I'm a bit of an off and on casual player but I recently got my kids into Magic and that rekindled my interest. I picked up the game during the original Ravnica, joined the Army, lost interest, and came back into the scene during Battle for Zendikar. My kids are fascinated by the game and want to start playing cometitively so I'm here to learn what I can and then pass it on to them. I'm looking forward to interacting with everyone. Cheers!

How old are your kids? I would try to focus on either building standar decks, or play limited (sealed drafts). standar gets expensive over time as the cards do not retain their price as the market rotates. However, modern has a steep cost the first time. Although good budget options exist.

I have dyslexia, no I am not going to spell check for you, yes you have to live with the horrors of it.
