I don't want more than 7ish.
Some stuff about this world:
This is going to be a steampunkish world setting, comprised of elements found in Eberron, the Realms, and wherever else I choose to yank them from. Thus, business as usual.
Everyone's starting on an airship (No, it isn't the party's!) so do keep that in mind, and give me a reason why you're on an airship flying that far above the surface. I don't care what the reason is (within reason) but I'd like to know. If you don't want that reason public, then by all means PM me with it.
Some world background-
The skies became full about ten years ago when a portal from /somewhere/ ripped into existence. Mages thought that it would fade in time, yet it seemed to stabilize as each day passed. Strange and unusual creatures came forth- some hostile, some peaceful indeed, and though they tried, no one has yet been able to enter this portal once they exit it.
They brought with them limited forms of technology, tech that ran on magical energies.
Thus began the rise of the Corsairs.
With the fleet they brought through the rift, skyships of impossible size, they began raiding settlements... though they never took life unnecessarily. No, they took goods, and on occasion willing souls to join their crews.
That is, until one went rogue.
He called himself the Prince, and no one had seen his face. He never left his ship, known as the Black Coffin, and his people raided with a ferocity that stunned the rest of the Corsairs, because once they had all they needed, they left no witnesses. No survivors. Rumors abounded that this Prince wasn't even alive, or that he was a demon from the darkest pits of the Abyss. His single ship, colored black as night and known to disappear from view as if it had teleported, soon became a small fleet- he attacked even his own former brotherhood.
The Corsairs liked this not one bit, and so their leader met with the ruler of a major city, Shardhome, and formed a truce.
They began working together, and yet their methods were not working. At every turn, this Prince took and took and killed and killed until they were at their wit's end.
One young corsair by the name of Alia volunteered. She would seek out adventurers to take this Prince down, or die trying. Her ship, the Cutter, would search the lands until she found those capable of doing what no one else could.
Take down the Prince, and make him pay for sullying the Corsairs' good name.
Your story begins on the airship Cutter

Question: Does that advanced technology by chance include flintlock pistols? Or some variant thereof? If not, I have an idea of how to simulate it on my own.
Also, placeholder for Kestrel.

Most guns would be either single shot (for higher damage, probably d10-d12 range) or six-loaders for subesquently lower damage (d6); if you want to figure out some kind of speedloader I am curious as to how it'd work.
As for Rapid Reload, I barely know how that works offhand for normal ranged weapons. -.-

Rapid Reload. Reduces the time it takes to reload a crossbow. Figured it would make sense that it would work with single-shot pistols as well.
So far my character amuses me.
On a totally unrelated note: I can't seem to find the stats for how fast characters fall through the air on a round-by-round basis. Is it in the DM Guide or the Player's Handbook?
EDIT: Oh wait there it is. 150 ft on the first round, then 300 ft on subsequent rounds. Excellent.
DOUBLE EDIT: How much do guns cost for purchasing?

Oh I'm planning on using Telekinesis for much more amusing things.
Should be pretty tough for an enemy to keep their skyship afloat while I'm Telekinesis-ing the steering wheel into a mountain or into a nosedive.
Like I said, my guy is going to focus on doing crazy sneaky things with magic. In a straight fight he'll lose 99% of the time. So he doesn't fight straight.
Figuring out creative ways to use magic to facilitate sneak attacks is the only way he'll be able to deal lots of direct damage. Otherwise, he's a featherweight.

I usually like to be modest rather than full-on cuhrayzee when making characters nowadays. I'm so boring~ I get the feeling that my character will die a horrible death, but that's okay.
I'm fairly certain that I want one side to be cleric/warlock 1/eldritch disciple, but everything is still nebulous. Do monks retain their dumb alignment/multiclass restrictions?

Sheet has been edited into first post, and a lot of editing has been done to the sheet. Just need to edit in the full backstory, the spells, and work out all his combat bonuses and I should be good to go.
Turns out I made him something of a glass cannon. Doing the math, he can dish out tons of damage if he goes full-tilt. But a butterfly lands on him and he's at -9 hp.

Sep: NO SWIFT HUNTER. Will look over sheet in a bit.
Yeah, like i said this is an old char that i never got to use, stuff will need to be changed, most likely will take out scout/stalker levels and replacing them with something else...
