I'm the newly created "perfect hand magic" moderator. Come check out our awesome game over on other forum games! I have to post 5 times before I am permitted to post links, which sucks...but well, here's one!
hi..... um this is my first posting. i'm looking for confirmation of something. i bought a fate reforged booster box yesterday from my local magic shop which has got me giddy........ the box had a total of 10 legendary creatures in it. 9 of the 10 the set contained, and a foil duplicate of the r/b dragon.
is this a freak occurrence of luck? or is this how the boxes for this set have been stacked???
Hey, just joined the site after browsing for a while (particularly at the custom card creation section). I originally started playing MTG pretty early on, though not at the very beginning - it was around the time when 4th edition was new and you could still buy packs of Legends and other early expansions. My first two boxes were 4th edition and Ice Age. Basically, the days when Jester's Cap was all the rage, Necropotence was a thing, and the banned/restricted list was much smaller. I used to have a ritual of attending a Friday night Magic Night at a certain comic store for some years. At some point later on I sold almost all my cards, maybe around the time of Onslaught. Kind of to my regret.
I started back up again a few years ago, when the Return to Ravnica block was new. It's definitely interesting to come back to the game with the perspective of an older player (the power scale has both been watered down and greatly increased at the same time - the idea of a plain two mana counterspell and other vintage staples being a taboo standard was odd to get used to at first, and at the same time some of the newer stuff, especially Planeswalkers, can also be really powerful), so much has changed and there's still a lot of catching up to do. In some ways I'm a little bit of a newb all over again simply because of all the developments I missed.
Hello, My names Joe and i've used the site before as a spoiler lover but now desire the community aspect of it.
I'm a big time legacy lover and even got me to the pro tour without even knowing it, still have yet to enter a PTQ and only one Grand Prix ever.(I Top 8'd GP Jersey with MUD) Apparently without me knowing there were people in Belgium who even call me "Mr. Roboto" when I was over there for the PT(That was embarrassing). Anti reserve list, Casual lover and community guy.
I am however looking for somebody for altering cards preferably in the North east. Im looking to extend and alter the very same cards that got me on the amazing journey I had made with the deck. I don't know where to start on that
Hi everyone! My name is Alessandro and I'm from Italy. I've been reading the MTGSalvation forums for a couple of years and got some real interesting ideas to improve my decks and my style of playing. Now I decided to join to give the community my contribution. I've been playing MTG since I was a kid (Mirrodin block) and quit right after New Phyrexia was released mainly because of the Stoneblade T2 party.
I jumped back in the game with the release of Khans of Tarkir. I like competitive play especially Modern and Standard that are the most common formats in my area. I'm trying hard to get the cards to enter Legacy and maybe one day Vintage.
Hope I will enjoy the time spent on this forum See you around!

Tried to change manually a lot of text, still no positive result. Need help, please.
Hi! I guess this is the place for introductions,so I will just start it up here! I have been playing MTG since 2006, and I'm still lovin' it, even though I have way too many cards, and will have to purge my collection after I make playsets of cards, then sell off the extras, etc. Otherwise, I mostly play standard currently, I have changed up my white weenie standard deck into a mono whte standard control, with exiling, etc, up the wazoo, I added elspeths, and more, and its locks down the board and pisses off the opponents,(The games were LONG), I hav a few EDH decks, with a u/w flying control deck bieng the better deck of the few currently, and will hopefully rebuild my tiny leaders decks soon.Magic has given me an outlet that I am lucky to have in my life, and not many people understand why, but it gives me other stuff to think of and do, to put my mind off of other stuff in life, etc. MTG, is just awesome , even though it kills my wallet, lol, also, if anyone knows where to find some great budget edh, and standard decks, plz let me know! I love the budget decks, since bieng in college also kills the ol' wallet!
I've been playing MtG casually off and on with my brother and friends for many years but RtR was the set I decided to play competitively.
Everyday I try to read and watch things MtG to better myself but I play a majority of the time in order to reach my goals. Now I am trying my hand at discussing MtG with my fellow compatriots in order to round myself out.
Modern is my format.
I own Midrange decks mostly: Obliterock, Abzan, and Jund (recently my favorite).
I play MtGO under the same moniker: anooshapalooza
Hi there. Have been playing MtG as a casual game w/ friends since I was nine. I'm 15 now and mainly play Modern in my LGS. I live in a small town so MtG is not really well-known here, but still a lot of people come to FNMs.
Blue and black are my favourite colours. I would probably build a UB Faeries deck if I could, but I don't have too much budget for it
Anyway I'm currently building a monoblack deck and will try get a job this summer to earn some money for it.
I'm an aggro man, I'm just not made for control, but that doesn't mean that I can't have a deck with discard or disruption spells.
I often play on Cockatrice under the nickname StalinSykes and, sometimes, EmoSatanicCommunist. If you find me one day, be ready for a lot of mistakes and stupid plays by me.
hello i havent been on a forum in years but figured why not lol been looking for an active one who dont mind having another forum sig maker on board nice to meet you all!
