Feyd_Ruin :: Hit me baby, 1 mana at a time... Badlands / Mental Misstep / Mindstab / The Rack / Rift Bolt MM was probably strictly necessary, just because Thoughtseize was absolutely ubiquitous this week. The Mindstab wasn't really ever useful, though, and probably would have served better as either a second threat or a second Rift Bolt or something.
Congratulations to WhammWhamme for winning 5CB 3.24!
Next week will be another specialty week, Scrabble-verse
-Players will get an additional number of POTM points equal to 1/50 the Scrabble score of the names of the cards they submit. This WILL affect standings for that week.
-You may not submit a deck with unplayable cards. Any card in a deck that is both uncastable and has no abilities which can be used by the deck to materially move towards winning will be replaced upon submission with a basic Plains. (I realize this is a subjective requirement, and I do not intend to enforce it unless the spirit of the rule is blatantly ignored. So there's no need to ask whether you can submit Dark Depths in a deck with only Black Lotus as a mana source and no way of recurring it. If you really want to, go ahead. But submitting a deck of 5 Lady Zhurong, Warrior Queens will not be accepted.)
Wit's End is the PERFECT answer to your opponent's Monomania however.
Just hold on to your Wit's End when they Monomania, so you can Wit's End them on your next turn!!!
I think this is fairly reminiscent of the "Jace Battles" we have seen in past standards.. My guess is we will soon witness the great Monomania-Wit's End battles.

Actually, I split the match against the Digger deck; on the play, I Thoughtseize Soldevi Digger, and then two Mayors beats whatever Draco plays (my Wolves are bigger and more numerous than his).

Alright, I guess it's not a big deal for Roman numerals to be counted, even though arabic ones obviously aren't - Borrowing 100,000 Arrows is sad about that though ;-)

Decks are due Oct 23rd, at 10pm EST.
darn, I was looking forward to using Expédition du reliquaire de Zektar
you wouldn't be able to submit Lady Zhurongx5 anyway, there are already rules saying your deck must win some games
I assume flip cards and DFCs only count the castable side, and split cards count both?
35 points for the book, unless I've miscounted.
Your assumptions seem valid, so we'll go with them, sure.
anyway you can use one of these you don't need to count it manually

it's very close, though. I think it's only 1 point ahead of Mizzium Transreliquat, and 2 ahead of Garza Zol, Plague Queen

I may have accidently submitted to the wrong person, but I'd never admit to that.
