1. We do not know that
2. We certainly do not know that.
I am not scum. The only reason I can think of why he would say that is to set up just such a situation as this: my mislynch. In an case, there is no way I can defend myself against such an attack, and I am not sure I would if there were.
If you want to lynch me, and can get the support for it, feel free. Until then I am going to keep hunting scum.
He was a Mafia Goon, which is vanilla mafia. So we know he can't track, maybe he had the NK immunity, but that only serves to protect him from the SK anyway. And that's assuming a confirmed scum was telling the truth, which is the furthest thing someone should do with the words of a confirmed scum.
Seeing Zindabad dead, I want a massclaim. Now. Once it is done I will say why, but trust me, there is an extremely good reason for it.
Everyone who hasn't claimed should do so immediately. If you already did, masons aside, please restate who you are, just so I don't have to go hunt it down.

You are assuming that zindabad played like scum. He didn't. Zindabad could've ridden his claim all the way to the endgame - he wasn't planning to get caught, so he didn't plant any WIFOM.

Look what I found, the nameclaim from a few days ago. Also, for what I noticed, this is all I need. Forgot we did one. Massclaim can wait if the majority is against it.
Alpha Werewolf and Id Ego need to name claim now. Then jerubbaal can finish us up and we can proceed with the lynch.
I filled in Id Ego's name, as he claimed after. But, Alpha and Jerubbaal never did. Or if they did I couldn't find it.
Now, why not? I think Alpha and Jerubaal should nameclaim immediately. Jerubbaal if I remember correctly is King's Knight, but I still want to hear from him.

Well, considering he was switched with someone (or is the SK if everyone has the same role) the other person who was switched should also say something. That hasn't happened yet either.
My nomination for SK: AK. He hasn't been on any lynch wagon, which does a lot for not drawing attention to him. And while he has claimed redirector, I don't recall if he ever proved it. If I am wrong about that last part, please yell at me or something. But, if he never confirms his ability, I definitely think he is the SK.

He is scum, I am sure of it. You will probably go ahead and mislynch me anyway, fine. When you realize that you have made a mistake, he should be the next target.
Something occurs to me. The role switching only works town to town, scum to scum? If we have an SK do we have another neutral for him to switch with? And do you get a conformation that the ability went off, so if we have one neutral you target him and then the power fails?
I'm amused that [Shalako], of all people, are talking about terrible reasoning. "Hey, PF's RVS daykill must be serious, therefore I should shoot him to prove that I have a daykill!"

the ability still works if he targets the last man of a faction, it just switches his role with himself.
The only confirmation of my ability is the fact my card is in the graveyard. If I targetted the SK, there would be no other person with the same wincon, so there would be no switch, and my card would NOT be in the graveyard.
It actually looks at wincons. Town only switch with town because they have the same wincon. Same for scum. But individual neutral roles usually don't have the same wincon, so if I targetted them then nothing would happen and no card in the graveyard.
So, I was looking through the posts and, as has already been pointed out Zinda did say he tracked R_O and that he did nothing. This, in my mind means one of 2 things. Either he is the SK, but since he is on the wrong track, the scum want him to keep killing, OR he is a scumbuddy. And I know this is modding the game, but AI did mention that his name "Old Vindictive Magician" sounds very SK like. Anak's character sounds bad. Just the name though. I can't help but think Chaos Sorcerer would be evil.
Lastly, Jerub switched with Infinis correct? They are confirmed town correct? And they're not dead? I think that's suspicious. You would think scum would go to kill off at least one of the "confirmed town". Maybe they're actually confirmed scum! That's also been running through my mind all day.

No kill last night and they killed the doc the night before. AI is probably SK kill.
And to reiterate a good point we came out as masons before we needed to, and yet we're still likely scum? That jeruubaal confirmed the role switch ability, to out his scum buddy in some sort of gambit?
Isn't easier to assume that clay and Id ego switched with him are scum?
I'm amused that [Shalako], of all people, are talking about terrible reasoning. "Hey, PF's RVS daykill must be serious, therefore I should shoot him to prove that I have a daykill!"
I should mention that somewhere I read that you should be wary of people who claim before they need to/at a strange time. It's like a half scum tell.
*looking up*
This.
Also, if they were scum, then they wouldn't have come out with it at all, because it links their alignment together, something scum definitely do not want.
Found in the Welcome to Mafia thread, in the Behaviorial Analysis: Chapter Two scum tells section.
The only thing that clears them is AI, although he doesn't actually know their alignment. There is a small chance they are scum, but seems unlikely.
I'm interested in the Id Ego-Clayton argument, but I don't like the way Infinis puts it. "Easier"? Why are you looking for the easy solution? I also don't like the word assume. There are just things that bother me with Infinis's last post.

sorry gentleman, I've had some personal problems that almost wanted me to replace out but things seem to be working out first let me start with my claim.
Homunculus the Alchemic Being, vanilla.
my fluff indicated that during the early days of the game I was played manly because of the fact that I was a decent sized creature, but as the game evolved I fell behind the pack and that my ability is/was almost usless. hence the lack of an ability. I continue to be played by the casual group were I find a place in the game.
so first off, I had not expected zindabad to come up scum. really none of his play came off scummy but looking back he did have a level of confidence as if he knew more than the rest of us. I'm more suprised by the fact that their was a daykill and that it hit zindabad head on. as for the lack of kills at night, I'm going to say that I currently put blame on the SK for the day kill and can't begin to speculate why the scum didn't kill, hell they might have not submitted a kill for all I know.
as for likely candidates for the scum, I will also agree that zindabad had a level of town read amonst a few of us and make's the cover on R_O look really suspicious. I would like to look further on this before I continue with a vote. Also I also would like to point out that AK has down nothing in regards to my assumtions of him being the SK. In fact he does seem to care very little on what accusations are made to him. I would like anyone who feels that I'm scum to come out and say why, it's about time I address this.
I should mention that somewhere I read that you should be wary of people who claim before they need to/at a strange time. It's like a half scum tell.

