I'm loving the forum traffic in here. Lots of quests going on. I might just add a new one of my own. Good job guys.

Yes, yes, yes, I was determined to bring my beloved Main Colo back to life, though I probably bit off more than I could chew with all these random things to update. DBZ's doing a good job too.

Sing lustily and with good courage.
Be aware of singing as if you were half dead,
or half asleep:
but lift your voice with strength.
Be no more afraid of your voice now,
nor more ashamed of its being heard,
than when you sang the songs of Satan.
Perhaps, yet the members like them, they're active, and it's better than the deserted wasteland the Main Colo was previously.
True though that perhaps it's not a good idea for every random Colo poster to go, "Oh man, I wanna make a quest now! :glee:", maybe wait for someone else's quest series to end before you start yours.

I have no problem with several quests in here; the issue is when every member goes "Hey let's make a quest and let's give it fifty threads!"
TFE: Exactly. I'd almost consider some sort of queue to sign up on to start a quest.

Well, I see where Sen's coming from in the point that it's maybe a bit too crowded and messy, but I suppose activity isn't a bad thing, especially if the members enjoy it.
Like I said:

Like four Tournament of Souls, basically my Citadel and Robot Jesus Quests are dead or dying, so I figured that if two quests of mine were going away, making one wouldn't unsettle the balance too badly. Plus I've got GotC vibes with this sucker, you should be a judge Senori, Calvin's already a judge, there'd be a balance if the two Supreme Judges were you and Calvin.
The queue is ridiculous. It's beaurocratic crap. Take it off.

You do know this surge in activity isn't going to be forever. I would love it to be like this all the time, but logically, the queue will waste a lot of time when normal activity resumes.

If it ever becomes really unnecessary, then it can be removed. Until then, realize for once in your life that your word is not law.

Here's the deal, I'm not merely imposing what I want, because a lot of people usually disagree with your judgements, all the time. I don't think I'm the problem here.

I have an idea. It may sound stupid, though, so please refrain from laughing. We make a subforum.
World Project: Chronicles
And each subforum within that subforum is aptly named: Zombageddon, The Tower, etc.
In this WP, there is no need to make a central character. Players can just pick which subforums they want to take part in, and make their characters there.
Interesting, sort of like a bit of the never made Robot Jesus WP, sort of already done with some current WPs, like Shizumi and Nox to Crooklyn...
But at the same time I think the Main Colo serves its purpose well for these quests. *shrug*
Also, you've gotta join Tournament of Souls, Danban! :xd: It's like, the ****ing future man.

*shrug* If a quest is long-running enough and big enough, it might be best to just give it a WP (though that confers special priveliges that I wouldn't want everyone to end up with).

Like if Tournament of Souls was a game in Crooklyn it'd have half the RPers, since not everyone likes Crooklyn, quests are just easier to get into in the Main Colo.

Perhaps, though I'm not sure Senori'd be willing to do that many, especially at the risk of some of them floundering, I don't think he's eager to give all the WPs easy entry passes, some of them may not be up to par or may be already being done theme-wise. Who knows, it's certainly possible that the Colo could take and support more WPs than the current load.

Is it possible that the Collo could support 50 WPs? Sure, it's possible. Is it likely?
The current limit is conservative, and it's that way for a reason. Having more WPs won't give a significant palpable advantage to the Collo, but they could very well give it a significant disadvantage. I'd prefer to keep it that way.

How could it give it a disadvantage? At the very least (and I don't even think this would happen, given the many Colo posters) we'd have one or two inactive WPs. Plus, I think there's enough dedicated Colosseum posters to make the WPs active anyway.
