting late, thus looking scummy.
I don't know if nom is town or scum. But I'd like to point out this type of behavior is his standard modus operandi.

In other words....Nom is an impulsive player who doesn't think about planning long-term or listening to others. I wouldn't be surprised if he was town. At all.

The only explanation I can think of is that getting roleblocked counts as not targetting anyone. Either that, or Nom is scum who didn't make a kill.

Most people have accused one or the other of being scummy throughout the game, so I'm not sure why it's super scummy when I do it.
Oh, wait, right, because you're trying to get me mislynched

MMoD said that if I targetted a person who gets roleblocked, it will say they didn't target anyone.
So that's fine.
With Nom "cleared", I really don't know where to go. I don't get how Buranri can have the title of Town Tracker or whatever, and be both a Tracker and a Watcher. I woudln't mind seeing him lynched.

Nom isn't exactly cleared. You know, he's a claimed SK. We don't need him right now because we barely have enough targets for our vig alone. And leaving an SK alive isn't exactly a good option. I would want him to be Gamerz shot and us to lynch someone else, but I worry about the common kill immunity SK has so it's probably safer to lynch him.
Buranri's role makes sense flavorwise. Anyone that touches the one with maple syrup becomes sticky (watcher), anyone that is touched by maple syrup becomes sticky. Maple syrup is quite sticky.
I'm going to go do a reread of Zebi though, as I find it strange that we have a tracker/watcher and double tracker.
Erm, are we really considering not lynching a claimed SK when we have an active vig? Making deals with neutrals whose win cons require you dead is usually not a good plan, especially when they have a track record a mile long of not actually being neutrals. The odds of Nom being scum are astronomical, and even if he is what he says he is, he needs to die.
MTGS stats (won/played)

As town - 5/7
As neutral - none

There's no reason to end the day yet. Obviously NA dies but we need to figure out other things before the day is over.
It shouldn't be brain surgery for watcher/tracker/doc/whoever to figure out their targets. There are enough good targets that presetting all of them is just going to let scum know who to kill. With the silly amount of targeted abilities flying around, I'm betting we can disentangle at least a few lies/misapprehensions from the mess, but overplanning defeats the whole purpose.
Get on with it. This day has been sufficiently draggy as is.

So, yeah, I am a bit defensive, understandably so.COLOR][/COLOR]
So yeah. MandersHex is scum, so you should lynch him and let me act as a vig for you. I'll be more than happy to kill whoever you tell me to.
I lol'd.
Let's get the day rolling and test Gamerz' ability to vig on RafK. We now know why so many people can protect now - two kills; one of which that may be conditional.
The next four people posting should be placing votes on Nom.

However since Buranri switched his vote to NA we now only have 2 votes on RafK when I believe we need 3.

Quote from Nom »
Well $#$%#$%.
You got me. I'm actually the SK. I tried to kill Rafk night 1, and I was RB'd last night.
I think Nom is probably lying scum. RafK's unkillableness is pretty much confirmed at this point, so it would be a safe claim to say he attempted to kill him. Also, he asked to see if anyone was roleblocked, also making that a safe claim. I see no reason to claim SK - there's really no way he can win.
In my mind, this now makes him definite scum, and I now support a Nom lynch.
Actually, I think that puts him at L-1, so no more votes please. Even if he is lying scum, or SK, it might be worth hearing what he has to say.
Then we lynch him

For some reason I actually feel inclined to believe this because claiming SK when you did seemed illogical as you weren't under a ton of pressure. But this would be a terrible gambit if you were town so I'm like confused again.
Weird gambit. Weiiiird gambit. I go away a few days and this happens (FWIW Nom, I would have come straight in and called you a liar because no way is there an SK with an unkillable in the game, it's too unfair, I said that the last time someone speculated there was an SK in this game despite the lack of any, y'know, SK kills). Is he lynched yet?

Not lynched yet. I want to believe him but like :):-/:mad::confused2::banghead::crying::confused:
On second read, Zebi, not Jerubaal, is the scum. Jerubaal was going from a "Kill the SK" view, while Zebi was calling me lying scum.
What the hell kind of town player lies about their role, and claims SK? You were obviously lying about something after the RB'ed claim, and in my experience, townspeople rarely lie that they got RB'ed.. and as such, I came to my conclusion that you were scum. It's not my fault that you tried a silly gambit.
On the contrary, Zebi, it was the most logical gambit I had.
About to get lynched when there is an obvscum sitting in front of me.
Telling the truth--not going to help
Claiming Cop--won't be believed
claiming other town power role--won't be believed
claiming mafia--not going to help
claiming SK--probably not going to help
But the SK sometimes does live a couple days after claiming. Not often, but sometimes. And without me, MandersHex is the obvious target, so, yeah. Had to try.

I'm curious why we (the town) have become so obsessed about trying to lose. Nom, if you are town, this will go down as one of the all time worst ideas ever. There's no way that claiming SK in a mini would make any sense whatsoever.
At the point where it is inevitable that I'm going to be lynched, I'm going to try an outlandish gambit if I can. When I falseclaimed, I was going to be lynched. Period. I tried to change that, in a way I do not feel hurt the town(and in fact didn't end up doing all that much at all). I don't see the problem here.
