Hi guys, I was big into Magic back in 1994-97.. I have a ton of cards.. Don't really remember what's what in it all.. 3rd edition is the most of it I think.. Probably a few sets, and the special edition sets.. Dark something or other I think was one.. They've been stored in a card box and valuable cards in cases for 20 years lol.. Anyway.. Just wondering what my collection is worth. Thanks!

Welcome back to the game! It's hard to say what your collection is worth. At around that time most of the sets were total crap from a monetary standpoint, but there are some hidden gems out there.
From Revised, any of the dual lands are worth $50+. Alliances (flag set symbol) yielded Force of Will, and from Mirage (palm tree symbol) there's Lion's Eye Diamond. If you have anything from Legends (broken column set symbol), Arabian Nights (scimitar symbol), or Antiquities (anvil symbol) you have a chance at something high dollar. Best thing to do is sort them by set if you haven't done so yet and use a store site such as Star City Games and search by set, scrolling for the cards with value. It's time consuming, but if you are planning on selling your collection it will make you more informed.