Actually totally agree with this as a scum tell, but if you look back at the situation, it was really an easy call. It's not healthy to leave cryptic plans buried past their profitability, and AI was dead, so if Infinis (or me) gets shot, I lose all ability to corroborate my claim/plan.
Anyway, updated claim stuff, pulled from Anak's post

Your arguments for me being the SK are ridiculous, which is in large part why I ignored them. Also: On night 2, when you allege that an SK killing took place, my card appeared in the graveyard, so I don't see how I could've redirected and killed.
We live in a country were ~50% of the populace believe public schooling is a socialist conspiracy and that being called Einstein is an insult. We could try and fix it, but unfortunately the other 50% don't believe in euthanasia.
Anyone with Dueal Monsters game knowledge? Actual playing time? Can you shed some light on the cards and timing of play of said cards that are in the graveyard.
Gaming the mod but any ideas what happened to Zind besides death? And what kind of cards to stop and redirect a kill? Maybe reflect a kill out of phase? IE Zind submitted night kill, it's reflected back at him the next day phase.
I'm amused that [Shalako], of all people, are talking about terrible reasoning. "Hey, PF's RVS daykill must be serious, therefore I should shoot him to prove that I have a daykill!"
I'm amused that [Shalako], of all people, are talking about terrible reasoning. "Hey, PF's RVS daykill must be serious, therefore I should shoot him to prove that I have a daykill!"
I played some a while back, but not competitively.
I can tell you that Offerings to the Doom is a Quick Play Spell Card. Kind of like how sorceries and instants work, a regular Spell card is a sorcery, while Quick Play Spell cards are like instants. That little lightning bolt symbol at the top is how you know. Also, it makes sense for a Quick Play Spell card to be a daytime ability.
Are we putting Tacky as town via vig claim? I'm thinking otherwise, Putting things together to look at but most likely won't finish tonight, due to the hockey game (Bruins-Flyers. Go Bruins.) and plans tomorrow will limit time on here. So hopefully tomorrow night I can present something. Thinking there was a gambit here. So on that note I don't want to see any type of lynch happening in the meantime.

Lastly, Jerub switched with Infinis correct? They are confirmed town correct? And they're not dead? I think that's suspicious. You would think scum would go to kill off at least one of the "confirmed town". Maybe they're actually confirmed scum! That's also been running through my mind all day.
I'm a spellcaster, not a fiend, referring to my card. I like chaos, not evil. They are different. Not sure what else to say to this.
And remember, AI was the third of the masons, Queens Knight. So if Jerubbaal and Infinis are scum then thats bastard-moddery of the highest degree. Not counting jesters. ☺☺☺☺ing jesters...
Like I said, it's just your name. Not anything substantial.
And on the bastard-moddery possible mason-scums, I'm not counting it out. It seems unlikely, but so does having two confirmed town stay alive for 2-3 more days after the scum know about it.
And scum tend to avoid killing townies w/o abilities, confirmed or not. Not saying it's correct, but it's the usual MO.

And to reiterate a good point we came out as masons before we needed to, and yet we're still likely scum? That jeruubaal confirmed the role switch ability, to out his scum buddy in some sort of gambit?
Isn't easier to assume that clay and Id ego switched with him are scum?
12-11? I'm losing track
Town
Infinis - Jack's Knight - Mason
jerubbaal - King's Knight - Mason
TheArtistCurrentlyKnownAs - Strike Ninja - 2-shot vig
Anaklusmos761 - Chaos Sorceror - Role switcher
Linked (both town or both scum)
claytonthegreat - Homunculus the Alchemic Being - Vanilla
Id Ego - Magician of Faith - Vanilla
The Rest
red_0mega - Old Vindictive Magician - NoneAlpha Werewolf - Harpie Lady - None
Archmage Eternal - Dark Magician - Vanilla
Apokalypse_Kid - Reflect Bounder - "Mirror"
RO I read as his usual town, but he should just claim at this point. As should Alpha. They're the only two who have not, iirc.
FTR, if we have a neutral, AK's ability certainly fits the bill best. I could totally see the reflection thing working for a neutral-appropriate protection ability.

Is there some kind of agreement to not noticing anything I do? For the third time, I'm Harpie Lady, Vannila Town.
r_0 also claimed vannila.
My blog.
Not true. Redirecting can be a scum ability.
My blog.
Your arguments for me being the SK are ridiculous, which is in large part why I ignored them. Also: On night 2, when you allege that an SK killing took place, my card appeared in the graveyard, so I don't see how I could've redirected and killed.

Gaming the mod but any ideas what happened to Zind besides death? And what kind of cards to stop and redirect a kill? Maybe reflect a kill out of phase? IE Zind submitted night kill, it's reflected back at him the next day phase.

-Judge Man being the Cop, his ability is Eye of Truth
-Jack's Knight, Queen's Knight, King's Knight being masons

They hate us cause they ain't us.
