Greetings. After lurking time and time again I've decided to register.
My name is Stephanie. I've been playing MTG for about 2 years now. (I started collecting back in '95 with an interest in the imaginative side of the game but there was no one else around who ever even heard of the game. Needless to say the cards were put around until 2 years ago.)
I guess I can say I'm addicted. I'm especially addicted to Limited, although I don't do so well at it (admitting I'm a rare-drafter most of the time). I'm ok at constructed. I've won a few FNMs. I also enjoy playing Type 4 with my friends.
As for the my MTG future, I hope to get to a big tournament some day, write some articles, and dream of "breaking" a card, making a truly original deck (one that actually works).

One day when you stop rare drafting you'll see you can win all those other people
Welcome to the forums.
That is true. I believe I can do better if I don't rare draft. I'm always delighted when I open up a pack with a rare I don't have (usually drafting is the only time I buy packs since I'm on a limited budget - no pun intended). Especially rares I'm wanting to put in a constructed deck. I'm torn because part of me plays to compete yet the other part of me just wants to have fun and build a fun and unique limited deck. Either way I want to go home feeling I got my $10 worth.
I haven't been playing Limited as long as Type 2 (started drafting every other week around the time Dissension came out) so I still feel rather new to the format.
